1 ⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲗϩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲓⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲥ ϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲗⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲓⲟⲩ.
And ther appered a gret wonder in heve A woman clothed with the sunne and the mone vnder her fete and apon her heed a croune of xii. starres.
And she was wt chylde and cryed travayllinge in byrth and payned redy to be delyvered.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲉⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲓ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲗⲟⲙ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
And ther appered another wonder in heven for beholde a gret red drago havynge. vii. heddes and ten hornes and crounes vpo his heddes:
4 ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲁⲧ ⲁϥⲱϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲫⲣⲉⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲟⲙⲕϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ.
and his tayle drue the thyrde parte of the starres and cast them to the erth. And the dragon stode before the woman which was reddy to be delyvred: for to devoure her chylde as sone as it were borne.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲃⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ϩⲁ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ.
And she brought forth a man chylde which shulde rule all nacions with a rode of yron And her sonne was taken vp vnto God and to his seate.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲥⲫⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫϯ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲛϥ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ.
And the woman fleed into wyldernes where she had a place prepared of god that they shulde fede her there a M. ii. C and lx. dayes.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲙⲓⲭⲁⲏⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ.
And ther was grett battayll in heven Michael and his angells fowght with the dragon and the dragon fowght and his angelles
and prevaylled not: nether was their place founde eny more in heven.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϥ ⳿ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲉⲟⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
And the grett dragon that olde serpent called the devyll and Sathanas was cast out. Which desceaveth all the worlde. And he was cast into the erth and his angelles were cast out also.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁ ⲡⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲭ͞ⲣⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ.
And I harde a lowde voyce sayinge: in heve is nowe made salvacio and strengthe and ye kyngdome of oure God and the power of his Christ For he is cast doune which accused them before god daye and nyght.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϭⲣⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲓⲏⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ.
And they overcame him by the bloude of the lambe and by the worde of their testimony and they loved not their lyves vnto the deeth.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ϫⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
Therfore reioyce hevens and ye that dwell in them. Woo to the inhabiters of the erth and of the see: for ye devyll is come doune vnto you which hath greet wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short tyme.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁϥϭⲟϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
And when the dragon sawe that he was caste vnto the erth he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man chylde.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϩ ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁ ⲟⲩⲁϧⲱⲙ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥϩⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧⲫⲁϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⳿ⲡϩⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϩⲟϥ.
And to the woman were geven two wynges of a great egle that she myght flye into the wyldrenes into her place where she is norysshed for a tyme tymes and halffe a tyme from the presence of the sarpent.
And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman as it had bene a ryver because she hulde have bene caught of the floud.
And the erth holpe the woman and the erth opened her mouth and swalowed vp the rever which the dragon cast out of hys mouth.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅
And the dragon was wroth with the woman: and went and made warre with the remnaunt of hyr sede which kepe the commaundmentes of god and have the testimony of Iesus Christe. And I stode on the see sonde.
