1 ⲁ̅ ⲦⲀⲢⲬⲎ ⲘⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
Beginning of the glad-message of Jesus Christ.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲎⲤⲀⲒⲀⲤ ⲠⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ϮⲚⲀⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲘⲠⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲠⲈⲔϨⲞ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲤⲞⲂϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲘⲰⲒⲦ ϦⲀϪⲰⲔ.
According as it is written in Isaiah the prophet—Lo! I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way, —
3 ⲅ̅ ⲠϦⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒ ⲠϢⲀϤⲈ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲂⲦⲈ ⲪⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲤⲞⲨⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ.
A voice of one crying aloud—In the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight, be making his paths.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲰⲘⲤ ϨⲒ ⲠϢⲀϤⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲘⲤ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲬⲰ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲚⲞⲂⲒ.
John the Immerser came, in the wilderness, proclaiming an immersion of repentance for remission of sins;
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲀ ϮⲒⲞⲨⲆⲈⲀ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲬⲰⲢⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲀ ⲒⲈⲢⲞⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲒⲞⲢⲆⲀⲚⲎ ⲤⲚⲒⲀⲢⲞ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.
and there were going out unto him all the Judaea country and all they of Jerusalem, and were being immersed by him in the Jordan river, openly confessing their sins;
6 ⲋ̅ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ϨⲀⲚϤⲰⲒ ⲚϬⲀⲘⲞⲨⲖ ⲦⲞⲒ ϨⲒⲰⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲘⲎⲢ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲞϪϦ ⲚϢⲀⲢ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲦⲈϤϮⲠⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲞⲨⲈⲘ ϢϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲒⲰ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲔⲞⲒ.
and John was clothed with camel’s-hair and a leathern girdle about his loins, and was eating locusts and wild honey;
7 ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ϤⲚⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲰⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϪⲞⲢ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈⲢⲞⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚϮⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲈϪⲞⲂⲤⲦ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϮⲞⲨⲰ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨⲤⲈⲢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲐⲰⲞⲨⲒ.
and he proclaimed, saying—He that is mightier than I cometh after [me], of whom I am not worthy to stoop and unloose the strap of his sandals:
8 ⲏ̅ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲈⲦⲀⲒϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ϤⲚⲀⲈⲘⲤ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲂ.
I, have immersed you, with water, —He, will immerse you, with the Holy Spirit.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲌⲀⲢⲈⲐ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲒⲞⲢⲆⲀⲚⲎ ⲤⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲚⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ
And it came to pass, in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed into the Jordan by John;
10 ⲓ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲈϤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲀⲨⲪⲰϦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰϤ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨϬⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ
And, straightway, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rending asunder, and, the Spirit, as a dove, descending unto him;
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲤⲘⲎ ⲚⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲠⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦ ⲈⲦⲀⲒϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ
and a voice [came] out of the heavens—Thou, art my Son, the Beloved, —In thee, I delight.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀϨⲒⲦϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲠϢⲀϤⲈ
And, straightway, the Spirit urgeth him forth into the wilderness;
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ⲠⲈ ϨⲒ ⲠϢⲀϤⲈ ⲚⲘⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈϪⲰⲢϨ ⲈϤⲈⲢⲠⲒⲢⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲤⲀⲦⲀⲚⲀⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲎ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲐⲎ ⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲨϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
and he was in the wilderness, forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts, —and, the messengers, were ministering unto him.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲐⲢⲞⲨϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ ⲈϤϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲪϮ
And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the glad-message of God,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϪⲰⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲚϪⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲢⲒⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲖⲒⲞⲚ.
[and saying]—The season is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God hath drawn near, —Repent ye, and have faith in the glad-message.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲀⲚⲆⲢⲈⲀⲤ ⲠⲤⲞⲚ ⲚⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲈⲨϨⲒ ϢⲚⲈ ⲚⲤⲒϮ ⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲈϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲈ.
And, passing by near the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea, —for they were fishers;
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲘⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ ⲚⲦⲀⲈⲢ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲢⲈϤⲦⲀϨⲈ ⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
and Jesus said unto them—Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲬⲀ ⲚⲒϢⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ
and, straightway, leaving the nets, they followed him.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲦϨⲎ ⲚⲔⲈⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲌⲈⲂⲈⲆⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϨⲒ ⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲈⲨⲤⲞⲂϮ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϢⲚⲎⲞⲨ
And, going forward a little, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, and them who were in the boat putting in order the nets;
20 ⲕ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲬⲀ ⲠⲞⲨⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲌⲈⲂⲈⲆⲈⲞⲤ ϨⲒ ⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲘⲒⲤⲐⲰⲦⲎⲤ ⲀⲨϢⲈⲚ ⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ
and, straightway, he called them, —and, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat, with the hired men, they came away after him.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲔⲀⲪⲀⲢⲚⲀⲞⲨⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ
And they journey into Capernaum. And, straightway, on the Sabbath, entering into the synagogue, he began teaching;
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲦⲈϤⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲀϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀϦ
and they were being struck with astonishment at his teaching, —for he was teaching them as one having authority, and, not as the Scribes.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϦⲈⲚϮⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ ⲈϤϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ
And, straightway, there was in their synagogue, a man in an impure spirit, —and he cried out aloud,
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϦⲞⲔ ⲚⲈⲘⲀⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲒⲢⲈⲘⲚⲀⲌⲀⲢⲈⲐ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲞⲚ ⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
saying—What have we in common with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, The Holy One of God.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲈⲠⲒⲦⲒⲘⲀⲚ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲐⲰⲘ ⲚⲢⲰⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ
And Jesus rebuked him, [saying]—Be silenced, and come forth out of him!
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲦⲈⲢⲐⲰⲢϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϦⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲰⲦϤ
And the impure spirit, tearing him, and calling out with a loud voice, came forth out of him;
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲤⲂⲰ ⲘⲂⲈⲢⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ϤⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲤⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲚⲀϤ
and they were amazed, one and all, so that they began to discuss among themselves, saying—What is this? New teaching! With authority, to the impure spirits also, he giveth orders, and they obey him!
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲦⲈϤⲤⲘⲎ ⲤⲰⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲠⲈⲢⲒⲬⲰⲢⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ.
And forth went the report of him, straightway, on every hand, into the surrounding country of Galilee.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲎⲒ ⲚⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲀⲚⲆⲢⲈⲀⲤ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ
And, straightway, out of the synagogue, going forth, he went unto the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 ⲗ̅ ⲦϢⲰⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲔⲞⲦ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲤϦⲎⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲨϪⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲐⲂⲎ ⲦⲤ.
Now, the mother-in-law of Simon, was lying in a fever, and, straightway, they speak to him concerning her;
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲀϤⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤⲤ ⲈⲀϤⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲤϪⲒϪ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲬⲀⲤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϦⲘⲞⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲤϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
and, coming near, he raised her up, grasping her hand, —and the fever left her, and she began ministering unto them.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲢⲞⲨϨⲒ ⲆⲈ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎ ϨⲰⲦⲠ ⲀⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲦϨⲈⲘⲔⲎ ⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ
And, evening arriving, when the sun went in, they were bearing unto him all who were sick, and them who were demonized;
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϮⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲀⲤⲐⲰⲞⲨϮ ϨⲒⲢⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲢⲞ.
and all the city was gathered unto the door;
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲪⲀϦⲢⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈⲨⲦϨⲈⲘⲔⲎ ⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲚϢⲰⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲒ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲬⲰ ⲚⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲈⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ
and he cured many that were sick with divers diseases, and, many demons, he cast out, and suffered not the demons to be talking, —because they knew him [to be Christ].
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲞⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚϢⲀϤⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ
And, very early by night arising, he went out [and departed] into a desert place, and, there, was praying;
36 ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϬⲞϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲚϪⲈⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ
and Simon, and they who were with him, went in quest of him,
37 ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϪⲈⲘϤ ⲠⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲔ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ
and found him, and say unto him—All, are seeking thee;
38 ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲚ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲀ ⲈⲚⲒⲔⲰⲘⲞⲠⲞⲖⲒⲤ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ϨⲰϤ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲠⲀⲒϨⲰⲂ.
and he saith unto them—Let us be going elsewhere, into the neighbouring country-towns, in order that, there also, I may be making proclamation, —for, to this end, came I forth;
39 ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ ϦⲈⲚϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲈϤϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ
and he came, making proclamation, into their synagogues, throughout the whole of Galilee, —and, was casting the demons out.
40 ⲙ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲔⲀⲔⲤⲈϨⲦ ⲈϤϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲈϤⲔⲈⲖⲒ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞⲒ
And there cometh unto him, a leper, beseeching him and [kneeling], —saying unto him—If thou be willing, thou canst cleanse me;
41 ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲀϤⲤⲞⲨⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈϤϪⲒϪ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ϮⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲀⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ.
and, moved with compassion, he stretched forth the hand, and touched him, and saith unto him—I am willing, Be cleansed!
42 ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀⲠⲒⲤⲈϨⲦ ϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲰⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ.
and, straightway, the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed;
43 ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲢⲈⲘⲢⲰⲘϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤϨⲒⲦϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ
and, strictly charging him, straightway, he urged him forth;
44 ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲦⲀⲘⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲘⲀⲦⲀⲘⲈ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲆⲰⲢⲞⲚ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲈⲔⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ.
and saith unto him—Mind! unto no one, say aught, —but withdraw, thyself, show unto the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what things Moses enjoined, for a witness unto them.
45 ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲤⲈⲢ ⲠⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲀϤϢⲞⲠ ⲠⲈ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲚϢⲀϤⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲚⲎⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲘⲀⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.
But, he, going forth, began to be proclaiming many things, and blazing abroad the story, so that, no longer, was it possible for him, openly, into a city, to enter, —but, outside, in desert places, [was he], and they were coming unto him from every quarter.
