1 ⲁ̅ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲎⲠⲞⲦⲈ ⲈⲀⲨⲤⲰϪⲠ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲠⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲀ ⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲈⲢϦⲀⲈ.
Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲀⲨϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲀⲚ ϨⲰⲚ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ϪⲈ ⲠⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲐⲎⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲀϨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ.
For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard did not profit them, because they were not united by faith with those who heard.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϢⲈ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲰⲢⲔ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀϪⲰⲚⲦ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲀⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲔⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚⲒϨⲂⲎ ⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ⲦⲔⲀⲦⲀⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲘⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ.
For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϨⲒⲞⲨⲘⲀ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲌ ⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲀϤⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲌ ⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.
For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲀⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ
and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."
6 ⲋ̅ ⲈⲠⲒⲆⲎ ⲞⲨⲚ ϤⲤⲰϪⲠ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲦⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲐⲚⲀϨϮ.
Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and they to whom the good news was before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,
7 ⲍ̅ ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ϤⲐⲰϢ ⲚⲞⲨⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲘⲪⲞⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲆⲀⲨⲒⲆ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲞⲨⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲀⲒⲘⲀⲒⲎ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϢⲞⲢⲠ ϪⲈ ⲘⲪⲞⲞⲨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲚⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲤⲘⲎ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϮⲈⲚϢⲞⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ.
he again appoints a certain day, "Today," saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
8 ⲏ̅ ⲈⲚⲈⲀ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲐⲢⲞⲨⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲔⲈⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲚⲀⲒ.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
9 ⲑ̅ ϨⲀⲢⲀ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲒⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲤⲰϪⲠ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 ⲓ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ϨⲰϤ ⲀϤⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨϤ.
For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ϨⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀⲒⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ.
Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ϤⲈⲚϨⲞⲦ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲈⲢϨⲰⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤϢⲰⲦ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲤⲎϤⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲢⲞ ⲂⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲚⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϢⲀ ⲠⲒⲪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϨⲰⲦⲠ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲦⲔⲀⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲞⲒ ⲚϦⲞⲦϦⲈⲦ ⲚⲤⲀⲚⲒⲘⲞⲔⲘⲈⲔ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚϨⲎⲦ.
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲤⲰⲚⲦ ϨⲎⲠ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲘⲐⲞ ⲤⲈⲂⲎϢ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲈⲞⲒ ⲚϪⲀⲢⲀⲂ ⲚⲀϨⲂⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲂⲀⲖ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲪⲈϨ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲀⲢⲬⲎ ⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲈⲀϤⲤⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ
Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲀⲢⲬⲎⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲠ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈϬⲒ ⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲚϢⲰⲚⲒ ⲈⲀⲨⲈⲢⲠⲒⲢⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲈⲚⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲀϬⲚⲈ ⲚⲞⲂⲒ.
For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲠⲒⲐⲢⲞⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϬⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϪⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲈⲨⲈⲨⲔⲈⲢⲒⲀ ⲘⲂⲞⲎⲐⲒⲀ.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
