1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉϣⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲉⲛ ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
For every high-priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;
2 ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉϣⲉⲡ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲧ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ϥⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲱⲛⲓ.
being able to be forbearing toward the ignorant and the erring, since he himself also is compassed with infirmity;
3 ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲥⲉ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉϣⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲁ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
and by reason of this infirmity he must, as for the people, so also for himself, offer sacrifice for sins.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϭⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥⲑⲱϩⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁ⳿ⲁⲣⲱⲛ.
And no one taketh this honor to himself, but when called by God, as was Aaron.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥϯⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓ⳿ϫⲫⲟⲕ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ.
Thus Christ did not glorify himself to be made high-priest, but he who said to him, “Thou art my Son, I this day have begotten thee;”
6 ⲋ̅ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲕⲉⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲏⲃ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ. (aiōn g165)
as also he saith in another place, “Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn g165)
7 ⲍ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϯϩⲟ ϩⲁ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ϧⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲟⲣ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲣⲙⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧϩⲟϯ.
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears, to him that was able to save him from death, and was heard by reason of his godly reverence,
8 ⲏ̅ ⲕⲉⲡⲉⲣ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ.
though a son yet learned his obedience from what he suffered;
9 ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōnios g166)
and being perfected became the author of everlasting salvation to all who obey him, (aiōnios g166)
10 ⲓ̅ ⳿ⲉⲁ ⲫϯ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ.
being addressed by God as high-priest after the order of Melchizedek.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
Of whom we have much to say, and hard to be explained, seeing ye have become dull of hearing.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲥ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲣⲉϥϯ ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲭⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲥⲧⲟⲓⲭⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲭⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϧⲣⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲣ ⲁⲛ.
For while on account of the length of time ye ought to be teachers, ye again have need that some one should teach you the first elements of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥϧⲉⲧϧⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ.
For every one that feedeth on milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness; for he is a babe;
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ϯ⳿ϧⲣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲣ ⲑⲁ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲗⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲧⲟⲩϩⲉⲝⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲥⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϧⲉⲧϧⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϫⲓⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ
but solid food belongs to those who are of full age, who by use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
