1 ⲁ̅ ⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲤ ⲪⲂⲰⲔ ⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲤⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲒⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲐⲀϨⲈⲘ
IVde a seruaunt of Iesus Christ, and brother of Iames, to them which are called and sanctified of God the Father, and returned to Iesus Christ:
2 ⲃ̅ ⲪⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲀϢⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ
Mercie vnto you, and peace and loue be multiplied.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲤⲠⲞⲨⲆⲎ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϮⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲒⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲨⲤⲞⲠ ⲀⲤⲈⲢⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲎ ⲈⲢⲞⲒ ⲈⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈϮⲚⲞⲘϮ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲀⲄⲰⲚⲒⲌⲈⲤⲐⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲞⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϦⲀ ⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ
Beloued, when I gaue al diligece to write vnto you of the common saluation, it was needful for me to write vnto you to exhort you, that yee should earnestly contend for the maintenace of ye faith, which was once giuen vnto the Saintes.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲀⲨⲤⲀϦⲘⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲠⲀⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲈⲨϢⲒⲂϮ ⲘⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲞⲨⲤⲰϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲚⲎⲂ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦϤ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲨϪⲰⲖ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.
For there are certaine men crept in, which were before of olde ordeined to this condemnation: vngodly men they are which turne the grace of our God into wantonnesse, and denie God the onely Lord, and our Lord Iesus Christ.
5 ⲉ̅ ϮⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲐⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲤⲞⲠ ⲀⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲚⲬⲎⲘⲒ ⲪⲘⲀϨⲤⲞⲠ ⲆⲈ ⲂⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲀϤⲦⲀⲔⲰⲞⲨ
I wil therfore put you in remebrance, forasmuch as ye once knew this, how that the Lord, after that he had deliuered the people out of Egypt, destroied them afterward which beleeued not.
6 ⲋ̅ ϨⲀⲚⲔⲈⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲀⲢⲬⲎ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲨⲬⲰ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲘⲀⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϦⲀ ⲠⲬⲀⲔⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲤⲚⲀⲨϨ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ (aïdios )
The Angels also which kept not their first estate, but left their owne habitation, hee hath reserued in euerlasting chaines vnder darkenesse vnto the iudgement of the great day. (aïdios )
7 ⲍ̅ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲤⲞⲆⲞⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲄⲞⲘⲞⲢⲢⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲠⲞⲖⲒⲤ ⲈⲦⲔⲰϮ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢⲠⲞⲢⲚⲈⲨⲒⲚ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲀⲪⲀϨⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲔⲈⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲤⲈⲬⲎ ⲈⲨⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲬⲢⲰⲘ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϬⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲀⲠ (aiōnios )
As Sodom and Gomorrhe, and the cities about them, which in like maner as they did, committed fornication, and followed strange flesh, are set foorth for an ensample, and suffer the vengeance of eternall fire. (aiōnios )
8 ⲏ̅ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲞⲚ ⲚⲀⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲤⲈⲤⲰϤ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲤⲀⲢⲜ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲪⲰⲢ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲢⲀⲤⲞⲨⲒ ϮⲘⲈⲦϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈϢⲰϢϤ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲈϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ
Likewise notwithstanding these sleepers also defile the flesh, and despise gouernment, and speake euill of them that are in authoritie.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲘⲒⲬⲀⲎⲖ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲂⲈ ⲠⲒⲆⲒⲀⲂⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲘⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲈⲢⲦⲞⲖⲘⲀⲚ ⲈⲈⲚ ⲞⲨϨⲀⲠ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰϤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲠⲒⲦⲒⲘⲀⲚ ⲚⲀⲔ
Yet Michael the Archangell, when hee stroue against the deuill, and disputed about the body of Moses, durst not blame him with cursed speaking, but sayd, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲤⲈⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲤⲈϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲪⲨⲤⲒⲔⲰⲤ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲒⲦⲈⲂⲚⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲤⲈⲦⲀⲔⲎⲞⲨⲦ
But these speake euill of those thinges, which they know not: and whatsoeuer things they know naturally, as beasts, which are without reason, in those things they corrupt them selues.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ϨⲒ ⲪⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲪⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲤⲞⲢⲘⲈⲤ ⲘⲪⲂⲈⲬ ⲈⲘⲂⲀⲖⲀⲀⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲦⲀⲔⲞ ϦⲈⲚϮⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲞⲄⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲞⲢⲈ
Wo be vnto them: for they haue followed the way of Cain, and are cast away by the deceit of Balaams wages, and perish in the gainsaying of Core.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚⲀϬⲚⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦϨⲞϮ ϨⲀⲚϬⲎⲠⲒ ⲚⲀⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲐⲎ ⲞⲨ ϬⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲚϢϢⲎⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲐⲒⲚⲞⲠⲞⲢⲞⲚ ⲚⲈⲚⲀⲦⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲈⲀⲨⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲞⲠⲂ ⲈⲀⲨϤⲞϪⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒ
These are rockes in your feasts of charitie when they feast with you, without al feare, feeding themselues: cloudes they are without water, caried about of windes, corrupt trees and without fruit, twise dead, and plucked vp by ye rootes.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ϨⲀⲚϨⲰⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲀⲄⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲚⲈⲈⲨϨⲒⲤⲪⲎⲒϮ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲒⲠⲒ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲒⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲤⲞⲢⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲈⲨⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲠⲬⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲬⲈⲘⲤ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ (aiōn )
They are the raging waues of the sea, foming out their owne shame: they are wandring starres, to whome is reserued the blackenesse of darkenesse for euer. (aiōn )
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲈⲨⲒⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲌ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ⲀⲆⲀⲘ ⲈⲚⲰⲬ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲒⲤ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲀϤⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲐⲂⲀ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲦⲀϤ
And Enoch also the seuenth from Adam, prophecied of such, saying, Beholde, the Lord commeth with thousands of his Saints,
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲀⲠ ϦⲀ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲤⲞϨⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎ ⲤⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢⲦ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ
To giue iudgement against al men, and to rebuke all the vngodly among them of all their wicked deeds, which they haue vngodly committed, and of all their cruel speakings, which wicked sinners haue spoken against him.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲬⲢⲈⲘⲢⲈⲘ ⲚⲢⲈϤϤⲒⲀⲢⲒⲔⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲀ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲪⲎⲢⲒ ⲈϨⲀⲚϨⲞ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ϨⲎⲞⲨ.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their owne lustes: Whose mouthes speake proud things, hauing mens persons in admiration, because of aduantage.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϪⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲤ
But, yee beloued, remember the wordes which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Iesus Christ,
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲈⲠϦⲀⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲈⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲀⲖ ⲈⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲒⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎ Ⲥ
How that they told you that there should be mockers in ye last time, which should walke after their owne vngodly lustes.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲪⲞⲢϪ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲮⲨⲬⲒⲔⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ
These are they that separate them selues from other, naturall, hauing not the Spirit.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲔⲈⲦ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲰⲂϨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ
But, yee beloued, edifie your selues in your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost,
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲚϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲨⲰⲚϦ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ (aiōnios )
And keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercie of our Lord Iesus Christ, vnto eternall life. (aiōnios )
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞϨⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲆⲒⲀⲔⲢⲒⲚⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ
And haue compassion of some, in putting difference:
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲰⲖⲈⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲬⲢⲰⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲞϮ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞⲤϮ ⲚϮⲔⲈϢⲐⲎⲚ ⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚⲀϬⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲤⲀⲢⲜ
And other saue with feare, pulling them out of the fire, and hate euen that garment which is spotted by the flesh.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲪⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲖⲀϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϨⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲀϬ ⲚⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲐⲈⲖⲎⲖ.
Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy,
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦϤ ⲠⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲎⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲪⲰϤ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲀⲘⲀϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ϦⲀϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ. (aiōn )
That is, to God only wise, our Sauiour, be glorie, and maiestie, and dominion, and power, both nowe and for euer, Amen. (aiōn )
