1 ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲗⲁⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲁ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛϯ ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲓⲉⲣ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲙⲧ ⲉϥⲥⲉⲛⲥⲉⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲕⲩⲙⲃⲁⲗⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲉϣⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲉⲓⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛϯ ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲛ.
And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲟⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲕⲉⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛϯ ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛϯ ⲛⲁ ϫⲉⲙϩⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲛ.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 ⲇ̅ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϣⲁⲥ⳿ⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϣⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲉⲗϫⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲭⲟϩ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲉⲣⲡⲉⲣⲡⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥϭⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ.
Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 ⲉ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ.
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 ⲋ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥⲣⲁϣⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲉⲧϭⲓ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ϣⲁⲥⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 ⲍ̅ ϣⲁⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲥⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϣⲁⲥ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 ⲏ̅ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲥϩⲉⲓ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲱⲣϥ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲗⲁⲥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲗⲟϫⲟⲩ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲕⲱⲣϥ.
Charity never faileth: but whether [there are] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there are] languages, they shall cease; whether [there is] knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 ⲑ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲧⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲁⲡⲟⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲕⲱⲣϥ.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉⲓⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲉⲣⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲓⲕⲱⲣϥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁ ϯⲙⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲓⲁⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲟⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲟ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ϩⲟ ⲁⲓ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ϯⲛⲁ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲧ.
For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲅ̅ ⲥⲉ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲛⲧ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.
