1 Nambo mmwejo njiganye majiganyo ga usyene.
But do thou speak the things that become sound teaching;
2 Mwasalile achalume ŵachekulwipe aŵe ŵakukombola kulilongosya achinsyene ni ŵakuchimbichikwa, ni ŵakulitulusya, ni ŵautindimisyo mu chikulupi ni mu unonyelo ni mu upililiu.
that the elder men be sober, grave, discreet, sound in faith, in love, in patience;
3 Ni achakongwe ŵachekulwipe iyoyo peyo mwasalile atameje mu utame wa kwajogopa Akunnungu. Analambusye atamuno akaŵa achikapolo ŵakukolelwa divai, nambo ŵakwiganya yaili yambone pe,
that the elder women in like manner be in deportment as becoming those who have to say to sacred things, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is right;
4 kuti ŵajiganye achiŵali kwanonyela achiŵankwawo ni kwanonyela ŵanache ŵao,
that they may admonish the young women to be attached to [their] husbands, to be attached to [their] children,
5 ni ŵakukombola kulilongosya achinsyene ni ŵaswejele, ŵakugagosa yambone majumba gao ni ŵa ntima wambone ni ŵakwapilikanichisya achiŵankwawo kuti Liloŵe lya Akunnungu likasatukanwa ni ŵandu.
discreet, chaste, diligent in home work, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be evil spoken of.
6 Ni iyoyo achachanda mwalimbisye kuti akombole kulilongosya achinsyene.
The younger men in like manner exhort to be discreet:
7 Mu indu yose mwasyene mme chisyasyo cha kupanganya yambone nchilosyaga usyene ni mmajiganyo genu nlosye kuti mmwe mwasyene nkugakulupilila ni kugakuya.
in all things affording thyself as a pattern of good works; in teaching uncorruptedness, gravity,
8 Maloŵe gankuŵecheta ganaŵe ni chileŵo chachilichose kuti ŵammagongo ŵenu jatende soni, pakuŵa nganakola chachilichose changalumbana chakusala nkati ngani syetu.
a sound word, not to be condemned; that he who is opposed may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us:
9 Achikapolo ŵapilikanichisye achakulu ŵao ŵa pachilambo ni kwanonyelesya mu yanayose. Alisepusye kwangangana nawo,
bondmen to be subject to their own masters, to make themselves acceptable in everything; not gainsaying;
10 pane kwajiŵa indu yao. Nambo alosye katema kose kuti ali ŵa ntima wambone ni ŵakukulupichika, kuti majiganyo ga Akunnungu Nkulupusyo jwetu galoleche yambone mu yose.
not robbing [their masters], but shewing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the teaching which [is] of our Saviour God in all things.
11 Pakuŵa umbone wa Akunnungu waukwikanawo ukulupusyo kwa ŵandu wose uwunukulikwe.
For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared,
12 Nombewo ukutujiganya kuti tuleche chigongomalo ni tama syangalumbana sya pachilambo pano, tutameje kwa kulilongosya achinsyene ni kuŵa ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu ni kutama kwa kwanonyelesya Akunnungu mu chilambo chino, (aiōn )
teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things, (aiōn )
13 tuchilindililaga lyuŵa lya upile lyatukulilolela, pelepo chiutyochele ukulu wa Akunnungu Ŵakulu ni Nkulupusyo jwetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
awaiting the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Jwelejo ŵalityosisye nsyene kwa liwamba lyetu uwe kuti atuwombole mu ileŵo yose ni kutuswejesya kuti tuŵe ŵakwe asyene, ŵandu ŵaali ni lung'wanu lwakupanganya ipanganyo yambone.
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works.
15 Sambano mwajiganye indu yi kwa ulamusi wose, mwalimbisye mitima ni kwajamuka. Mundu jwalijose anannyosye.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise thee.
