1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ϩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲓⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲓ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϫⲓⲥⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲏ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲉⲓϫⲱ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
And I, having come unto you, brethren, came — not in superiority of discourse or wisdom — declaring to you the testimony of God,
2 ⲃ̅ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲛⲥⲁⲓⲏⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲁⲩⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
for I decided not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified;
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧϭⲱⲃ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲧⲱⲧ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ
and I, in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling, was with you;
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲁⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲁⲛ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲓⲑⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲛⲁ ϩⲓ ϭⲟⲙ
and my word and my preaching was not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power —
5 ⲉ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲓ ⲑⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ϩⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲗⲉⲓⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲓⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲁ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲥϥ (aiōn g165)
And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age — of those becoming useless, (aiōn g165)
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ ⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲟⲣϫⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲑⲏ ⲛⲛⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲉⲡⲉⲛⲉⲟⲟⲩ (aiōn g165)
but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn g165)
8 ⲏ̅ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲉ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲁⲓⲱⲛ ⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲥ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ (aiōn g165)
which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified; (aiōn g165)
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲧⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁⲗⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲥⲃⲧⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲙⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
but, according as it hath been written, 'What eye did not see, and ear did not hear, and upon the heart of man came not up, what God did prepare for those loving Him — '
10 ⲓ̅ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ϭⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲟⲧϩⲧ ⲛⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲑⲏⲡ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
but to us did God reveal [them] through His Spirit, for the Spirit all things doth search, even the depths of God,
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲁ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲓ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧϥ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲛⲛⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
for who of men hath known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that [is] in him? so also the things of God no one hath known, except the Spirit of God.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲛϫⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲉⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲭⲁⲣⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛ
And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that [is] of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us,
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲛϯ ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲛ ϩⲉⲛϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲃ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲥ
which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing,
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲯⲩⲭⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲉϥϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲥⲟϭ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲁⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲱⲥ
and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know [them], because spiritually they are discerned;
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲁϥⲁⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
and he who is spiritual, doth discern indeed all things, and he himself is by no one discerned;
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲥⲟⲩⲛ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲧⲥⲉⲃⲉⲉⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲭⲥ
for who did know the mind of the Lord that he shall instruct Him? and we — we have the mind of Christ.
