1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲛⲟⲃⲉ
He[F] raised you up as well, when you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲉⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲁⲏⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲛⲁϩⲧⲉ (aiōn )
in which you once walked, according to the Aeon of this world, the ruler of the domain of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of the disobedience; (aiōn )
3 ⲅ̅ ⲉⲁⲛⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲱⲱⲛ ϩⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲉⲛⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲛϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲫⲩⲥⲉⲓ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲕⲉⲥⲉⲉⲡⲉ ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ
among whom all of us also used to conduct ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the flesh and of the senses, and were by nature children of wrath, just like the rest.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲡⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲧⲛⲁϣⲱⲥ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲣⲓⲧⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ
But God—being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲛⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲛϩⲟⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲧⲟⲩϫⲏⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ
even when we were dead in our transgressions—made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥⲛ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲑⲙⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ϩⲛ ⲙⲡⲏⲩⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ
and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7 ⲍ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲉⲧⲛⲏⲩ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲙⲛⲧⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲭⲣⲏⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ (aiōn )
in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, through His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
8 ⲏ̅ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲛϩⲉⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲉⲓⲕⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲧⲁⲉⲓⲟ ⲡⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉ
For by grace you have been saved, through the Faith—and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God—
9 ⲑ̅ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲁ ϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
not by works, so that no one may boast.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲉⲁϥⲥⲟⲛⲧⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲉϫⲛ ϩⲉⲛϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϣⲣⲡ ⲥⲃⲧⲱⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲉⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ
You see, we are His ‘poem’, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance in order that we should walk in them.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲥⲃⲃⲉ ϩⲛ ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲥⲃⲃⲉ ⲛϭⲓϫ ϩⲛ ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ
So then, remember that once you physical Gentiles—called ‘uncircumcision’ by the so-called ‘circumcision’ (that made in flesh with hands)—
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϫⲛ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟ ⲛⲁⲗⲗⲟⲧⲣⲓⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲧⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϣⲙⲙⲟ ⲉⲛⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲏⲧ ⲉⲙⲛⲧⲏⲧⲛ ϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟ ⲛⲁⲧⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ
that at that time you were apart from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲉⲧⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲭⲥ
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have come to be near through the blood of the Christ.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲣⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲁϥⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲗϫⲗ ⲧⲙⲛⲧϫⲁϫⲉ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one and broken down the barrier of separation—the law with its commandments and ordinances—
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲥϥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ϩⲛ ⲛⲇⲟⲅⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ
having abolished the enmity through His ‘flesh’, so as to mold the two [Jew and Gentile] into one new man in Himself (thus making peace),
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥϩⲟⲧⲡⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧϫⲁϫⲉ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ
and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross (by which He killed the enmity).
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲁϥⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲍⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲏⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ
He came and proclaimed peace to us, being both far and near,
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲙⲡϩⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ
because through Him we both have access to the Father, by one Spirit.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲙⲙⲟ ⲁⲛ ϭⲉ ϩⲓⲣⲙ ⲛϭⲟⲓⲗⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛ ⲛⲣⲙⲛϯⲙⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲣⲙⲛⲏⲉⲓ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God's household,
20 ⲕ̅ ⲉⲁⲩⲕⲉⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲥⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲟⲛⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲕⲟⲟϩ
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone;
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡⲕⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ϣⲱⲛⲃ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲉϥⲁⲩⲝⲁⲛⲉ ⲉⲩⲣⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ϩⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲕⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱϩ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ
in whom you also are being built together to become a habitation of God in spirit.
