Chiunukuko 1
1 Achichi ni chiunukuko chi Che Yesu Kilisito chiŵapegwile ni Akunnungu kuti ŵalosye ŵakutumichila ŵakwe ichiiwoneche pangakaŵa. Kilisito ŵantumile katumetume jwa kwinani jwakwe ŵamanyisye katumetume jwakwe che Yohana yeleyo.
Jesus Christ's revelation, which God gave Him to show to His slaves—things that must occur shortly. And He communicated it, sending it by His angel to His slave John,
2 Nombe che Yohana ŵasasile yose iŵaiweni nkati Liloŵe lya Akunnungu ni umboni u Che Yesu Kilisito.
who gave witness to the word of God, even the testimony of Jesus Christ—the things that He saw, both things that are and those that must happen after these.
3 Akwete upile mundu jwakusyoma maloŵe ga utenga waukulondola, akwete upile ŵakupilikana ni kukamulisya gagalembekwe mwelemu, pakuŵa moŵa gakutyochela indu yi gaŵandichile.
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it; because the time is near.
4 Une che Yohana ngujilembela mipingo saba ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito jajili ku chilambo cha Asia. Umbone uŵe kukwenu ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu jwapali ni juŵapali ni juchaiche, ni kutyochela kwa mbumu saba syasili mmbujo mwa chitengu cha umwenye,
John, to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the sevenfold Spirit who is before His throne,
5 ni kutyochela ku Che Yesu Kilisito. Jwaumboni jwakukulupilichika ni jwaandanda kusyusikwa, ni jwakwatawala mamwenye ŵa pachilambo. Ŵelewo akutunonyela, ni kwa miasi jao atulechelele kutyochela mu kutaŵikwa ni sambi syetu.
and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins with His own blood
6 Atutesile tuŵe ŵambopesi mu umwenye kuti twatumichile Akunnungu Atati ŵao. Ku Che Yesu Kilisito upagwe Ukulu ni ukombole moŵa gose pangali mbesi! Eloo. (aiōn g165)
—indeed, He made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 Nnole chaiche mmaunde ni mundu jwali jose chiŵawone. Nombe aŵala ŵaŵansomile ni mpamba, ni ŵandu ŵa ngosyo syose sya pachilambo chalile malilo ligongo lyao. Eloo.
Take note, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will beat their breasts [in dismay] because of Him. Yea, verily!
8 Ambuje Akunnungu jwali ni ukombole wose, jwapali ni juŵapali ni juchaiche akuti, “Une ndili jwaandanda ni jwambesi.”
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “He who is and who was and who is coming, The Almighty.”
9 Uneji che Yohana, mpwenu, jungulumbikana ni ŵanyamwe mmasauko ni mu umwenye wa Akunnungu ni mu upililiu kwa ligongo lya kwakulupilila Che Yesu Kilisito. Une ŵambeleche mu kutaŵikwa chilumba cha ku Patimo kwa ligongo lya kwalalichila ŵandu Liloŵe lya Akunnungu ni kuŵalanga umboni nkati Che Yesu.
I, John, your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Christ Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the Word of God and on account of the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 Pa lyuŵa lya Ambuje Mbumu jwa Akunnungu ŵanongwesye, ni napilikene liloŵe lyekulungwa mu nyuma jangu mpela kusona kwa lipenga,
I was in spirit on the Lord's day and I heard a voice behind me, loud as a trumpet,
11 lichitiji, “Nnembe mu chitabu chinkuchiwona ni kuchijausya kwa mipingo saba ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito, jajili mu misi ja Efeso ni Similina ni Peligamo ni Siatila ni Sadi ni Filadefia ni Laodikia.”
saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
12 Nipele nagalawiche naalole ŵelewo ŵakuŵecheta none. Mkugalauka mo, naiweni indu saba yakuŵichila imuli yaikolochekwe ni sahabu,
And there I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
13 ni pasikati jakwe indu yakuŵichila imuli paliji ni jumo jwali mpela Mwana jwa Mundu jwawasile mwinjilo weleu ni jwantaŵe mkaanda wa sahabu pantima wakwe.
and in the midst of the seven lampstands one similar to a son of man, clothed down to the feet and girded at the nipples with a golden belt.
14 Umbo syakwe syaliji syeswela mbee ni meeso gakwe ganyesimaga mpela mooto waukukolela.
Now His head, that is His hair, was white, like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire;
15 Makongolo gakwe gang'alime mpela shaba jajikundikwe uchenene pa mooto ni liloŵe lyao lyaliji mpela kukukuma kwa meesi.
and His feet were like fine brass, as when refined in a furnace; and His voice was like the sound of many waters;
16 Nombewo ŵakamulile ndondwa saba kunkono wao wa kundyo, ni mu kang'wa mwakwe mwakopweche lipanga lyenole kosekose ni ngope jao jaliji mpela lyuŵa lyalikuti kung'alima kwa machili gakwe gose.
and He had seven stars on His right hand and a sharp two-edged sword coming out of His mouth; and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
17 Noneji panammweni nagwilile pamakongolo gao mpela mundu jwawile. Nombejo ŵasajichile nkono wao wa kundyo achitiji, “Ngasinjogopa, une ni jwaandanda ni jwambesi.
And when I saw Him I fell at His feet as if dead. And He placed His right hand upon me saying: “Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,
19 Nipele, nnembe indu inkwiwona ni indu yaipali sambano jino ni indu yachiityochele paujo.
Therefore write the things that you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are going to occur after these.
20 Chantemela cha ndondwa saba simwasiweni ku nkono wangu wa kundyo, ni aila indu saba yakuŵichila imuli yekolochekwe ni sahabu imwaiweni ni chelechi: Asila ndondwa saba sili achikatumetume ŵa kwinani ŵakwima peuto pa mipingo saba ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito. Ni indu saba yakuŵichila imuli ili mipingo jisyene saba ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito.
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw upon my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the messengers of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands that you saw are seven churches.
