1 ⲁ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲒⲠⲚⲀⲦⲒⲔⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϮⲞⲨⲈϢ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲈⲘⲒ
Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲬⲎ ϦⲀ ⲚⲒⲒⲆⲰⲖⲞⲚ ⲚⲀⲦϦⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might be led.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ϮⲦⲀⲘⲞ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϨⲖⲒ ⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲚⲀⲐⲈⲘⲀ ⲠⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲖⲒ ϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲒⲘⲎϮ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲂ.
Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲦⲞⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲪⲰϢ ⲈⲨϢⲞⲠ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲈⲠⲀⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲢⲰ ⲠⲈ.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲦⲞⲒ ⲘⲪⲰϢ ⲈⲨϢⲞⲠ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲆⲒⲀⲔⲰⲚⲒⲀ ⲈⲠⲀⲒϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲢⲰ ⲠⲈ.
And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲦⲞⲒ ⲘⲪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲠⲀⲒⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲢⲰ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲈⲚⲬⲀⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.
And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲤⲈϮ ⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲪⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲢⲚⲞϤⲢⲒ.
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀϢⲀⲨϮ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲀⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲪⲀⲒ.
For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:
9 ⲑ̅ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲢⲰ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϨⲀⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲀⲖϬⲞ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲢⲰ ⲞⲚ.
to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;
10 ⲓ̅ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϨⲀⲚϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϪⲞⲘ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲒⲀ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲂⲰⲖ ⲘⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲄⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲖⲀⲤ ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲈⲢⲘⲎⲚⲒⲀ ⲚⲖⲀⲤ.
and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another [divers] kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲰⲂ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲠⲀⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲢⲰ ⲠⲈ ⲈϤⲪⲰϢ ⲘⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲈϨⲚⲀϤ.
but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲘⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲈⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰϤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲔⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲚϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲈⲨⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲒⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲒⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ ⲒⲦⲈ ⲂⲰⲔ ⲒⲦⲈ ⲢⲈⲘϨⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲈⲚ ⲀⲨⲦⲤⲞⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ.
For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲔⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ.
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ϮϬⲀⲖⲞϪ ϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲞⲨϪⲒϪ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲀⲢⲀ ⲦⲞⲨⲦⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲦⲈ.
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϢϪ ϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲂⲀⲖ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲀⲢⲀ ⲦⲞⲨⲦⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲦⲈ.
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲈⲚⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲞⲨⲂⲀⲖ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ϨⲰϤ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲚⲈ ⲞⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲠⲈ ⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ϨⲰϤ ⲠⲒϢⲰⲖⲈⲘ.
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲬⲰ ⲚⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢ.
But now hath God set the members each one of them in the body, even as it pleased him.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲈⲚⲈ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ϨⲰϤ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 ⲕ̅ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
But now they are many members, but one body.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲂⲀⲖ ϪⲞⲤ ⲚϮϪⲒϪ ϪⲈ ϮⲈⲢⲬⲢⲒⲀ ⲘⲘⲞ ⲀⲚ ⲒⲈ ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ϮⲀⲪⲈ ⲚⲚⲒϬⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ ϪⲈ ϮⲈⲢⲬⲢⲒⲀ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀⲚ.
And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲞⲒ ⲚϪⲰⲂ ⲚⲀⲒ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲈⲞⲚ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲚⲈ.
Nay, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be more feeble are necessary:
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈϢⲎϢ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϮ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲦⲀⲒⲞ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϪⲀⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲈⲤⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ.
and those [parts] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲚⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲤⲀⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲬⲢⲒⲀ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀϤⲐⲈⲦ ⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲈⲀϤϮ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲦⲀⲒⲞ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲀⲦ.
whereas our comely [parts] have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked;
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘⲪⲰⲢϪ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϤⲒⲢⲰⲞⲨϢ ϦⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ.
that there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ϬⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϬⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ϬⲒⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ.
And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or [one] member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈϤⲘⲈⲖⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲢⲞⲤ.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲬⲀⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎ ⲤⲒⲀ ϢⲞⲢⲠ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲪⲘⲀϨ Ⲃ- ϨⲀⲚⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲪⲘⲀϨ ⲄϨⲀⲚⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲚⲀⲒ ϨⲀⲚϪⲞⲘ ⲒⲦⲀ ϨⲀⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲀⲖϬⲞ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϮⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲈⲘⲒ ϨⲀⲚⲄⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲖⲀⲤ.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, [divers] kinds of tongues.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢϪⲞⲘ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all [workers of] miracles?
30 ⲗ̅ ⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲀⲖϬⲞ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲖⲀⲤ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲈⲢⲘⲈⲚⲈⲨⲒⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.
have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲬⲞϨ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲚⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲒ ⲞⲚ ϮⲚⲀⲦⲀⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲈⲚⲀⲀϤ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ.
But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you.
