And there were certain in Antioch, in the assembly there, prophets and teachers: both Barnabas, and Simeon who is called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen also—Herod the tetrarch’s foster-brother—and Saul;
2 ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϫⲉ ⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲑⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
and in their ministering to the LORD and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate to Me both Barnabas and Saul to the work to which I have called them,”
3 ⲅ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
then having fasted, and having prayed, and having laid the hands on them, they sent [them] away.
4 ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲥⲉⲗⲉⲩⲕⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉⲕⲩⲡⲣⲟⲥ.
These, indeed, then, having been sent forth by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus,
5 ⲉ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲥⲁⲗⲁⲙⲓⲛⲏⲛⲁⲩϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲉⲒⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥϣⲉⲙϣⲓ.
and having come to Salamis, they declared the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews, and they also had John [as] a servant;
6 ⲋ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲛ ϯⲛⲏⲥⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁⲫⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲭⲱ ⳿ⲙⲯⲉⲇⲟ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲃⲁⲣⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩ.
and having gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain magus, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name [is] Bar-Jesus;
7 ⲍ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲛⲑⲩⲡⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲣⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲕⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
who was with the proconsul Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man; this one having called for Barnabas and Saul, desired to hear the word of God,
8 ⲏ̅ ⲛⲁϥϯ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲉⲗⲩⲙⲁⲥ ⲡⲓⲁⲭⲱ ⳿ⲉϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉϥⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲫⲉⲛϩ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲛⲑⲩⲡⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ.
and there withstood them Elymas the magus—for so is his name interpreted—seeking to pervert the proconsul from the faith.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
And Saul—who also [is] Paul—having been filled with the Holy Spirit, and having looked steadfastly on him,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲱ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲓϫⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲕⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲕⲫⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪.
said, “O full of all guile, and all recklessness, son of a devil, enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the right ways of the LORD?
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⳿ⲧϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⲉⲥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲕ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲕⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏⲁⲛ ϣⲁ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲗⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲁϥⲕⲱϯ ⲉϥϣⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϯⲧⲟⲧϥ.
And now, behold, a hand of the LORD [is] on you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a season”; and instantly there fell on him a mist and darkness, and he, going around, was seeking some to lead [him] by the hand;
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲛⲑⲩⲡⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪.
then the proconsul having seen what has come to pass, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the LORD.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲫⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲁ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲣⲅⲏ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲡⲁⲙⲫⲓⲗⲓ⳿ⲁ Ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲫⲱⲣϫ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲕⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅.
And those around Paul having set sail from Paphos, came to Perga of Pamphylia, and John having departed from them, turned back to Jerusalem,
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲣⲅⲏⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲧⲁⲛϯⲟⲭⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲡⲓⲥⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϯⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲁⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ.
and they having gone through from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia, and having gone into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbaths, they sat down,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲁ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⳿ⲁϫⲟϥ.
and after the reading of the Law and of the Prophets, the chief men of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Men, brothers, if there be a word in you of exhortation to the people—say on.”
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲪϯ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
And Paul having risen, and having beckoned with the hand, said, “Men, Israelites, and those fearing God, listen:
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ Ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲟⲓⲕⲓ⳿ⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲬⲏⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲱⲃϣ ⲉϥϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ⳿ⲛⲏⲧϥ.
the God of this people Israel chose our fathers, and He exalted the people in their sojourning in the land of Egypt, and He brought them out of it with a high arm;
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲙ̅ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲡϣⲁϥⲉ.
and about a period of forty years He endured their conduct in the wilderness,
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲣⲱϧⲧ ⳿ⲛⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϣⲗⲱⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲭⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ ⲁϥ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲓ.
and having destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, He divided their land to them by lot.
20 ⲕ̅ ⳿ⲛⲩ̅ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲕⲣⲓⲧⲏⲥ ϣⲁ ⲥ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲩⲏⲗ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
And after these things, about four hundred and fifty years, He gave judges—until Samuel the prophet;
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲗ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲕⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲩⲗⲏ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲙ̅ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
and thereafter they asked for a king, and God gave to them Saul, son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years;
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲆⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲓⲉⲥⲥⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲏⲓ.
and having removed him, He raised up to them David for king, to whom also having testified, He said, I found David, the [son] of Jesse, a man according to My heart, who will do all My will.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡ⳿ϫⲣⲟϫ ⳿ⲙⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲁ Ⲫϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲠⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
Of this one’s seed, God, according to promise, raised to Israel a Savior—Jesus,
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ϧⲁϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅.
John having first preached, before His coming, an immersion of conversion to all the people of Israel;
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲧⲁ Ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲇⲣⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲓⲙ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲙ⳿ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲟⲩ⳿ⲱ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ.
and as John was fulfilling the course, he said, Whom do you suppose I am? I am not [He], but behold, He comes after me, of whom I am not worthy to loose the sandal of [His] feet.

Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and those among you fearing God, to you was the word of this salvation sent,
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲛⲏⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲉⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲧ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲕⲉ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϫⲟⲕⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
for those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their chiefs, having not known this One, also the voices of the Prophets, which are being read every Sabbath—having judged [Him]—fulfilled,
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲠⲓⲗⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ.
and having found no cause of death, they asked of Pilate that He should be slain,
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
and when they fulfilled all the things written about Him, having taken [Him] down from the tree, they laid Him in a tomb;
30 ⲗ̅ ⲫϯ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
and God raised Him out of the dead,
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϯⲄⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϣⲁ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
and He was seen for many days of those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲓⲟϯ.
And we proclaim good news to you—that the promise made to the fathers,
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲁ Ⲫϯ ϫⲟⲕϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲃ̅ ⳿ⲙⲯⲁⲗⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓ⳿ϫⲫⲟⲕ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ.
God has completed this in full to us their children, having raised up Jesus, as also in the second Psalm it has been written: You are My Son—I have begotten You today.
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲟⲧⲓ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓ⳿ⲉϯ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟⲧ.
And that He raised Him up out of the dead, to no longer return to corruption, He has said this: I will give to You the holy [blessings] of David [that are] faithful;
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⳿ϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲕⲉⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲕϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲕ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
for what reason He also says in another [place]: You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption;
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲅ⳿ⲉⲛⲉ⳿ⲁ ⲛⲁϥϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲁϥⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲓⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
for David, indeed, having served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption,
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ Ⲫϯ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
but He whom God raised up, did not see corruption.
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲭⲱ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲁ ⲛⲏⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲉⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲘⲱ⳿ⲩⲥⲏⲥ.
Let it therefore be known to you, men, brothers, that the forgiveness of sins is declared to you through this One,
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ⲥⲉⲛⲁ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲓⲟϥ.
and from all things in the Law of Moses from which you were not able to be declared righteous, everyone who is believing in this One is declared righteous;
40 ⲙ̅ ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲏ ⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
see, therefore, it may not come on you that has been spoken in the Prophets:
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲓⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲣⲓ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲕⲉⲧ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲁ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲫ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
See, you despisers, and wonder, and perish, because I work a work in your days, a work in which you may not believe, though anyone may declare [it] to you.”
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲁⲝⲓⲟⲓⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ.
And having gone forth out of the synagogue of the Jews, the nations were calling on [them] that on the next Sabbath these sayings may be spoken to them,
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲃⲱⲗ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲥⲉⲃⲉⲥⲑⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
and the synagogue having been dismissed, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were persuading them to remain in the grace of God.
44 ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲥⲭⲉⲇⲟⲛ ⳿ⲁ ϯⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
And on the coming Sabbath, almost all the city was gathered together to hear the word of God,
45 ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲭⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ.
and the Jews having seen the multitudes, were filled with zeal, and contradicted the things spoken by Paul—contradicting and slandering.
46 ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲉⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲡ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛ⳿⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲕⲟⲧⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ. (aiōnios g166)
And speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, “It was necessary that the word of God be first spoken to you, and seeing you thrust it away, and do not judge yourselves worthy of the continuous life, behold, we turn to the nations; (aiōnios g166)
47 ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲭⲁⲕ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϣⲁ ⲁⲩⲣⲏϫϥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ.
for so the LORD has commanded us: I have set you for a light of nations—for your being for salvation to the end of the earth.”
48 ⲙ̅ⲏ̅ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩϯ⳿ⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲑⲏϣ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛ⳿⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōnios g166)
And the nations hearing were glad, and were glorifying the word of the LORD, and believed—as many as were appointed to continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
49 ⲙ̅ⲑ̅ ⲛⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲭⲱⲣⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ.
and the word of the LORD was spread abroad through all the region.
50 ⲛ̅ ⲛⲓⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲟⲡϣⲉⲡ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϩⲓ⳿ⲟⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲥⲉⲃⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉⲩⲥⲭⲏⲙⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲟⲩⲁϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲇⲓⲱⲅⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲑⲱϣ.
And the Jews stirred up the devout and honorable women, and the first men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and put them out from their borders;
51 ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓϣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩ ϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲓⲕⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ.
and having shaken off the dust of their feet against them, they came to Iconium,
52 ⲛ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
and the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.
