1 ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲁϣⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲉⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲛⲓϩⲉⲃⲣⲉⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲩϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲏⲣⲁ.

2 ⲃ̅ ⲁ ⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲣⲁⲛⲁⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲛⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ.
And the twelue clepiden togidere the multitude of disciplis, and seiden, It is not ryytful, that we leeuen the word of God, and mynystren to boordis.
3 ⲅ̅ ϫⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϧⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲟⲫⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲭⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲭⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ.
Therfor, britheren, biholde ye men of you of good fame, ful of the Hooli Goost and of wisdom, whiche we schulen ordeyne on this werk;
for we schulen be bisi to preier, and preche the word of God.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲣⲁⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲧⲉⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲫⲓⲗⲓⲡⲡⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲭⲱⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲕⲁⲛⲱⲣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲁⲣⲙⲉⲛⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲡⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉⲙ⳿ⲧⲁⲛⲧⲓⲟⲭⲓ⳿ⲁ.
And the word pleside bifor al the multitude; and thei chesiden Styuen, a man ful of feith and of the Hooli Goost, and Filip, and Procore, and Nycanor, and Tymon, and Parmanam, and Nycol, a comelyng, a man of Antioche.
Thei ordeyneden these bifor the siyt of apostlis, and thei preyeden, and leiden hoondis on hem.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲁϣⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲧⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ.
And the word of the Lord wexide, and the noumbre of the disciplis in Jerusalem was myche multiplied; also myche cumpany of preestis obeiede to the feith.
8 ⲏ̅ ⳿ⲥⲧⲉⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲁϥ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
And Steuen, ful of grace and of strengthe, made wondris and grete signes in the puple.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲗⲓⲃⲉⲣⲧⲓⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲔⲩⲣⲓⲛⲛⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲣⲉⲙⲣⲁⲕⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲣⲉⲙ⳿ⲧⲕⲩⲗⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯ⳿ⲁⲥⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲉⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲥⲧⲉⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ.
But summe rysen of the synagoge, that was clepid of Libertyns, and Cirenensis, and of men of Alisaundre, and of hem that weren of Cilice and of Asie, and disputiden with Steuene.
And thei miyten not withstonde the wisdom and the spirit, that spak.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉⲘⲱ⳿ⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫϯ.
Thanne thei priueli senten men, that schulden seie, that thei herden hym seiynge wordis of blasfemye ayens Moises and God.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲟⲗⲙⲉϥ ⲁⲩⲉⲛϥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲡ.
And so thei moueden togidere the puple, and the eldre men, and the scribis; and thei rannen togidre, and token hym, and brouyten in to the counsel.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲟ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ.
And thei ordeyneden false witnessis, that seiden, This man ceessith not to speke wordis ayens the hooli place, and the lawe.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲓⲚⲁⲍⲱⲣⲉⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲃⲉⲗ ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲩⲛⲏⲑⲓⲁ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲙⲱ⳿ⲩⲥⲏⲥ.
For we herden hym seiynge, That this Jhesus of Nazareth schal destrye this place, and schal chaunge the tradiciouns, whiche Moyses bitook to us.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛϯϩⲁⲡ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϩⲟ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ.
And alle men that seten in the counsel bihelden hym, and sayn his face as the face of an aungel.
