1 ⲁ̅ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦ.
Become, then, followers of God, as beloved children,
2 ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲞϢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲞⲚ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲠⲢⲞⲤⲪⲞⲢⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲨⲤⲐⲞⲒ ⲚⲤⲐⲞⲒⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ.
and walk in love, as the Christ also loved us, and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a refreshing fragrance,
3 ⲅ̅ ϮⲠⲞⲢⲚⲒⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϬⲰϦⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲒⲈ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲞⲨϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲤⲢⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ.
and whoredom, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, do not let it even be named among you, as is proper to holy ones;
4 ⲇ̅ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲨⲒⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲤⲞϪ ⲒⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲈⲨⲦⲢⲀⲠⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲞⲨϢⲈⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ.
also filthiness, and foolish talking, or jesting—the things not fit—but rather thanksgiving;
5 ⲉ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲞⲢⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲒⲈ ⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲒⲈ ⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦϢⲀⲘϢⲈ ⲒⲆⲰⲖⲞⲚ ⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲈϤ ⲔⲖⲎ ⲢⲞⲚⲞⲘⲒⲀ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ϦⲈⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
for you know this, that every whoremonger, or unclean, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈⲢϨⲀⲖ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲨϢⲞⲨⲒⲦ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ϤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϪⲰⲚⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲐⲰⲦ ⲚϨⲎⲦ.
Let no one deceive you with vain words, for because of these things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience;
7 ⲍ̅ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
do not become, then, partakers with them,
8 ⲏ̅ ⲚⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲬⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲎⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲞϢⲒ ϨⲰⲤ ϨⲀⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ.
for you were once darkness, and now light in the LORD; walk as children of light,
9 ⲑ̅ ⲠⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲀϤⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲆⲒⲔⲈⲞⲤⲨⲚⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ.
for the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲆⲞⲔⲒⲘⲀⲌⲒⲚ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲐⲢⲀⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ.
proving what is well-pleasing to the LORD;
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲈⲚⲒϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲀⲔⲒ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲞϨⲒ.
and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of the darkness and rather even convict,
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲚⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲬⲰⲠ ⲞⲨϢⲒⲠⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲈⲢⲠⲔⲈϪⲞⲦⲞⲨ.
for it is a shame even to speak of the things done by them in secret,
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲤⲀϨⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀⲨⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲰⲂ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲠⲈ.
and all the things reproved by the light are revealed, for everything that is revealed is light;
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲰⲚⲔ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲞⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ.
for this reason it says, “Arouse yourself, you who are sleeping, and arise out of the dead, and the Christ will shine on you.”
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲀⲔⲢⲒⲂⲰⲤ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲀⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲤⲂⲰ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲤⲀⲂⲈⲨ.
See, then, how exactly you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲠ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲎⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲤⲈϨⲰⲞⲨ.
redeeming the time, because the days are evil;
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲦⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲔⲀϮ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
do not become fools because of this, but—understanding what [is] the will of the LORD,
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲐⲒϦⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲎⲢⲠ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲎⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀ.
and do not be drunk with wine, in which is wastefulness, but be filled in the Spirit,
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲮⲀⲖⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϨⲰⲆⲎ ⲘⲠⲚⲀⲦⲒⲔⲞⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲰⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲮⲀⲖⲒⲚ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ.
speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD,
20 ⲕ̅ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲈⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲒⲰⲦ
always giving thanks for all things, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to the God and Father,
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲚⲞ ⲚϪⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚϮϨⲞϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲚⲒϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨϬⲚⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲀⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ.
The wives: [subject yourselves] to your own husbands, as to the LORD,
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲦⲀⲪⲈ ⲚϮⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲦⲀⲪⲈ ⲚϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ ⲦⲈ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲤⲰⲦⲎⲢ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body,
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ ϬⲚⲞ ⲚϪⲰⲤ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲒϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨϬ ⲚⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲀⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.
but even as the Assembly is subject to Christ, so also [are] the wives [subject] to their own husbands in everything.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲀⲢⲒⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎ ⲤⲒⲀ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲤ
The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it,
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞⲤ ⲈⲀϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ.
that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying,
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲦⲀϨⲈ ϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲢⲀⲦⲤ ⲈⲤϦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲀϬⲚⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲤ ⲒⲈ ⲐⲰⲖⲈⲂ ⲒⲈ ⲚⲬⲀⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲤⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲤⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲐⲰⲖⲈⲂ.
that He might present the Assembly to Himself in glory, having no spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished;
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲪⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦϤ.
so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wife—he loves himself;
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲘⲠⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲈⲤⲦⲈ ⲦⲈϤⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϢⲀϤϢⲀⲚⲞⲨϢⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϢⲀϤⲈⲢⲐⲀⲖⲠⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ.
for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and nurtures it, as also the LORD—the Assembly,
30 ⲗ̅ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
because we are members of His body, [[of His flesh, and of His bones.]]
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲬⲀ ⲠⲈϤⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈϤⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲈⲦⲞⲘϤ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲂ ⲈⲨⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ
“For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will be into one flesh”;
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲠⲀⲒⲘⲨⲤⲦⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲠⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ.
this secret is great, and I speak in regard to Christ and to the Assembly;
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲠⲖⲎⲚ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲪⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲢⲎϮ ϮⲤϨⲒⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ϨⲰⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲤⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲠⲈⲤϨⲀⲒ.
but you also, everyone in particular—let each so love his own wife as himself, and the wife—that she may revere the husband.
