1 ⲁ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲏⲡⲟⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣϧⲁ⳿ⲉ.
Then let us fear, lest at some time, the promise to enter into his rest having been left, some of you may appear to have come short.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲑⲏⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
For we truly have had the gospel preached unto us, as they did also: but the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith to those hearing.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲱⲣⲕ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁϫⲱⲛⲧ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲕⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲏ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲕⲁⲧⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
For we who have believed, do enter into rest: as he has said, As I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest: the works truly having been from the foundations of the world.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
For he somewhere has spoken thus in reference to the seventh day, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ.
And in this again he has said, They shall not enter into my rest.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ϥⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ.
Then since it remains that some do enter into it, and those formerly having had the gospel preached unto them did not enter in on account of unbelief,
7 ⲍ̅ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⳿ϥⲑⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϣⲟⲣⲡ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϯⲉⲛϣⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ.
again he appoints a certain day, saying in David, as has previously been said, This day, after so long a time; If you may hear his voice this day, harden not your hearts.
8 ⲏ̅ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉ ⲁ ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲕⲉⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not speak concerning another day after these things.
9 ⲑ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲓⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
Therefore there is a sabbatism left for the people of God.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϥ.
For the one having entered into his rest has ceased from his works, as God did from his own.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲓⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϩⲉⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
Therefore let us hasten to enter into that rest, lest some one may fall by the same example of unbelief.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ϥⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥϣⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟ ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϣⲁ ⲡⲓⲫⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲧⲕⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲓⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ.
For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and a quick discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲛⲧ ϩⲏⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⲥⲉⲃⲏϣ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲁⲣⲁⲃ ⲛⲁϩⲃⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲫⲉϩ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
And no creature is hidden in his presence: but all things are naked and have been laid open to the eyes of him to whom the word is unto us.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲥⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
Therefore having a great high priest, having entered into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the testimony.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϭⲛⲉ ⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched with our infirmities; but one having been tempted as to all things like unto us, apart from sin.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲩⲉⲩⲕⲉⲣⲓⲁ ⳿ⲙⲃⲟ⳿ⲏⲑⲓⲁ
Therefore let us draw nigh with confidence to a throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace in every opportune need.
