1 ⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁϣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲃⲱⲧ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲛⲕ ϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ⳿ⲛⲉⲣϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
Then was giuen me a reede, like vnto a rod, and the Angel stoode by, saying, Rise and mete the Temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲁⲩⲗⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ϩⲓⲧⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϣⲓⲧⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϩⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲥ ⳿ⲛⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲧ.
But the court which is without the temple cast out, and mete it not: for it is giuen vnto the Gentiles, and the holy citie shall they treade vnder foote, two and fourtie moneths.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓ⳿ⲉϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲝ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲟⲕ ⲧⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲧⲟⲩ.
But I wil giue power vnto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecie a thousande two hundreth and threescore dayes, clothed in sackcloth.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯⲃⲱ ⳿ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲗⲩⲭⲛⲓⲁ ⳿ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲉⲩⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪.
These are two oliue trees, and two candlestickes, standing before the God of the earth.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲁⲓϥ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲁⲇⲓⲕⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ.
And if any man wil hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouthes, and deuoureth their enemies: for if any man would hurt the, thus must he be killed.
6 ⲋ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϣⲑⲁⲙ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ ⲙⲟⲩ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲣⲱ ⲟⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲫⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϣⲁⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣϧⲟⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ.
These haue power to shut heauen, that it raine not in the dayes of their prophecying, and haue power ouer waters to turne them into blood, and to smite the earth with all maner plagues, as often as they will.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲛϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϭⲣⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ. (Abyssos )
And when they haue finished their testimonie, the beast that commeth out of the bottomlesse pit, shall make warre against them, and shall ouercome them, and kill them. (Abyssos )
8 ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲑⲏϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ⲧⲓⲕⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲇⲟⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉϣ ⲡⲟⲩ⳪ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
And their corpses shall lie in the streetes of the great citie, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord also was crucified.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲗⲁⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ϣⲗⲟⲗ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲫⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲭⲁ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲉⲭⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
And they of the people and kinreds, and tongues, and Gentiles shall see their corpses three dayes and an halfe, and shall not suffer their carkeises to be put in graues.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲃ̅ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
And they that dwell vpon the earth, shall reioyce ouer them and be glad, and shall sende giftes one to an other: for these two Prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲫⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⲉⲥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ.
But after three dayes and an halfe, the spirit of life comming from God, shall enter into them, and they shall stande vp vpon their feete: and great feare shall come vpon them which sawe them.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲙⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ.
And they shall heare a great voyce from heauen, saying vnto them, Come vp hither. And they shall ascend vp to heauen in a cloude, and their enemies shall see them.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲫⲣⲉⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲁϥϩⲉⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ.
And the same houre shall there bee a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the citie shall fall, and in the earthquake shalbe slaine in nomber seuen thousande: and the remnant were sore feared, and gaue glorie to the God of heauen.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲥⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲅ̅ ⳿ϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ.
The second woe is past, and beholde, the third woe will come anon.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲑⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲭ͞ⲣⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn )
And the seuenth Angell blewe the trumpet, and there were great voyces in heauen, saying, The kingdomes of this worlde are our Lordes, and his Christes, and he shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn )
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲉⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲟ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ.
Then the foure and twentie Elders, which sate before God on their seates, fell vpon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ Ⲡ⳪ ⲫϯ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲭⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕϭⲓ ⳿ⲛϯϫⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ.
Saying, We giue thee thankes, Lord God almightie, Which art, and Which wast, and Which art to come: for thou hast receiued thy great might, and hast obteined thy kingdome.
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩϫⲱⲛⲧ ϫⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲕⲣⲏⲥⲓⲥ ⳿ⲉϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲃⲉⲭⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲕ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
And the Gentiles were angrie, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they shoulde be iudged, and that thou shouldest giue reward vnto thy seruants the Prophets, and to the Saintes, and to them that feare thy Name, to small and great, and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯⲕⲩⲃⲱⲧⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲉⲧⲉⲃⲣⲏϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫⲉ
Then the Temple of God was opened in heauen, and there was seene in his Temple the Arke of his couenant: and there were lightnings, and voyces, and thundrings, and earthquake, and much haile.
