1 ⲁ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲏⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲡⲉⲓⲣⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ
Then Yeshua [Salvation] was led up by haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil [Accuser].
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲙⲉ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ϩⲙⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲁϥϩⲕⲟ
When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁϥϯ ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲡⲉⲓⲣⲁⲍⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁϫⲓⲥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲣⲟⲉⲓⲕ
The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, command that these stones become bread.”
4 ⲇ̅ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϥⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲣⲉⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲧⲁⲡⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Adonai.’”
5 ⲉ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲧⲏⲛϩ ⲙⲡⲣⲡⲉ
Then the devil [Accuser] took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
6 ⲋ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲟϫⲕ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁ ϥⲥⲏϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ϥⲛⲁϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲏⲧⲕ ⲛⲥⲉϥⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϭⲓϫ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲅϫⲱⲣⲡ ⲉⲩⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ
and said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will enjoin his angels unto you.’ And, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”
7 ⲍ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲟⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ϥⲥⲏϩ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲕⲡⲉⲓⲣⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘You shall not test MarYah [Master Yahweh], your God.’”
8 ⲏ̅ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓⲧϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲟⲥⲉ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲟϥ ⲉⲙⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ
Again, the devil [Accuser] took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲕϣⲁⲛⲡⲁϩⲧⲕ ⲛⲅⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁⲓ
He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”
10 ⲓ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϥⲥⲏϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲉⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲁϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲉϣⲙϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ
Then Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Get behind me, Satan [Adversary]! For it is written, ‘You shall worship MarYah [Master Yahweh] your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲕⲁⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲇⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛⲉⲓ ⲛⲁϥ
Then the devil [Accuser] left him, and behold, angels came and served him.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲁϥⲁⲛⲁⲭⲱⲣⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ
Now when Yeshua [Salvation] heard that John [Yah is gracious] was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee [District, Circuit].
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲕⲱ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛⲛⲁⲍⲁⲣⲉⲑ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϩ ϩⲛ ⲕⲁⲡⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲙ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲁⲧⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ϩⲛ ⲛⲧⲟϣ ⲛⲍⲁⲃⲟⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲫⲑⲁⲗⲉⲓⲙ
Leaving Nazareth [Branch, Separated one], he came and lived in Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun [Living together] and Naphtali [My wrestling],
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϫⲟⲟϥ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲏⲥⲁⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet, saying,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲍⲁⲃⲟⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲫⲑⲁⲗⲉⲓⲙ ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
“The land of Zebulun [Living together] and the land of Naphtali [My wrestling], toward the sea, beyond the Jordan [Descender], Galil-of-the-Goyim [District, Circuit of Non-Jews],
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁⲕⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲭⲱⲣⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲑⲁⲓⲃⲉⲥ ⲙⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁ ⲛⲁⲩ
the people who lived in darkness saw a great light, to those who live in the land of the shadow of death, to them light has dawned.”
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ϫⲓⲛ ⲡⲉⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲁⲣⲭⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲁϥⲱ ⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲉⲓ ⲁⲥϩⲱⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲙⲡⲏⲩⲉ
From that time, Yeshua [Salvation] began to preach, and to say, “Teshuvah ·Turn repent·! For the Kingdom of Heaven (God) is at hand.”
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲁⲧⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲛⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲥⲟⲛ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉ ϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲁⲛⲇⲣⲉⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϩⲓϣⲛⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉϩⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϩⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉ
Walking by the sea of Galilee [District, Circuit], he saw two brothers: Simeon [Hearing], who is called Peter [Rock], and Andrew [Manly], his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲏⲓⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲉϩⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ⲧⲁⲣⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲱϩⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ
He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
20 ⲕ̅ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲕⲱ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϣⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ
They immediately left their nets and followed him.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲏ ⲛⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩⲓ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲕⲉⲥⲟⲛ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲍⲉⲃⲉⲇⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙ ⲡϫⲟⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲍⲉⲃⲉⲇⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲩⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲩⲥⲟϥⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϣⲛⲏⲩ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee [Surplanter son of Yah Has Bestowed], and John [Yah is gracious] his brother, in the boat with Zebedee [Bestowed by Yah] their father, mending their nets. He called them.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲕⲱ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϣⲛⲏⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲩⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ
They immediately left the boat and their father, and followed him.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲉϥϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲉϥⲣⲡⲁϩⲣⲉ ⲉϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓⲗⲟϫⲗϫ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧϩⲙ ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ
Yeshua [Salvation] went about in all Galilee [District, Circuit], teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲥⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲙⲟⲕϩ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲃⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲧⲕⲁⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲟ ⲛⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧϩⲓⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ ⲁϥⲣⲡⲁϩⲣⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ
The report about him went out into all Syria [Elevated]. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛϭⲓ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲇⲉⲕⲁⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ ⲙⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ
Great multitudes from Galilee [District, Circuit], Decapolis, Jerusalem [City of peace], Judea [Praise] and from beyond the Jordan [Descender] followed him.
