1 Une che Paolo jundaŵikwe kwa ligongo lya kwatumichila Che Yesu Kilisito. Une pamo ni che Timoseo nlongo njetu, tukunnembela alakwe che Filimoni jwakunonyelwa jwetu, ni junkupanganya masengo pamo nowe,
Paul a prisoner of Iesus Christ, and our brother Timotheus, vnto Philemon our deare friende, and fellowe helper,
2 ni kwa mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito wose waukusongangana mu nyuumba jenu, ni kwa alumbu ŵetu che Afia ni kwa che Alikipo jwangondo njetu.
And to our deare sister Apphia, and to Archippus our fellowe souldier, and to the Church that is in thine house:
3 Tukunsachilanga umbone ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu Atati ŵetu, ni Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
4 Nlongo njangu che Filimoni, katema kose pangupopela, ngunkumbuchila mmwe, ni kwatogolela Akunnungu ŵangu,
I giue thanks to my God, making mention alwaies of thee in my praiers,
5 pakuŵa ngupilikana inkuti pakwakulupilila Ambuje Che Yesu ni inkuti pakwanonyela ŵandu wose ŵa Akunnungu.
(When I heare of thy loue and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Iesus, and towarde all Saintes)
6 Ngumpopelela kwa Akunnungu kuti mme ni machili ga kwasalila ŵandu ŵane chikulupi chenu, kuti akombole kumanyilila indu yambone itukwete uwe ŵatulumbikene ni Kilisito.
That the fellowship of thy faith may bee made effectuall, and that whatsoeuer good thing is in you through Christ Iesus, may be knowen.
7 Nlongo njangu, unonyelo wenu usengwasisye kwannope ni kulimbisya ntima. Pakuŵa njisengwasisye mitima ja ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu.
For we haue great ioy and consolation in thy loue, because by thee, brother, the Saintes bowels are comforted.
8 Kwa ligongo lyo, naŵaga nlongo njenu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito, ngakombwele kunnajisya pangali lipamba mpanganye chinkusachilwa kuchipanganya,
Wherefore, though I bee very bolde in Christ to commaund thee that which is conuenient,
9 nambo kwa ligongo lya unonyelo, mmbaya nammende. Ngutenda yeleyi namuno uneji che Paolo jundi jwanchekulwipe, ni sambano ndaŵikwe kwa liwamba lya Che Yesu Kilisito.
Yet for loues sake I rather beseeche thee, though I be as I am, euen Paul aged, and euen nowe a prisoner for Iesus Christ.
10 Kwayele ngunchondelela munkamuchisye che Onesimo jwali mwanangu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito. Pakuŵa ndili atatigwe chimbumu kutyochela patwaliji pamo mu nyuumba jakutaŵilwa ŵandu.
I beseeche thee for my sonne Onesimus, whome I haue begotten in my bondes,
11 Jwelejo kalakala nganakola masengo kukwenu, nambo sambano akwete masengo kukwenu ni kukwangu.
Which in times past was to thee vnprofitable, but nowe profitable both to thee and to me,
12 Sambano ngummusya kukwenu, namuno ngwanonyela kwannope.
Whome I haue sent againe: thou therefore receiue him, that is mine owne bowels,
13 Ngasachile atame none papapa kuti angamuchisye pamalo penu pandili jwantawe ligongo naliji nkulalichila Ngani Jambone.
Whom I woulde haue reteined with mee, that in thy steade he might haue ministred vnto me in the bondes of the Gospel.
14 Ngangusaka kunkanganichisya mungamuchisye, nambo ngusaka mpanganye inkuti pakusaka mwasyene. Kwayele ngangupanganya chachilichose mpaka pachinsache.
But without thy minde woulde I doe nothing, that thy benefite should not be as it were of necessitie, but willingly.
15 Panepa lyeleli lili ligongo, che Onesimo ŵalekangene ni mmwe kwa katema, kuti auje sooni kukwenu ni kutama ni jwelejo moŵa gose pangali mbesi. (aiōnios g166)
It may be that he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receiue him for euer, (aiōnios g166)
16 Sambano jwelejo nganaŵa kapolo sooni nambo jwambone kumpunda kapolo, sambano jwelejo ali nlongo nkulumbikana ni Kilisito. Jwelejo ali jwambone nnope kwangune, nombe kukwenu chaŵe ŵambone mwakupunda, pakuŵa jwelejo ali njetu ni nlongo njenu kwa chiilu ni nkulumbikana ni Ambuje.
Not now as a seruant, but aboue a seruant, euen as a brother beloued, specially to me: howe much more then vnto thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord?
17 Nipele, iŵaga nkuumona ndili jwamasengo njenu, mumpochele che Onesmo mpela inkatite pakuumbochela une nansyene.
If therefore thou count our thinges common, receiue him as my selfe.
18 Iŵaga anneŵele chachili chose, pane akwete ligambo, chinanlipe.
If he hath hurt thee, or oweth thee ought, that put on mine accounts.
19 Une che Paolo ngulemba kwa nkono wangu nansyene kuti chilipe. Ngangusachilwa kunkumbusya kuti nkwete magambo kukwangu lyalili umi wenu.
I Paul haue written this with mine owne hande: I will recompense it, albeit I doe not say to thee, that thou owest moreouer vnto me euen thine owne selfe.
20 Kwayele, nlongo njangu, ngunchondelela mungamuchisye kwa litala li kwa liwamba lya Ambuje, sambano nti nlongo njangu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito, muunonyelesye ntima wangu.
Yea, brother, let mee obteine this pleasure of thee in the Lord: comfort my bowels in the Lord.
21 Ngunnembela njimanyililaga kuti chimumbilikanile, sooni ngumanyilila isyene kuti chimumpanganyichisye yakupunda ni ingusala yi.
Trusting in thine obedience, I wrote vnto thee, knowing that thou wilt do eue more then I say.
22 Pamo ni yose yi, mumichile chile chuumba chakugona, pakuŵa ngulolela kuti Akunnungu chajanje mapopelo genu ni une chinechelelwe ni chinanjimajimile.
Moreouer also prepare mee lodging: for I trust through your prayers I shall be freely giuen vnto you.
23 Che Epafula jwantawe pamo ni une kwa ligongo lya kwatumichila Kilisito Yesu akunkomasya.
There salute thee Epaphras my felowe prisoner in Christ Iesus,
24 Iyoyo che Maliko ni che Alisitako ni che Dema ni che Luka ŵakutumichila achinjangu akunkomasya.
Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas and Luke, my felowe helpers.
25 Umbone wa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito uŵe pamo ni ŵanyamwe wose.
The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen. ‘Written from Rome to Philemon, and send by Onesimus a seruant.’
