1 ⲁ̅ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲱⲛⲓ ϫⲉ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲃⲏⲑⲁⲛⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡϯⲙⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲧⲉⲥⲥⲱⲛⲓ.
BUT a certain man was sick, Loozar, of the village Bethania: (he was) the brother of Mariam and of Martha.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲛⲉ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲑⲁϩⲥ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲟϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϥⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥϭ ⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲥϥⲱⲓ ⲑⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲥⲥⲟⲛ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ϣⲱⲛⲓ.
It was that Mariam who anointed with balsam the feet of Jeshu, and wiped (them) with her hair, whose brother this Loozar was who was sick.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲓⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲕⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ϥϣⲱⲛⲓ.
And his two sisters sent unto Jeshu, saying, Our Lord, he whom thou lovest is sick.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲓⲁⲃⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲁⲃⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲥ.
But Jeshu said, This sickness is not of death, but for the glory of Aloha, that the Son of Aloha may be glorified on account of it.
5 ⲉ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲧⲉⲥⲥⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ.
But Jeshu loved Martha and Mariam and Loozar.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲃ̅.
And when he heard that he was sick, he remained in the place where he was two days.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲓⲟⲩⲇⲉ⳿ⲁ ⲟⲛ.
And afterwards he saith to his disciples, Come, we will go again into Jihud.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲣⲁⲃⲃⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⳿ⲭⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁⲩ.
His disciples say to him, Raban, now have the Jihudoyee sought to stone thee; and again goest thou thither?
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁϥϭⲓϭⲣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
Jeshu saith to them, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If a man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world;
10 ⲓ̅ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ϣⲁϥϭⲓϭⲣⲟⲡ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲛ.
but if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because no light is in him.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲁϥ⳿ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲓ⳿ⲉϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ.
These spake Jeshu; and afterwards he said to them, Loozar our friend reposeth; but I go to awake him.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲧⲱⲛϥ.
His disciples say to him, Our Lord, if he sleep he is healed.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲓⲛⲓⲙ.
But Jeshu spake concerning his death; and they thought that concerning the repose of sleep he spake.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϫⲉ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ.
Then said Jeshu to them explicatively, Loozar is dead.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲛ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ.
And I am glad I was not there for your sakes, that you may believe. But let us walk thither.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲇⲓⲇⲩⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
Thoma, who is called the Twin, saith to his fellow-disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥϫⲉⲙϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲇ̅ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
And Jeshu came to Bethania, and found that he had been four days in the house of burial.
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲃⲏⲑⲁⲛⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥϧⲉⲛⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲧⲁⲇⲓⲟⲛ.
Now Bethania was nigh to Urishlem, being a distance from it of about fifteen stadia.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲡⲉ ϩⲁ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲥⲟⲛ.
And many of the Jihudoyee had come to Martha and Mariam, that they might speak to their hearts concerning their brother.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲥⲧⲱⲛⲥ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲁϥ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲏⲓ.
Then Martha, when she heard that Jeshu had come, went forth to meet him; but Mariam sat in the house.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲕⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ.
And Martha said to Jeshu, My Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ϯ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ.
But even now know I that whatsoever thou wilt ask of Aloha, he giveth to thee.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲥⲟⲛ.
Jeshu saith to her, Thy brother ariseth.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϯ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲧⲱⲛϥ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϧⲁ⳿ⲉ.
Martha saith to him, I know that he ariseth in the resurrection at the last day.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ϯ ⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲱⲛϧ.
Jeshu saith to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life; and (he) who believeth in me, although he will die, shall live.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲧⲉⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁⲓ. (aiōn )
And every one who liveth and believeth in me, for ever shall not die. Believest thou this? (aiōn )
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯ ⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
She saith to him, Yes, my Lord; I believe that thou art the Meshicha, the Son of Aloha, who cometh into the world.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲥϫⲟϥ ⲁⲥϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲧⲉⲥⲥⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲡ ⳿ⲉⲁⲥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲧⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟ.
And when she had said these, she went, called Mariam her sister in secret, and said to her, Our Master hath come, and calleth for thee.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁⲥⲧⲱⲛⲥ ⳿ⲛ ⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ.
When Mariam heard, she arose quickly, and came to him.
30 ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏ ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϯⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
But Jeshu himself had not yet come into the village, but was in that place where Martha met him.
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲏⲓ ⲉⲩⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲥϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲧⲱⲛⲥ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥ⳿Ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲛⲁϩⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
But those Jihudoyee who were also with her in the house to console her, when they saw that Mariam rose up hastily to go forth, went themselves after her; for they thought that to the sepulchre she went to weep.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲥϩⲓⲧⲥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲕⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ.
But she, Mariam, when she was come where Jeshu was, and saw him, fell down at his feet, saying, If thou hadst been here, my Lord, my brother had not died.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ.
But Jeshu, when he saw her weeping, and those Jihudoyee who came with her weeping, he was moved in his spirit, and was troubled,
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲭⲁϥ ⲑⲱⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ.
and said, Where have you laid him? And they said to him, Our Lord, come and see.
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ϯⲉⲣⲙⲏ.
And the tears of Jeshu came.
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ϥⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
And the Jihudoyee said, See how he loved him!
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲓⲥⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲭⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲭⲉⲧ ⳿ⲉⲙⲟⲩ.
But some of them said, Could not this who opened the eyes of that blind have caused also that this should not have died?
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛⲱⲛⲓ ⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
Jeshu, groaning within himself, came to the house of burial; and that house of burial was a cave, and a stone was laid at the gate of it.
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϣⲱⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲧⲥⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁϥⲭⲱⲛⲥ ⲡⲉϥⲇ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲫⲟⲟⲩ.
And Jeshu said, Take up this stone. Martha, the sister of him (who was) dead, saith to him, My Lord, he now stinketh; for four days are to him.
40 ⲙ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲧⲉⲣⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ.
Jeshu said to her, Said I not to thee, that if thou wilt believe, thou shalt see the glory of Aloha?
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓ ⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϥⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ϯϣⲉⲡ ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ.
And they took up the stone. And Jeshu lifted his eye upward, and said, Father, I give thanks to thee that thou hast heard me;
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲕⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲧⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲕⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ.
and I know that at all times thou hearest me: yet, because of this assembly which standeth, I say these (words), that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲗⲁⲍⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
And when he had said these (words), he cried with a high voice, Loozar, come without!
44 ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲙⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲉⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲙⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲇⲁⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϯⲟⲩⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲭⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ.
And he, the dead, came forth, his hands and his feet being bound with bandages, and his face in a linen cloth. Jeshu saith to them, Release him, and let (him) go.
45 ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
And many of the Jihudoyee who came with Mariam, when they saw the thing which Jeshu did, believed on him.
46 ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
And some of them went to the Pharishee, and told them every thing that Jeshu had done.
47 ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
AND the chief priests and Pharishee assembled, and said, What shall we do? because this man doeth many signs;
