1 ⲁ̅ ⲠⲀⲨⲖⲞⲤ ⲠⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲎⲢ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲦⲈⲚϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, [which is] our hope;
2 ⲃ̅ ⲚⲦⲒⲘⲞⲐⲈⲞⲤ ⲠⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦ ⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲀϨϮ ⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲪⲚⲀⲒ ϮϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲒϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ⲈⲐⲢⲈⲔϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲈⲪⲈⲤⲞⲤ ⲈⲒⲚⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲈⲐⲘⲀⲔⲈⲆⲞⲚⲒⲀ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲔϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲔⲈⲤⲂⲰ
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
4 ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲚⲤⲈϢⲦⲈⲘϮϨⲐⲎϤ ⲈϨⲀⲚϢⲂⲰ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲀⲨⲢⲎϪⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚϪⲒⲚⲔⲰϮ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲞⲒⲔⲞⲚⲞⲘⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲀϨϮ.
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: [so do].
5 ⲉ̅ ⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲀⲒϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲚⲀⲦⲘⲈⲦϢⲞⲂⲒ.
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:
6 ⲋ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲢⲒⲔⲒ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲈⲪⲖⲎⲞⲨ.
From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 ⲍ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲈⲢⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲈⲔⲀϮ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ.
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲚⲈ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ϨⲰⲤ ⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ.
But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 ⲑ̅ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲪⲀⲒ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲬⲎ ⲘⲠⲒⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀϤⲬⲎ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲦϬⲚⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲤⲈⲦⲞⲨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀϤϨⲎ ⲦⲚⲚⲒϦⲀⲦⲈⲂ ⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲚⲒϦⲀⲦⲈⲂ ⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲚⲒϦⲀⲦⲈⲂ ⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲞⲢⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲚⲔⲞⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲀⲖ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲢⲈⲘϨⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤϪⲈⲘⲈⲐⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲰⲢⲔ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲔⲈϨⲰⲂ ⲔⲈϨⲰⲂ ⲈϤϮ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲈⲚ ϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲞϪ
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲀⲔⲀⲢⲒⲞⲤ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲦⲈⲚϨⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ϮϢⲈⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϮⲚⲞⲘϮ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϤⲞⲠⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲀϤⲬⲀⲦ ⲈⲨⲆⲒⲀⲔⲰⲚⲒⲀ.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲚⲀⲒⲞⲒ ⲚⲢⲈϤϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲆⲒⲰⲔⲦⲎⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲢⲈϤϮϢⲰϢ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲎⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲒⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϮⲈⲘⲒ ⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲐⲚⲀϨϮ.
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲀϢⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ.
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ϤⲈⲚϨⲞⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϢⲞⲠϤ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚϢⲞⲠ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒϨⲞⲨⲒⲦ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ.
This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲎⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎ ⲦⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲨⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲨⲰⲚϦ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōnios g166)
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲠⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲠⲒⲀⲦⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲠⲒⲀⲐⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦϤ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲒⲦⲀⲒⲞ ⲪⲰϤ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ. (aiōn g165)
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲠⲀⲒϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ϮϪⲰⲒⲖⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ⲠⲀϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲦⲒⲘⲞⲐⲈⲞⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲒⲀ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲒ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲔ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲔϦⲞⲔⲔ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲦⲞⲒ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ.
This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲀⲔ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲬⲀⲤ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲂⲒϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲀϨϮ.
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
20 ⲕ̅ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ϨⲨⲘⲈⲚⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲀⲖⲈⲜⲀⲚⲆⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲦⲎⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲤⲀⲦⲀⲚⲀⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈϬⲒⲤⲂⲰ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ.
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
