1 ⲁ̅ ⲠⲀⲒ ⲘⲈⲖⲬⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦϬⲞⲤⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϨⲢⲈⲚ ⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ϤⲚⲀⲦⲀⲤⲐⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲠϪⲰϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲞⲨⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ
This Melchisedech kynge of Salem (which beinge prest of ye most hye god met Abraham as he returned agayne from the slaughter of the kynges and blessed him:
2 ⲃ̅ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲪⲈϢ ⲢⲈⲘⲎⲦ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲈⲚⲬⲀⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲞⲨⲀϨⲘⲈϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲰⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲠⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈϮϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ.
to whom also Abraham gave tythes of all thynges) fyrst is by interpretacion kynge of rightewesnes: after yt he is kynge of Sale yt is to saye kynge of peace
3 ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲀⲦⲒⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲀⲦⲘⲀⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲀⲦⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲠⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲈϤ ⲀⲢⲬⲎ ⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲈϤ ϦⲀⲈ ⲚⲰⲚϦ ϤⲦⲈⲚⲐⲰⲚⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚⲞⲨⲎⲂ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ.
with out father wt out mother with out kynne and hath nether begynnynge of his tyme nether yet ende of his lyfe: but is lykened vnto the sonne of god and cotinueth a preste for ever.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲀϢ ⲘⲘⲀⲒⲎ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤϮ ⲢⲈⲘⲎⲦ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲰⲦⲠ ⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲠⲒⲠⲀⲦⲢⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲤ.
Consyder what a man this was vnto who the patriarke Abraham gave tythes of the spoyles.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲖⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϬⲒ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲦⲞⲒ ⲈⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲈϬⲒ ⲢⲈⲘⲎⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲔⲈⲠⲈⲢ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦϮⲠⲒ ⲚⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ.
And verely those children of levy which receave the office of the prestes have a commaundement to take a cordyng to the lawe tythes of the people that is to saye of their brethren yee though they spronge out of the loynes of Abraham.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲀϤϬⲒ ⲢⲈⲘⲎⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
But he whose kynred is not counted amonge them receaved tythes of Abraham and blessed him that had the promyses.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲀⲦϬⲚⲈ ⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲞⲄⲒⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ϢⲀϤϬⲒⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
And no man denyeth but that which is lesse receaveth blessinge of yt which is greater.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲘⲞⲨ ⲤⲈϬⲒ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲢⲈⲘⲀϮ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ϤⲞⲚϦ.
And here men that dye receave tythes. But there he receaveth tythes of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈϪⲞϤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲖⲈⲨⲒ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲢⲈⲘⲀϮ ⲀϤϮⲢⲈⲘⲎⲦ.
And to saye the trueth Levy him silfe also which receaveth tythes payed tythes in Abraham.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲈⲦⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲦϮⲠⲒ ⲚⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϨⲢⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲘⲈⲖⲬⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ.
For he was yet in the loynes of his father Abraham when Melchisech met him.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲞⲠ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲖⲈⲨⲒⲦⲎ ⲤⲈⲦⲀⲨϮ ⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ϨⲒⲰⲦⲤ ⲒⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲬⲢⲒⲀ ⲞⲨ ⲦⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲦⲦⲀⲜⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲈⲖⲬⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲔⲈⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲚⲈϪⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲦⲦⲀⲜⲒⲤ ⲚⲀⲀⲢⲰⲚ.
Yf now therfore perfeccion came by the presthod of the levites (for vnder that presthod the people recaved the lawe) what neded it furthermore that an other prest shuld ryse after the order of Melchisedech and not after the order of Aaron?
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲈⲨⲚⲀⲞⲨⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲎ ⲂϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲎ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲨⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲔⲈⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ.
Now no dout yf the presthod be translated then of necessitie must the lawe be translated also.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲪⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲰ ⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦϤ ⲀϤϬⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲔⲈⲪⲨⲖⲎ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲤ ϮϨⲐⲎϤ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲢϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ.
For he of whom these thynges are spoken pertayneth vnto another trybe of which never man served at the aultre.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ϤⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϢⲞⲢⲠ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲪⲒⲢⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀ ⲦⲀⲒⲪⲨⲖⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲘⲠⲈ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲤ.
For it is evidet that oure lorde spronge of the trybe of Iuda of which trybe spake Moses nothynge concernynge presthod.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲒ ⲞⲚ ϤⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲘⲘⲈⲖⲬⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ ϤⲚⲀⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲚϪⲈⲔⲈⲞⲨⲎⲂ.
And it is yet a more evydent thinge yf after the similitude of Melchisedech ther aryse a nother prest
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲞⲨⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲰⲚϦ ⲚⲀⲐⲂⲰⲖ.
which is not made after the lawe of the carnall commaundmet: but after the power of the endlesse lyfe
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲞⲨⲎⲂ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲦⲦⲀⲜⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲈⲖⲬⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ. (aiōn )
(For he testifieth: Thou arte a prest forever after the order of Melchysedech) (aiōn )
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨϢⲰϢ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϮⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲒϮ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲦⲈⲤⲘⲈⲦⲀⲤⲐⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈⲤⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦϮϨⲎⲞⲨ.
Then the commaundmet that went a fore is disanulled because of hir weaknes and vnproffitablenes.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲈϤϪⲈⲔ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲚⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ⲈⲤⲤⲞⲦⲠ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ.
For the lawe made nothynge parfecte: but was an introduccion of a better hope by which hope we drawe nye vnto god.
20 ⲕ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲀⲦϬⲚⲈ ⲀⲚⲀϢ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲀⲦϬⲚⲈ ⲀⲚⲀϢ.
And for this cause it is a better hope that it was not promysed with out an othe.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲀⲚⲀϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀϤⲰⲢⲔ ⲚϪⲈⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲚϨⲐⲎϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲞⲨⲎⲂ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōn )
Those prestes were made wt out an oth: but this prest with an oth by him that saide vnto him The lorde sware and will not repent: Thou arte a prest for ever after the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn )
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲦⲀⲒⲘⲀⲒⲎ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲘⲠϢⲦⲰⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲆⲒⲀⲐⲎⲔⲎ ⲈⲤⲤⲞⲦⲠ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲈⲘⲚⲎ ⲦⲤ ⲚⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲰϢ ⲈⲨⲤⲰⲦⲠ.
And for that cause was Iesus a stablyssher of a better testament.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲞⲨⲘⲎ ϢϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲪⲘⲞⲨ ⲬⲰ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲞϨⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ.
And amonge them many were made prestes because they were not suffred to endure by the reason of deeth.
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ϤⲚⲀⲞϨⲒ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀϤϬⲒ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲚⲞⲨⲈϢⲈⲚ ⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲀⲤⲒⲤ. (aiōn )
But this man because he endureth ever hath an everlastinge presthod. (aiōn )
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ϨⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲈϤⲞⲚϦ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤⲤⲈⲘⲒ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ.
Wherfore he is able also ever to save them that come vnto god by him seynge he ever lyveth to make intercession for vs.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲀⲢⲬⲎⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲤⲀⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈϤⲦⲀⲒⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲀⲦⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲰϤ ⲈϤⲪⲰⲢϪ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϬⲒⲤⲒ ⲤⲀⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ.
Soche an hye prest it became vs to have which is wholy harmlesse vndefyled separat from synners and made hyar then heven.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲎ ⲦⲞⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲎⲚⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲢⲬⲎⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲈⲚ ϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲰⲤ ϢⲀⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲀ ⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀϤⲀⲒϤ ⲈⲀϤⲈⲚϤ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲞⲠ.
Which nedeth not dayly (as yonder hie prestes) to offer vp sacrifice fyrst for his awne synnes and then for the peoples synnes. For that did he at once for all when he offered vp him silfe.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ϢⲀϤⲬⲰ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲀⲢⲬⲎⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲞⲨ ϢⲰⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲀⲚⲀϢ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ϤⲦⲀϨⲞ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈϤϪⲎⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōn )
For the lawe maketh men prestes which have infirmitie: but the worde of the othe that came fence ye lawe maketh the sonne prest which is parfecte for ever more. (aiōn )
