1 ⲁ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲕⲁⲫⲁⲣⲛⲁⲟⲩⲙ ϩⲓϫⲛ ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ϫⲉ ϥϩⲛⲟⲩⲏⲉⲓ
When he entered again into Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion] after some days, it was heard that he was in the house.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲉϣ ϩⲓⲣⲙⲡⲣⲟ ϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ
Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲏϭ ⲉⲣⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϥⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ
Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩϭⲉⲗⲡⲧⲟⲩⲉϩⲥⲟⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧϥⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩϣⲟϫⲧ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲗⲁ ⲙⲡⲉϭⲗⲟϭ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ ⲛⲏϫ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ
When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲁⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
Yeshua [Salvation], seeing their trusting faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your abstract sins ·miss the marks· are forgiven you.”
6 ⲋ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲛϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲏⲧ
But there were some of the Torah-Teachers sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 ⲍ̅ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓ ϥϣⲁϫⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ ⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϣⲕⲁⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲁⲟⲩⲁⲁϥ
“Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive abstract sins ·miss the marks· but God alone?”
8 ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲡⲛⲁ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧ
Immediately Yeshua [Salvation], perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲟⲧⲛ ⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅϥⲓⲡⲉⲕϭⲗⲟϭ ⲛⲅⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϫⲛⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲁⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your abstract sins ·miss the marks· are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?’
10 ⲓ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲧϥⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲕⲁⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive abstract sins ·miss the marks·”— he said to the paralytic—
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲓϫⲉⲣⲟⲕ ϥⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲕϭⲗⲟϭ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲏⲉⲓ
“I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.”
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲉⲡⲉϥϭⲗⲟϭ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲣϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ
He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲧⲛⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁϥϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲩ
He went out again by the seaside. All the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲡⲁⲣⲁⲅⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲗⲉⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲁⲗⲫⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉϥⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁϩⲕ ⲛⲥⲱⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛⲥⲱϥ
As he passed by, he saw Levi [United with], the son of Alphaeus [Changing], sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲏⲉⲓ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ϩⲓⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲛⲙⲓⲏⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲩⲟϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ
He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners ·devoted to missing the mark and without share in the goal· sat down with Yeshua [Salvation] and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲙⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲥⲱ ⲛⲙⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ
The Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated], when they saw that he was eating with the sinners ·devoted to missing the mark and without share in the goal· and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners ·devoted to missing the mark and without share in the goal·?”
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲧⲏⲕ ⲙⲡⲥⲁⲓⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲕⲁⲕⲱⲥ ⲛⲧⲁⲉⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲙⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲣⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ
When Yeshua [Salvation] heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the upright, but sinners ·devoted to missing the mark and without share in the goal· to teshuvah ·complete repentance·.”
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲛⲙⲛⲁ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ
John [Yah is gracious]’s disciples and the Pharisees [Separated] were fasting, and they came and asked him, “Why do John [Yah is gracious]’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees [Separated] fast, but your disciples don’t fast?”
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲛϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ϩⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲡⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ
Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲟⲩⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲉⲩϣⲁⲛϥⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲛⲏ ⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ
But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲉϫⲏⲣⲡ ⲃⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉϩⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲛⲁⲡⲉϩⲛϩⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲡⲱⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϩⲱⲧ ⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲛⲉϫⲏⲣⲡ ⲃⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉϩⲱⲧ ⲃⲃⲣⲣⲉ
No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.”

He was going on the Sabbath ·To cease· day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲣⲓⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲕ ⲉⲝⲉⲥⲧⲓ ⲉⲁⲁϥ
The Pharisees [Separated] said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath ·To cease· day?”

How he entered into God’s house when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread from the altar of Yahweh, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”

Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath ·To cease·.”
