⳰ⳘⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ Ⲁ ̅ 4
1 ⲁ̅ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲈⲠⲘⲔⲀϨ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲔ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲤⲘⲞⲦ ϪⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲀϤⲦⲀⲖϬⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲂⲒ.
Therefore Christ having suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind: because the one having suffered in carnality has ceased from sin;
2 ⲃ̅ ⲈⲠϪⲒⲚⲐⲢⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘϢⲰⲠⲒ ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲀ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲤⲈⲠⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲰⲚϦ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲀⲒϤ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
that he may no longer live the remaining time in carnality according to the lusts of men, but in the will of God.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲔⲎⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲚⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϬⲰϦⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲐⲒϦⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϪⲈⲢϪⲈⲢ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲰϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲐⲞ ⲘⲂⲞϮ ⲘⲘⲈⲦϢⲀⲘϢⲈ ⲒⲆⲰⲖⲞⲚ
For the past time is sufficient to have wrought the will of the heathens, walking in impurities, in lusts, in wine-drinkings, in revelries, in intemperance, and in unlawful idolatries:
4 ⲇ̅ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲚϦⲎ ⲦϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲞϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲪⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲢⲰ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲈⲨϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ
in which they are astonished you not running to the same excess of wrath, blaspheming;
who shall give an account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲨϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲔⲈⲢⲈϤⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈϮϨⲀⲠ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲰⲚϦ ⲆⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲚⲀ
For, unto this the gospel was also preached to the dead, in order that they may indeed be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
But the end of all things is at hand. Therefore be prudent, and sober unto prayers:
8 ⲏ̅ ϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲆⲈ ⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲤⲘⲎⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲎ ⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϢⲀⲤϨⲰⲂⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲚⲞⲂⲒ
before all things having divine love stedfast toward one another; because divine love covers a multitude of sins:
being hospitable to one another without grudging;
10 ⲓ̅ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲈⲦⲀϤϬ ⲒⲦϤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ϦⲀⲢⲒ ϦⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲞⲒⲔⲞⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞ ⲚⲢⲎϮ.
as each one received the gift of grace, ministering the same to one another, as the good stewards of the manifold grace of God:
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ϨⲰⲤ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀⲤⲈⲂⲦⲰⲦⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲦⲈϤϬⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲰϤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ. (aiōn g165)
if any one speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any one ministers, as from the strength which God supplies; in order that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ; to whom there is glory and power unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲢⲰⲔϨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲞⲨⲠⲒⲢⲀⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲰⲂ ⲚϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲈⲀϤϪⲈⲘ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, coming upon you unto your testing: as some strange thing happening to you:
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲈⲚⲒⲘⲔⲀⲨϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲢⲀϢⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲈϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲢⲀϢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲐⲈⲖⲎⲖ.
but as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; in order that you may also rejoice in the revelation of his glory, being glad.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈϢⲰϢ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲪⲀ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀϤⲘⲦⲞⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ.
If you suffer reproach in the name of Christ, happy are you, because the spirit of the glory and the spirit of God rest on you.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲈ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϢⲈⲠⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲒⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϦⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲒⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲒⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀⲘⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲒⲈ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲈⲦⲈⲪⲰϤ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ
But let no one of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other people's business:
but if as a Christian, be not ashamed, but glorify God in this name.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ϪⲈ ⲠⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲎⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲈⲢϨⲎ ⲦⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲒⲈ ⲀϢ ⲠⲈ ⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲐⲰⲦ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲈⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲪϮ
Because it is time that judgment should begin from the house of God: and if it is first from us, what shall be the end of those who obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϬⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨϪⲰⲒⲖⲒ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲒⲢⲈϤⲤⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲞⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲠϪⲒⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ.
So let those indeed suffering according to the will of God submit their souls to the faithful Creator, in good work.
