1 ⲁ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲀⲚⲬⲰ ⲚⲤⲰⲚ ⲘⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲀⲢⲬⲎ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲒ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲤⲈⲢⲰϦⲦ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲨⲤⲈⲚϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ϨⲀⲚϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Meshikha, let us press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
2 ⲃ̅ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲬⲀϪⲒϪ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲀⲚⲀⲤⲦⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲔⲢⲒⲤⲒⲤ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōnios )
of the teaching of washings, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment. (aiōnios )
3 ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲚⲈⲀⲒϤ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ.
And this we will do if God permits.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦϪⲞⲘ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϬ ⲒⲘⲪⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲞⲠ ⲈⲀⲨϪⲈⲘϮⲠⲒ ⲚⲆⲰⲢⲈⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲈⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ
For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Rukha d'Qudsha,
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϪⲈⲘϮⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ. (aiōn )
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn )
6 ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϨⲈⲒ ⲚⲤⲈⲈⲢⲂⲈⲢⲒ ⲞⲚ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲀ ⲈⲨⲒϢⲒ ⲘⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲔⲈⲤⲞⲠ ⲤⲈⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚⲤⲢⲀϨ.
and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲠⲒⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲤⲰ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲞⲨⲚϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲞⲠ ⲈϤⲘⲒⲤⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲒⲘ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲒⲈⲪⲞⲨⲰⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦⲞⲨ ϢⲀϤϬⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it, and brings forth a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;
8 ⲏ̅ ⲀϤϢⲀⲚⲒⲚⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϨⲀⲚϢⲞⲚϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲞⲨⲢⲒ ⲞⲨⲀⲦϢⲀⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲈⲠⲤⲀϨⲞⲨⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈϤϦⲀⲈ ⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲠⲢⲞⲔϨϤ.
but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲠⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲐⲎⲦ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲦⲠ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲠⲔⲈⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ.
But, beloved, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲈⲢⲠⲰⲂϢ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠϦⲒⲤⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚϨⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲞⲚ.
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲀⲒⲤⲠⲞⲨⲆⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲀⲒϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ϢⲀ ϦⲀⲈ.
We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ϪⲈ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢⲔⲖⲎ ⲢⲞⲚⲞⲘⲒⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲰϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲀϨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ.
that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲰϢ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲆⲎ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲈϤϬⲞⲤⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤⲰⲢⲔ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀϤⲰⲢⲔ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ
For when God made a promise to Avraham, since he could swear by none greater, he swore by himself,
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲤⲘⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲀⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲀϢⲀⲒ ϮⲚⲀⲐⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲔϪⲢⲞϪ ⲀϢⲀⲒ.
saying, "I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply you."
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ Ⲁ- ⲦⲞⲦϤ ϢⲀϢⲚⲒ ⲈⲠⲒⲰϢ.
Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ϢⲀⲨⲰⲢⲔ ⲚⲀϨⲢⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲞⲄⲒⲀ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲀⲚⲀϢ.
For people swear oaths by something greater, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲀⲒ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲦⲀⲘⲈ ⲚⲒⲔⲖⲎⲢⲞⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲰϢ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲞⲨⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲤⲞϬⲚⲒ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲘⲈⲤⲒⲦⲎ ⲤϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲚⲀϢ
In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲰⲂ ⲂⲚⲀⲐⲞⲨⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϪⲈ ⲘⲈⲐⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲬⲰ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲞⲘϮ ⲈⲤϪⲞⲢ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲪⲰⲦ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚϮϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ⲈⲦⲬⲎ ⲚⲀϨⲢⲀⲚ.
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲀⲨϪⲀⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲈϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦϢⲞϤⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲦⲀϪⲢⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲚⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϢⲀ ⲚⲈⲦⲤⲀϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲔⲀⲦⲀⲠⲈⲦⲀⲤⲘⲀ.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the curtain;
20 ⲕ̅ ⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈϤⲞⲒ ⲘⲠⲢⲞⲆⲢⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲈⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲢⲬⲎⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲦⲦⲀⲜⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲈⲖⲬ ⲒⲤⲈⲆⲈⲔ. (aiōn )
