Ŵaloma 5
1 Sambano pakuŵa tuŵalanjikwe ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu kwa chikulupi, kwapele tukutama kwa chitendewele pasikati jetu ni Akunnungu kwa litala lya Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
Having, therefore, been declared righteous by faith, let us have, peace, towards God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, —
2 Kwa litala lya chikulupi chetu, Che Yesu atutesile tuumanye umbone wa Akunnungu mwatukutama mu, noweji tukusangalala kwa chilolelo cha kukamulangana mu ukulu wa Akunnungu.
Through whom also we have had, our introduction, [by our faith] into this favour wherein we stand; and let us boast in hope of the glory of God.
3 Ni ngaŵa yeleyo pe, nambo tukusengwa kwa ligongo lya malagasyo gatukugapata, pakuŵa tukumanyilila kuti malagasyo gakuichisya upililiu,
And, not only so, but let us boast also in our tribulations; knowing that, our tribulation, worketh out endurance.
4 ni upililiu ukuichisya kulimbangana ni kulimbangana kukuichisya chilolelo.
And, our endurance, a testing, and, our testing, hope,
5 Ni chilolelo cho ngachikunsupusya ntima mundu, ligongo Akunnungu aŵisile unonyelo wao mu mitima jetu kwa litala lya Mbumu jwakwe jwatupele.
And, our hope, putteth not to shame. Because, the love of God, hath been poured out in our hearts, through the Holy Spirit that hath been given unto us:
6 Pakuŵa patwaliji tukanaŵe kola ni machili, pakaichile katema kaŵakasagwile Akunnungu, Kilisito ŵawile kwa ligongo lyetu uweji ŵachigongomalo.
Seeing that, Christ, we being weak as yet, seasonably, in behalf of such as were ungodly, died.
7 Ili ya kulimba kwa mundu jwalijose kuwa kwaligongo lya mundu jwambone paujo pa Akunnungu, nambo ikomboleka mundu kuwa kwaligongo lya mundu jwambone.
For, scarcely in behalf of a righteous man, will one die, —in behalf of the good man indeed, peradventure one even dareth to die;
8 Nambo Akunnungu akutulosya kuti akutunonyela, pakuŵa patwaliji chiŵela ŵandu ŵa sambi, Kilisito ŵawile kwaligongo lyetu.
But God commendeth his own love unto us in that—we as yet being sinners, Christ in our behalf died.
9 Pakuŵa sambano tuŵalanjikwe ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu kwa litala lya miasi ja Kilisito, isyene chitukulupuswe ni ŵelewo kutyochela mu lutumbilo lwa Akunnungu.
Much more, then, having now been declared righteous by his blood, shall we be saved through him from the anger.
10 Pakuŵa patwaliji ŵammagongo ŵa Akunnungu, Akunnungu ŵatujilenye ni nsyene kwa chiwa cha Mwanagwe. Ni sambano pakuŵa tujilanikwe nawo, isyene tutukulupuswe kwa litala lya umi wa Kilisito.
For, if being enemies we were reconciled unto God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
11 Ni ngaŵa iyoyo pe, nambo tukusengwa kwa ligongo lya aila yaitesile Akunnungu kwa litala lya Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito jwatujilenye ni Akunnungu.
And, not only, so, but are even boasting in God, through our Lord Jesus [Christ], —through whom, now, the reconciliation we have received.
12 Kwa litala lya mundu jumo sambi syajinjile mu chilambo muno ni kuichisya chiwa. Kwayele chiwa chaichilile ŵandu wose, ligongo wose atesile sambi.
For this cause, —just as, through one man, sin into the world entered, and through sin, death, —and, so, unto all men death passed through, for that all had sinned; —
13 Akunnungu akanaŵe kwapa che Musa Malajisyo, sambi syajinjile mu chilambo. Nambo sambi ngasikuŵalanjikwa kuti sili sambi pangali Malajisyo.
For, until law, sin was in the world, although sin is not reckoned when there is no law, —
14 Nambo chitandile katema ka che Adamu kwichila katema ka che Musa, chiwa chaatawele ŵandu wose namose aŵala ŵanganatenda sambi chisau sambi siŵasitesile che Adamu. Che Adamu ali mpela Kilisito juchaiche.
Yet still, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them who had not sinned after the likeness of the transgression of Adam, —who is a type of the Coming One; —
15 Nambo chileŵo chi che Adamu ngachikomboleka kulandanywa ni ntuuka wa Akunnungu. Pakuŵa iŵaga sambi sya mundu jumo syaichisye chiwa kwa wose, ikulosya kuti ntuuka wa Akunnungu upundile nnope ni ntulilo wao uli kwa ŵandu ŵajinji, nombewo ukukopoka kwa mundu jumo, jwele mundu ali Che Yesu Kilisito.
But, not as the fault, so, [also] the decree of favour, for, if, by the fault of the one, the many died, much more, the favour of God and the free-gift in favour, by the one man Jesus Christ, unto the many superabounded;
16 Ntuuka wa Akunnungu ngaukulandana ni sambi sya mundu jumo. Akunnungu ŵanlamwile jwaleŵile kwa ligongo lya mundu jumo, nambo ŵandu ŵajinji paŵatesile sambi, Akunnungu ŵaichisye ntulilo wa kwaŵalanjila aŵe ŵandu ŵambone paujo pao.
And, not as through one that sinned, is that which is freely given, for, the sentence of judgment, indeed, was—out of one [fault] into condemnation, whereas, the decree of favour, is—out of many faults, into a recovery of righteousness.
17 Ili isyene kuti kwa litala lya chileŵo cha mundu jumo, chiwa chatawele. Nambo achila chiŵachitesile mundu jumo, yaani Che Yesu Kilisito chili chambone mwakupunda. Ŵandu wose chapochele umbone wekulu wa Akunnungu ni ntulilo wekulu wakutendekwa ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu, chatawale mu umi kwa litala lya mundu jumo, mundu jo ali Che Yesu Kilisito.
For, if, by the fault of the one, death reigned through the one, much more, they who the superabundance of the favour and of [the free-gift of] the righteousness do receive, in life, shall reign through the one, Jesus Christ.
18 Nipele iŵaga kwa chileŵo cha mundu jumo ŵandu wose ŵalamulikwe kwamukwa, iyoyo peyo kwa chipanganyo chambone cha mundu jumo, chikwawombola ŵandu wose ni kwapa umi.
Hence then, as through one fault, [the sentence was] unto all men unto condemnation, so, also, through one recovery of righteousness, [the decree of favour] is unto all men for righteous acquittal unto life;
19 Pakuŵa kwa litala lya ungajitichisya wa mundu jumo, ŵandu ŵajinji ŵatendekwe ali ni sambi, iyoyo peyo kwitichisya kwa mundu jumo, kukwatenda ŵandu ŵajinji aŵalanjikwe ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu.
For, just as, through the disobedience of the one man, sinners, the many were constituted, so, also, through the obedience of the one, righteous, the many shall be constituted—
20 Malajisyo gaiche kuti ŵandu alimanyilile yatite kukola sambi, nambo ŵandu paŵapundile kutenda sambi, ntuuka wa umbone wa Akunnungu wapundile nnope.
Law, however, gained admission, in order that the fault might abound, but, where the sin abounded, the favour greatly superabounded:
21 Mpela ila sambi syasitite pakutawala ni kwichisya chiwa, iyoyo peyo ntuuka wa umbone wa Akunnungu chiutawale kwa kwatenda ŵandu aŵe ŵambone paujo pao ni kwalongosya akole umi wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi kwa litala li Che Yesu Kilisito Ambuje ŵetu. (aiōnios g166)
In order that—just as sin reigned in death, so, also, favour, might reign through righteousness unto life age-abiding, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
