1 ⲁ̅ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ⲛⲁⲡⲓⲗⲏ ϩⲓ ϩⲱⲧⲃ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥϯ ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ
Meanwhile Saul, still exhaling murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ϣⲁ ⲛⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲧϥⲛⲁϩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϩⲓⲟⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲉϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲏⲣ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ
and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he should find any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲥⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ϣⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
So it happened, as he was going, that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him;
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϩⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉⲁϩⲣⲟⲕ ⲕⲡⲏⲧ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ
and falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
5 ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲕ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲡⲏⲧ ⲛⲥⲱϥ
So he said, “Who are you, Lord?” So the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting;
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲉⲁⲁϥ
but get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
7 ⲍ̅ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲉⲩⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϣ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ
The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the sound but seeing no one.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲇⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ
Then Saul got up from the ground, and upon opening his eyes he saw no one; so leading him by the hand they brought him into Damascus.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁϥⲣϣⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡϥⲥⲱ
He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲣⲟⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias, and the Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” So he said, “Here I am, Lord.”
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲫⲓⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲛⲅϣⲓⲛⲉϩⲙ ⲡⲏⲓ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲟⲩⲣⲙⲧⲁⲣⲥⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲉϥϣⲗⲏⲗ
So the Lord said to him: “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas inquire by name for Saul of Tarsus; because, you see, he is praying,
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲉϫⲱϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and placing a hand on him, so that he might recover his sight.”
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲛⲧⲛ ϩⲁϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣϩⲁϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲕⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ
But Ananias answered: “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how many evil things he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲉⲙⲟⲩⲣ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ
Moreover here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who are calling on Your name.”
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲥⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϥⲓ ϩⲁ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲛϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲏⲗ
But the Lord said to him: “Get moving, because this man is a chosen vessel to me, to carry my name before nations and kings, also the children of Israel;
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲛϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲉⲧϥⲛⲁϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ
for I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake.”
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲛⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲉϫⲛ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲟⲛ ⲡϫⲟⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲛⲛⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲉⲧⲕⲛⲏⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲕⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲅⲙⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ
So Ananias went and entered the house, and placing his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me so that you may recover your sight and be filled by Holy Spirit.”
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲃⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲥⲙⲁ
Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he recovered his sight forthwith; and getting up he was baptized,
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁϥϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ
and upon receiving food he was strengthened. So Saul was with the disciples in Damascus for a number of days.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲕⲩⲣⲏⲥⲥⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ ϩⲛ ⲛⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
Immediately he started proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues, that He is the Son of the God.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲡⲱϣⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲙⲡⲁⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲣⲁⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲛⲛⲟⲟⲩϥ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲏⲣ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ
Well, all who heard him were astounded and started saying: “Isn't this the one who tried to destroy, in Jerusalem, those who called on this name? Even here he had come with that purpose, that he might take them bound to the high priests.”
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥϣⲧⲟⲣⲧⲣ ⲛⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ
But Saul kept growing stronger and kept on confounding the Jews who lived in Damascus, proving that ‘This One is the Christ.’
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩϫⲓ ϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲃⲉϥ
Now when a good many days had passed, the Jews plotted to kill him;
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉⲩϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲙⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
but their plot became known to Saul. They started watching the gates day and night, so that they might kill him;
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲗⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲥⲟⲃⲧ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲓⲣ ⲛⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ
so the disciples took him by night and passed him through the wall, lowering him in a hamper.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲧⲟϭϥ ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲣ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ
Now upon arriving in Jerusalem Saul kept trying to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲛ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲓⲥ
But Barnabas took him in tow and brought him to the apostles, and described to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken fearlessly in the name of the Lord Jesus.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲛⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲓⲗⲏⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
So he was with them in Jerusalem, going in and out, and speaking fearlessly in the name of Jesus.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲛⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϯⲧⲱⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲉⲓⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲃⲉϥ
He kept on speaking and debating with the Hellenists, so they started trying to kill him.
30 ⲗ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲧϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲕⲁⲓⲥⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩϥ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲥⲟⲥ
Upon finding it out, the brothers brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲥⲁⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲩⲕⲱⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲛ ⲑⲟⲧⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲟⲡⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲥⲁϣⲁⲓ
So then the congregations throughout all Judea and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace and were built up; and proceeding in the fear of the Lord and in the enabling of the Holy Spirit they were being multiplied.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ϣⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ ⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ
Now it happened, as Peter went through all those parts, that he also went down to the saints who were living in Lydda.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϩⲉ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲛⲁⲓⲁⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲣϣⲙⲟⲩⲛⲉ ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲏϭⲉϥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲗⲟϭ
And there he found a certain man named Aeneas who was paralyzed—he had been lying on a pallet for eight years.
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥϭⲱϣⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲓⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟⲕ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅⲡⲱⲣϣ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ
Peter said to him: “Aeneas, Jesus the Messiah is healing you. Get up and make your bed!” And immediately he stood up!
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ ⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲥⲁⲣⲱⲛⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
All who were living in Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲓⲟⲡⲡⲏ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲃⲓⲑⲁ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲟⲣⲕⲁⲥ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲥϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉ ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ϩⲓ ⲙⲛⲧⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ
Now there was a certain disciple in Joppa named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds that she kept doing.
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲥϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲕⲙⲉⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲕⲁⲁⲥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲡⲉ
But it happened in those days that she took sick and died; so when they had washed her they placed her in the upper room.
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ ⲉⲣⲉⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ ⲇⲉ ϩⲏⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲓⲟⲡⲡⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡⲥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣϫⲛⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲛ
Now Lydda was near Joppa; the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent to him imploring him not to delay in coming to them.
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲉⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉϩⲉⲛϣⲧⲏⲛ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲥⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲇⲟⲣⲕⲁⲥ
So Peter got up and went with them; upon arriving they took him up to the upper room; all the widows stood around him weeping and showing the coats and garments that Dorcas was making while she was with them.
40 ⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲗϫ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲡⲁⲧ ⲁϥϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲁϥⲕⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲃⲓⲑⲁ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲛⲧⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ
So Peter put them all out, kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, get up!” So she opened her eyes, and upon seeing Peter she sat up.
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁϥϯⲧⲟⲟⲧⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲥⲟⲛϩ
Then he gave her a hand and lifted her up, and calling the saints and widows he presented her alive.
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲡⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲓⲟⲡⲡⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϭⲱ ⲛϩⲁϩ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲓⲟⲡⲡⲏ ϩⲁⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲁ ϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲃⲁⲕϣⲁⲁⲣ
So it was that he stayed many days in Joppa with a certain Simon, a tanner.
