Ϯ⳰ⲀⲠⲞⲔⲀⲖⲨⳘⲮⲒⲤ 4
1 ⲁ̅ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲏⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲟⲑⲙⲉⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲅⲝ ⲉⲥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲙⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ.
After these things, I looked and lo, a door was open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard, was as of a trumpet talking with me. It said, Come up hither; and I will show thee the things that must occur hereafter.
Instantly, I was in the Spirit: and lo, a throne was placed in heaven; and there was one seated on the throne.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲓⲁⲥⲡⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲇⲓⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯ⳿ⲓⲣⲓⲥ ⲉⲥⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲁⲣⲁⲕⲇⲟⲥ.
And he who sat, was like the appearance of a jasper-stone, and of a sardine sard, and of a rainbow of the clouds, round about the throne, in form as the appearance of emeralds.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲕⲧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϭⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲱⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲃϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉⲩⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
Around the throne were twenty and four seats; and upon those seats sat twenty and four Elders, who were clothed in white robes, and on whose heads were coronets of gold.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲉⲧⲉⲃⲣⲏϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛⲗⲁⲙⲡⲁⲥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉⲩⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲍ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉ.
And from the throne proceeded lightnings, and the sound of thunders; and seven lamps of fire were burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁϫⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϥ⳿ⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲁⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁⲗ ϩⲓ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲓⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ.
And before the throne, as it were a sea of glass like crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and around it, and before the throne, were four Animals, full of eyes in their front and in their rear.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲉϥⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲃ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲅ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϩⲟ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲇ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁϧⲱⲙ ⲉϥϩⲏⲗ.
And the first Animal resembled a lion; and the second Animal resembled a calf; and the third Animal had a face like a man; and the fourth Animal resembled an eagle when flying.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲉⲃ ⲥⲁϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲫϯ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ.
And these four Animals had, each of them, six wings around it: and within they were full of eyes: and they have no cessation, day or night, from saying: Holy, Holy, Holy, the Lord God, the Omnipotent, who was, and is, and is to come.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲓⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲁⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲁⲓϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn g165)
And when these Animals give glory and honor and praise to him that sitteth on the throne, to him who liveth for ever and ever, (aiōn g165)
10 ⲓ̅ ϣⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲟ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁⲩⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. (aiōn g165)
the twenty and four Elders fall down before him who sitteth on the throne, and they worship him who liveth for ever and ever; and they cast their coronets before the throne, saying, (aiōn g165)
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ Ⲡ⳪ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϫⲟⲙ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁⲕ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲛⲧ
Worthy art thou, O Lord our God, the Holy, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and by thee they exist; and because of thy pleasure they had being and were created.
