1 ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲘⲎⲢ ⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲈⲦⲬⲰⲢⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲄⲈⲢⲄⲈⲤⲎⲚⲞⲤ
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϤϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ
And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3 ⲅ̅ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤⲘⲀⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲔⲈϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲤⲞⲚϨϤ
Who had [his] dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 ⲇ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲀⲨⲤⲞⲚϨϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲞⲠ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲠⲈⲆⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤⲰⲖⲠ ⲚⲚⲒϨⲀⲖⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϦⲞⲘϦⲈⲘ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲠⲈⲆⲎⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲢⲆⲀⲘⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ
Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any [man] tame him.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲈϪⲰⲢϨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲘϨⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϢⲰⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲰⲚⲒ.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϨⲒⲪⲞⲨⲈⲒ ⲀϤϬⲞϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ
But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
7 ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲤⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀϦⲞⲔ ⲚⲈⲘⲎⲒ ϨⲰⲔ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦϬⲞⲤⲒ ϮⲦⲀⲢⲔⲞ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϮϬⲖⲀⲔ ⲚⲎⲒ.
And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲀⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, [thou] unclean spirit.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲈⲔⲢⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲖⲈⲄⲒⲰⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ
And he asked him, What [is] thy name? And he answered, saying, My name [is] Legion: for we are many.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲬⲰⲢⲀ.
And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲚⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲈⲖⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲢⲒⲢ ⲈⲤⲞϢ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲤⲘⲞⲚⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ
Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒⲢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ
And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲀⲨϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲈϢⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϨⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲄⲈⲖⲎ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϪⲀϪⲢⲒⲘ ⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲈⲨⲈⲢ ϢⲞ ⲤⲚⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲰϪϨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲒⲞⲘ.
And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand; ) and were choked in the sea.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲨⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲪⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϪⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚϮⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲔⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ.
And they that fed the swine fled, and told [it] in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ϨⲀ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲈϤϨⲈⲘⲤⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲰⲤ ⲦⲞⲒ ϨⲒⲰⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤϨⲎⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲞϮ.
And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲒⲢⲒⲢ
And they that saw [it] told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and [also] concerning the swine.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞϢ
And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲀⲖⲎⲒ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ
And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲬⲀϤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈⲔⲎⲒ ϨⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲀⲦⲀⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈⲀϤⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲀⲔ
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲰⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲘⲎϮ ⲚϮⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲀϤⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ
And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all [men] did marvel.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲞⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲘⲎⲢ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲀⲨⲐⲰⲞⲨϮ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤⲞϢ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ⲠⲈ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ
And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲒⲀⲒⲢⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲀϤϨⲒⲦϤ ϦⲀⲢⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ
And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲦⲀϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲀⲤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲪⲘⲞⲨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲬⲀ ⲦⲈⲔϪⲒϪ ⲈϪⲰⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲤⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲤⲰⲚϦ
And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: [I pray thee], come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤⲞϢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲠⲈ.
And [Jesus] went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲀⲤⲈⲢ ⲒⲂ ⲚⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲚⲞϤ ϦⲀⲢⲞⲤ.
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϬⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲎⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϬⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈⲤϪⲈⲘϨⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲀⲤⲦϨⲞ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ.
And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲀⲤⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲪⲀϨⲞⲨ ⲀⲤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈϤϨⲂⲞⲤ
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲚⲀⲤϪⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲚ ⲀⲒϢⲀⲚϬ ⲒⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲰⲤ ϮⲚⲀⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ.
For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲤ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϪⲈϮⲘⲞⲨⲘⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲤⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲈⲘⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲤⲤⲰⲘⲀ ϪⲈ ⲀⲤⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ϮⲘⲀⲤⲦⲒⲄⲜ
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 ⲗ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲈⲘⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚϦⲢⲎ ⲒⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲈϮϪⲞⲘ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲪⲞⲚϨϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲀϨⲂⲰⲤ
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎ ⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲬⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲎⲒ.
And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ
And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ϮⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲤⲐⲈⲢⲦⲈⲢ ⲈⲤⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲤⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϨⲒⲦⲤ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲀⲢⲀⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲀϤ
But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲠⲈⲚⲀϨϮ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀϨⲘⲒ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲈϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎ ⲚⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲦⲈⲘⲀⲤⲦⲒⲄⲜ.
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲈⲦⲒ ⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲨⲒ ϨⲀ ⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲦⲈⲔϢⲈⲢⲒ ⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲈⲔϮϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ
While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s [house certain] which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲘⲞⲚⲞⲚ ⲚⲀϨϮ
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲬⲀ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲈϤⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲤⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ
And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲠⲎⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϢⲐⲈⲢⲐⲰⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲢⲒⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨϢⲖⲎⲖⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ.
And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲦⲈⲢⲐⲰⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲢⲒⲘⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲤⲚⲔⲞⲦ
And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 ⲙ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲰⲂⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤϨⲒ ⲠⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀϤⲰⲖⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲘⲪⲒⲰⲦ ⲚϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈⲤⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲬⲎ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦϪⲒϪ ⲚϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀⲖⲒⲐⲀ ⲔⲞⲨⲘ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲀⲒϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲞ ⲦⲰⲚⲒ
And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲤ ⲀⲤⲦⲰⲚⲤ ⲚϪⲈϮⲀⲖⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲀⲤϦⲈⲚ ⲒⲂ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ
And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was [of the age] of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎϢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϮⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲚⲀⲤ.
And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
