1 ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲥ⳿ⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲃⲓⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲁⲧⲟⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϩⲟ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲓⲁϩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ.
For the Administration of Heaven will resemble the conduct of a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲥⲉⲙⲛⲏⲧⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲓⲁϩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ.
Having agreed with some for a denarius a-day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲁϫⲡ ⲅ̅ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲓ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲟⲣⲁ ⲉⲩⲕⲟⲣϥ.
About the third hour he went out, and seeing others unemployed in the market place,
4 ⲇ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲓⲁϩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ.
said to them, Go you likewise into my vineyard, and I will give you what is reasonable. Accordingly they went.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲁϫⲡ ⲋ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲁϫⲡ ⲑ̅ ⲁϥ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ.
Again, about the sixth hour, and about the ninth, he went out and did the same.
6 ⲋ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲁϫⲡ ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁϥϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁϧⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲟⲣϥ.
Lastly, about the eleventh hour, he went out, and finding others standing, said to them, Why do you stand here all the day doing nothing?
7 ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲧⲁϩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲃⲉⲭⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲓⲁϩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ.
They answered, Because no person has hired us. He said to them, Go you also into my vineyard, and you shall receive what is reasonable.
8 ⲏ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ ⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ⲇⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲁϩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲧⲣⲟⲡⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲃⲉⲭⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲁⲕⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϧⲁⲉⲩ ϣⲁ ⲛⲓϩⲟⲩⲁϯ.
When it was night, the proprietor of the vineyard said to his steward, Call the laborers, and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, and ending with the first.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲁ ϯⲁϫⲡ ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ.
Then they who had been hired at the eleventh hour came, and received each a denarius.
10 ⲓ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓϩⲟⲩⲁϯ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ.
When the first came, they imagined they should receive more; but they got only a denarius a-piece.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩϭⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲛⲉⲃⲓⲟϩⲓ.
Upon receiving it, they murmured against the householder,
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓϧⲁⲉⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲩⲁⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲩⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩϥⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲕⲁⲩⲥⲱⲛ.
saying, These last have worked but one hour; yet you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ϯϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲑⲉⲣⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲉⲙⲛⲏⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ.
He answering, said to one of them, Friend, I do you no injury. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲫⲱⲕ ⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲕ ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲏϯ.
Take what is yours, and depart. It is my will to give to this last as much as to you.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ϣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲁⲗ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⳿ϥϩⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ.
And may not I do what I will with my own? Is your eye evil, because I am good?
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲓϧⲁⲉⲩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲉⲣϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ.
Thus the last shall be first, and first last; for there are many called, but few chosen.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲧⲱϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ.
When Jesus was on the road to Jerusalem, he took the twelve aside, and said to them,
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ Ⲡ̇ϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲪ̇ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ.
We are now going to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man shall be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes, who will condemn him to die,
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲁϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲧⲱⲛϥ.
and deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked, and scourged, and crucified; but the third day he will rise again.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲌⲉⲃⲉⲇⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ.
Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to him with her sons, and, prostrating herself, entreated he would grant the request she had to make.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁϫⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁ ⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲥⲁ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲁϭⲏ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ.
He said to her, What do you wish? She answered, That, in your Reign, one of these my two sons may sit at your right hand, the other at your left.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲱ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲥⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⳿ⲉϯⲛⲁⲥⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉϯⲛⲁⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲛⲉⲙⲥ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ.
Jesus replying, said, You know not what you ask. Can you drink such a cup as I must drink? They said to him, We can.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲥⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲁⲧⲁⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲁϫⲁϭⲏ ⲫⲱⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲏ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ.
He answered, You shall indeed drink such a cup. But to sit on my right hand, and at my left, I can not give, unless to those for whom it is prepared by my Father.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲉ ⲓ̅ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲟⲛ ⲃ̅.
The then, hearing this, were full of indignation against the two brothers;
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲉⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ.
but Jesus, calling them to him, said, You know that the Princes of the nations domineer over them, and the great exercise their authority upon them.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏⲑⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ ⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ ⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
It must not be so amongst you: on the contrary, whosoever would become great amongst you, let him be your servant;

and whosoever would be chief amongst you, let him be your slave:

even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ Ⲓⲉⲣⲓⲭⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏϣ.
As they left Jericho, followed by a great multitude,

two blind men, who sat by the way-side, hearing that Jesus passed by cried, saying, Master, Son of David, have pity on us.

The multitude charged them to be silent: but they cried the louder, saying, Master, Son of David, have pity on us.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
Then Jesus stopping, called them, and said, What do you want me to do for you?

They answered, Sir, to make us see.

Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. Immediately they received sight, and followed him.
