< Ŵaloma 14 >
1 Mumpochele jwelejo jwakulepetala mu chikulupi nkakanilana nawo nkati ng'anisyo syao.
Receive someone who is weak in the faith, but not for disputes over arguables.
2 Mundu jumo akwete chikulupi, akulya indu yose, nambo jwine jwalepetele mu chikulupi, akulya maponda pe.
One man has faith to eat everything, while the weak one eats only vegetables.
3 Mundu jwakulya indu yose, akasanjalusya jwelejo jwangakulya indu yose. Ni mundu jwakulya maponda pe, akasanlamula jwelejo jwakulya indu yose, pakuŵa Akunnungu ankundile jwelejo.
One who eats must not look down on one who does not, and one who does not eat must not judge one who does, because God has accepted him.
4 Ana mmwejo nduni junkunlamula jwakutumichila jwa jwine? Ajimaga uchenene pa masengo gao pane agwaga, lyele lili pachanya pa mmbujegwe. Nombejo chajime mwakulimbila, pakuŵa Ambuje chakombole kunjimika.
Who are you to judge someone else's household servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And stand he will, for God has the power to make him stand.
5 Mundu jumo akukombola kuganisya kuti lyuŵa limo lili lyambone kupunda moŵa gane nambo jwine akukombola kuganisya kuti moŵa gose gali yalumo. Kwapele mundu jwalijose ajitichisye yakuti pakuganisya nsyene.
One man esteems one day above another; another esteems everyday alike. Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 Mundu jwalijose jwakuliwona lyuŵa lili lyambone, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje. Ni jwakulya indu yose, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje, pakuŵa akwatogolela Akunnungu kwaligongo lya chakulya chiŵapele. Iyoyo ni jwangakulya indu yose, akutenda yeleyo kwakwakusya Ambuje, ni jwelejo nombe akwatogolela Akunnungu.
He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. And he who eats, eats to the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, also giving thanks to God.
7 Pakuŵa ngapagwa namose jumo pasikati jetu jwakutama kwa liwamba lyakwe nsyene atamuno ngapagwa jwakwasika kwa liwamba lyakwe nsyene.
You see, none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.
Because if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.
9 Pakuŵa Kilisito ŵajasiche ni kusyuka kwa ligongo lyo, melepe aŵeje Ambuje ŵao ŵaajasiche ni ŵajumi nombe nawo.
For this very reason Christ both died and rose, and lived, so as to rule both dead and living.
10 Kwachichi mmwe nkunlamula mpwenu jo? Pane uli alakwe kunjalusya mpwenu jo? Pakuŵa uweji wose tutujime paujo pa chitengu cha ulamusi cha Akunnungu.
But you, why do you judge your brother? And you too, why do you look down on your brother? Because we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ.
11 Pakuŵa mpela Malembelo ga Akunnungu yagakuti pakusala, Ambuje akuti, “Isyene indite kuŵa Akunnungu jwanjumi, kila mundu chachitindiŵala paujo pangu ni kila mundu chachijitichisya kuŵecheta nsyene kuti Une ndili Akunnungu jwanjumi.”
For it is written: “‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall acknowledge God.’”
12 Kwayele, kila jwalijose pasikati jetu chaliŵalanje nsyene kwa aila iyaitesile paujo pa Akunnungu.
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
13 Nipele, tukasalamulana twachinsyene nambo tulilolechesye, mundu akasammichila njakwe chakukuŵasya pane kuntenda agwilile mu sambi.
Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another, but rather resolve this: not to put a stumbling block or pitfall in a brother's way.
14 Une jwanumbikene ni Ambuje Che Yesu, ngumanyilila kuti ngapagwa chakulya chachili chakusakala paujo pa Akunnungu. Nambo mundu aganisyaga kuti chakulya chine chili chakusakala paujo pa Akunnungu, chele chakulya cho chili chakusakala kwa jwelejo.
I know and have been convinced by Sovereign Jesus that nothing is unclean of itself (still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean),
15 Nambo mwansupusyaga mpwenu kwa ligongo lya yakulya inkulya, nlesile kutenda mu unonyelo. Chakulya chinkulya chikaŵa ligongo lya kunsoyasya mpwenu juŵawililwe ni Kilisito.
but if your brother is offended because of food, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not, with your food, ruin someone for whom Christ died.
16 Iyoyo kasinjitichisya kuti chindu chinkuchiwona ŵanyamwe chambone chijaluswe.
So do not let your good be slandered;
because the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in Holy Spirit.
18 Pakuŵa mundu jwalijose jwakuntumichila Kilisito kwanti yeleyo, akwanonyelesya Akunnungu, sooni akukundikwa ni ŵandu.
For whoever serves the Christ in these things is satisfying to God and approved by men.
19 Nipele, iŵaga yeleyo, tulimbile nnope kutendekanya indu yaikwikanawo chitendewele ni yaikutukamuchisya kulimbisyana mitima mu chikulupi.
So then, let us pursue the things that promote peace and the things by which one may edify another.
20 Kasingajonanga masengo ga Akunnungu kwa ligongo lya yakulya. Isyene yakulya yose yeswejeswe, nambo ngaŵa yambone kulya chakulya chachikuntendekasya jwine agwilile mu sambi.
Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are ‘clean’; however it is wrong for the man who gives offence by eating.
21 Ili yambone kuleka kulya nyama ni kung'wa divai, pane kuleka ineine yaikukombola kuntendekasya mpwenu agwilile mu sambi.
It is good not to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is weakened.
22 Chikulupi chinkwete cho chisigalile kukwenu ni Akunnungu. Jwana upile jwelejo jwangakulilamula nsyene, pakuŵa akukulupilila kuti aila yaitesile ikwanonyelesya Akunnungu.
Do you have faith? Have it privately before God. Happy is he who does not judge himself in what he approves.
23 Nambo mundu jwakwete lipamba ni indu yakulya, Akunnungu akunlamula pakulya pakuŵa chakuchitenda akutenda pangali chikulupi. Ni chindu chachili chose chakupanganya mundu iŵaga akuchipanganya pangali chikulupi, chelecho chili sambi.
But he who eats with doubt stands condemned, because it is not from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
