ⲦⲒⳘⲞⲐⲈⲞⲤ Ⲃ ̅ 3

1 ⲁ̅ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲢⲒⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚϦⲀⲈ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲰⲞⲨ.

But this know thou, that in the latter days hard times will come:

2 ⲃ̅ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲒϨⲀⲦ ⲚⲈⲤⲒⲈ ⲚϬⲀⲤⲒϦⲎⲦ ⲚⲢⲈϤϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲚⲤⲀⲚⲞⲨⲒⲞϮ ⲚⲀⲦϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲀⲦⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ.

and men will be lovers of themselves, and lovers of money, boasters, proud, censorious, unyielding towards their own people, denyers of grace, wicked,

3 ⲅ̅ ⲚⲀⲦϢⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲈⲘⲚⲒ ⲚⲆⲒⲀⲂⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲦϢⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲈϢⲈⲠⲤⲂⲰ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲤⲈⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲀⲚ.

calumniators, addicted to concupiscence, ferocious, haters of the good,

4 ⲇ̅ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲘⲠⲢⲞⲆⲞⲦⲎⲤ ⲈⲨⲀⲤⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϬⲀⲤⲒⲚⲀϨⲂⲒ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲒϨⲨⲆⲞⲚⲎ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲘⲀⲒⲚⲞⲨϮ.

treacherous, rash, inflated, attached to pleasure more than to the love of God,

5 ⲉ̅ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲤϪⲞⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲨϪⲰⲖ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲀⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲆⲈ ϨⲈⲚⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.

having a form of respect for God, but wide from the power of God. Them who are such, repel from thee.

6 ⲋ̅ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲎ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲞⲘⲤⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲎⲒ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲈⲬⲘⲀⲖⲰⲦⲈⲨⲒⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲈϨ ⲚⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ.

For of them are they who creep into this and that house, and captivate the women who are plunged in sins and led away by divers lusts,

7 ⲍ̅ ⲈⲨϬⲒⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ.

who are always learning, and can never come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 ⲏ̅ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲀⲘⲂⲢⲎⲤ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϮ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲈⲚ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲤⲈϮ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲈⲚ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲦⲀⲔⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲆⲞⲔⲒⲘⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲔⲰϮ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲀϨϮ.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also do these withstand the truth: men whose mind is corrupted, and they reprobates from the faith.

9 ⲑ̅ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲔⲞⲠⲦⲒⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲦⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲈⲘⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲤⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲤⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲐⲀ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ.

But they will not make progress, for their infatuation will be understood by every one, as theirs also was understood.

10 ⲓ̅ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲔⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲦⲀⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲀⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲀϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲐⲰϢ ⲠⲀⲚⲀϨϮ ⲦⲀⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲦⲀⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲦⲀϨⲨⲠⲞⲘⲞⲚⲎ.

But thou hast followed after my doctrine, and my manner of life, and my aims, and my faith, and my long suffering, and my love, and my patience,

11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲚⲒⲆⲒⲰⲄⲘⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲀⲒⲘⲔⲀⲨϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲚϮⲞⲬⲒⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲒⲔⲞⲚⲒⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲖⲨⲤⲦⲢⲞⲒⲤ ⲚⲒⲆⲒⲰⲄⲘⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀⲒϢⲞⲠⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞⲒ ⲀϤⲚⲀϨⲘⲈⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.

and my persecution, and my sufferings. And thou knowest what I endured at Antioch, and at Iconium, and at Lystra; what persecution I endured: and from all these my Lord delivered me.

12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲰⲚϦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϬⲞϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ.

And likewise all, who choose to live in the fear of God, in Jesus the Messiah, will be persecuted.

13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲨϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲢⲈϤⲤⲞⲠⲤⲈⲠ ⲈⲨⲈⲒ ⲈⲦϨⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲈⲨⲤⲰⲢⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲤⲞⲢⲈⲘ.

But evil and seducing men will add to their wickedness, while they deceive and are deceived.

14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲦⲤⲀⲂⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲔⲈⲢⲠⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲦⲤⲀⲂⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲘ.

But continue thou in the things thou hast learned and been assured of; for thou knowest from whom thou learnedst;

15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲖⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲚⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈⲦⲈⲔⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ.

because from thy childhood, thou wast taught the holy books, which can make thee wise unto life, by faith in Jesus the Messiah.

16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲄⲢⲀⲪⲎ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲚⲒϤⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲈⲞⲒ ⲚϨⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲤⲂⲰ ⲈⲨⲤⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲨⲦⲀϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲀⲦϤ ⲈⲨⲤⲂⲰ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ϮⲆⲒⲔⲈⲞⲤⲨⲚⲎ.

All scripture that was written by the Spirit, is profitable for instruction, and for confutation, and for correction, and for erudition in righteousness;

17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈϤⲤⲈⲂⲦⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲦⲀϪⲢⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ.

that the man of God may become perfect, and complete for every good work.
