1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲟⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ
And He entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲑⲉⲣⲁⲡⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲉⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
and they were watching Him, whether on the Sabbaths He will heal him, that they might accuse Him.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲅ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ
And He says to the man having the hand withered, “Rise up in the midst.”
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲝⲉⲥⲧⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ϫⲛⲣⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϩⲉⲟⲩⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϫⲛⲉⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧⲥ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ
And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?” But they were silent.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϭⲱϣⲧ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲧⲱⲙ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲩⲧⲛⲧⲉⲕϭⲓϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲗⲟ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ
And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch forth your hand”; and he stretched forth, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
6 ⲋ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲛϩⲏⲣⲱⲇⲓⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϫⲓϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ
and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against Him how they might destroy Him.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲁϥⲁⲛⲁⲭⲱⲣⲓ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛⲙϯⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲁ
And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea,
8 ⲏ̅ ⲛⲙⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲉⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ϯⲇⲟⲩⲙⲁⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲣⲇⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲙⲡⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲥⲓⲇⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲛⲉⲧϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they around Tyre and Sidon—a great multitude—having heard how He was doing great things, came to Him.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉϩⲉⲛⲉϫⲏⲩ ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲕⲁⲣⲧⲉⲣⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲑⲗⲓⲃⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
And He said to His disciples that a little boat may wait on Him, because of the multitude, that they may not press on Him,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϯⲡⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲉϫⲱϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲙⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝ ϩⲓⲱⲟⲩ
for He healed many, so that they threw themselves on Him, in order to touch Him—as many as had plagues;
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϣⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛⲥⲉϫⲓϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing Him, were falling down before Him, and were crying, saying, “You are the Son of God”;
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
and many times He was charging them that they might not make Him apparent.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲧϥⲟⲩⲁϣⲟⲩ
And He goes up to the mountain, and calls near whom He willed, and they went away to Him;
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁϥⲛⲉϩⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥϯ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥϫⲟⲟⲩⲥⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲓϣ
and He appointed twelve, that they may be with Him, and that He may send them forth to preach,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲛϥϯ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϫ ⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
and to have power to heal the sicknesses, and to cast out the demons.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲁϥϯⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ
And He put on Simon the name Peter;
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲍⲉⲃⲉⲇⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲁϥϯϩⲉⲛⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲃⲟⲁⲛⲏⲣⲅⲉⲥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲉⲓ
and James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and He put on them names—Boanerges, that is, “Sons of thunder”;
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲇⲣⲉⲁⲥ ⲛⲙⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲃⲁⲣⲑⲟⲗⲟⲙⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲙⲁⲑⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲙⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲗⲫⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲑⲁⲇⲇⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲕⲁⲛⲁⲛⲁⲓⲟⲥ
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲛⲙⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓⲱⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲓⲇⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up; and they come into a house.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲉⲓ ⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲙⲥⲣϥⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲉⲙⲡⲉⲩⲟⲉⲓⲕ
And a multitude comes together again, so that they are not even able to eat bread;
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲱϣⲥ
and those alongside Him having heard, went forth to lay hold on Him, for they said that He was beside Himself,
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲃⲉⲉⲗⲍⲉⲃⲟⲩⲗ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲙ ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲛⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲉϫⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out the demons.”
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛϩⲉ ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϥⲛⲁⲛⲉϫⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
And having called them near, He said to them in allegories, “How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲉⲣⲏⲩⲛⲥⲛⲁϣⲁϩⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ
And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;

and if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot be made to stand;
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲉϣⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲧⲉϥϩⲁⲏ ϣⲱⲡⲉ
and if Satan rose against himself, and has been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but has an end.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϣⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲉⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲛⲁⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲧⲙⲙⲟⲩⲣ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲣⲡ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲏⲉⲓ
No one is able to spoil the vessels of the strong man, having entered into his house, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲣⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
Truly I say to you that all sins will be forgiven to the sons of men, and slanders with which they might have slandered,
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲙⲛⲧϥⲕⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϥϭⲏⲡ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲃⲉ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn , aiōnios )
but whoever may slander in regard to the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness—throughout the age, but is in danger of continuous judgment; (aiōn , aiōnios )
30 ⲗ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ
because they said, He has an unclean spirit.”
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
Then His brothers and mother come, and standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him,
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲕⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲥⲉⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ϩⲓⲃⲟⲗ
and a multitude was sitting around Him, and they said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside.”
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ
And He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?”
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁϥϭⲱϣⲧ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲙⲡⲉϥⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲁϩⲧⲏϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲧⲁⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ
And having looked around in a circle to those sitting around Him, He says, “Behold, My mother and My brothers!
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲥⲱⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲙⲁⲁⲩ
For whoever may do the will of God, he is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
