< Luka 15 >
1 Lyuŵa limo, ŵakukumbikanya nsongo ŵajinji ni ŵa sambi ŵajinji ŵaiche ku Che Yesu kukwapilikanila.
Now, all the publicans and the sinners resorted to Jesus, to hear him.
2 Mafalisayo ni ŵakwiganya Malajisyo ga che Musa ŵatandite kunyinyita achitiji, “Munnole mundu ju! Akwapochela ŵaali ni sambi, sooni akulya nawo pamo.”
But the Pharisees and the Scribes murmured, saying, This man admits sinners, and eats with them.
3 Che Yesu ŵaasalile chitagu chati,
Then he addressed this similitude to them:
4 “Ana jwapi mwa ŵanyamwe akolaga ngondolo mia moja, amanyililaga kuti jisoŵile jimo, ngakusileka asila tisini na tisa mwitinji ni kwaula kukujisosa jajisoŵile jila mpaka patajione?
What man, amongst you, who has a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the desert, to go after that which is lost, till he find it?
5 Ni patajione chajijigale mmakoyo, achisangalalaga.
And having found it, does he not joyfully lay it on his shoulders,
6 Pakwika kumangwao, chachaŵilanga achambusanga ŵao ni ŵapachiŵandi pao kwasalila, ‘Nsangalale pamo ni une, pakuŵa ngondolo jangu jijasoŵile jila najipatile.
and when he is come home, convene his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost?
7 Ngunsalila kuti kwati iyoyo peyo ni kutichiŵa sangalala kwinani kwa ligongo lya mundu jumo jwali ni sambi kuleka sambi, kupunda ŵandu ŵakupanganya yaili yambone paujo pa Akunnungu tisini na tisa ŵangakusaka kuleka sambi.
Thus, I assure you, there is greater joy in heaven for one sinner who reforms, than for ninety-nine righteous persons, who need no reformation.
8 “Atamuno tujile, jwankongwe jumpepe jwana mbiya likumi, asoyesyaga mbiya jimo, ngaapamba lumuli ni kupyajila nyuumba achisosaga uchenene mpaka ajisimane?
Or what woman, who has ten drachmas, if she lose one, does not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and search carefully till she find it?
9 Ajisimanaga, chachaŵilanga achambusanga ŵao ni ŵapachiŵandi pao ni kuti, ‘Nsangalale pamo ni une, pakuŵa mbiya jangu jijasoŵile jila najiweni.’
And having found it, does she not assemble her female friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost!
10 Ngunsalila, kwati iyoyo peyo ni yakuti pakusangalala achikatumetume ŵa kwinani ŵa Akunnungu ligongo lya jumo jwalesile sambi.”
Such joy, I assure you, have the angels of God, when any sinner reforms.
11 Che Yesu ŵapundile kuŵecheta kwa chitagu achitiji, “Jwapali mundu jumo juŵakwete achachanda ŵaŵili.
He said, also, A certain man had two sons.
12 Jwannung'una jula ŵansalile atatigwe kuti, ‘Atati mumbe chigaŵanyo cha ipanje chachikung'wilila une.’ Nombewo ŵagaŵanyichisye wose ŵaŵili ipanje iŵakwete.
and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me my portion of the estate. And he allotted to them their shares.
13 Pangakaŵa moŵa, jwannung'una jula ŵajigele yakwe ila ni kwaula kuchilambo cha kutalika ni kweleko ŵatumie ipanje yakwe yose kwa wamba.
Soon after, the younger son gathered all together, and traveled into a distant country, and there wasted his substance in riot.
14 Payamalile yose, kwatyochele sala jajikulungwa mchilambo mo ni ŵatandite kuchenjeuka pakuŵa nganakola chindu.
When all was spent, a great famine came upon that land, and he began to be in want.
15 Ŵajawile kwa mundu jumo jwa mwele mchilambo kukuŵenda masengo, nombewo ŵanjawisye kungunda ŵao kukugagosa maguluŵe.
Then he applied to one of the inhabitants of the country, who sent him into his fields to keep swine.
16 Ŵalajile kulya chakulya cha maguluŵe gala nambo ngapagwa mundu juŵampele chindu.
And he desired to appease his hunger with the husks on which the swine were feeding; for no person gave him anything.
17 Paŵaimanyilile iŵaliji ŵakuloŵela kundanda ŵatite, ‘Ana kwana ŵamasengo ŵalingwa kwa atati ŵangu ŵakulyanga ni kusigasya, none ligongo chi nguwa sala?
At length, coming to himself, he said, How many hirelings has my father, who have all more bread than suffices them, while I perish with hunger!
18 Chimujile kwa atati ŵangu ni kwasalila, Atati une naleŵele Akunnungu ni nanneŵele nomwe ŵakwe.
I will arise, and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and you,
19 Nganguŵajilwa sooni kuŵilanjikwa mwanagwenu. Mundende mpela jumo jwa ŵamasengo ŵenu.’
and am no longer worthy to be called your son.
20 Ŵatandite ulendo kuuja kwa atati ŵao. “Paŵaliji kwakutalichila kanandi, atatigwe ŵambweni ni kunkolela chanasa ni ŵammutuchile ni kwakomasya kwa unonyelo.
And he arose, and went to his father. When he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and threw himself upon his neck, and kissed him.
21 Mwanagwao jula ŵansalile, ‘Atati, une naleŵele Akunnungu ni nanneŵele nomwe ŵakwe. Nganguŵajilwa sooni kuŵilanjikwa mwanagwenu.’
And the son said, Father, I have sinned against heaven and you, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.
22 Nambo atatigwe ŵaasalile achikapolo ŵao kuti, ‘Njanguye! Nkajigale chiwalo chambone mumwasye! Mumwasye pete ni italawanda!
But the father said to his servants, Bring here the principal robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his finger, and shoes on his feet:
23 Nkajijigale ng'ombe jamwana jakunakana jila njisikite, tulye ni kusangalala pamo!
bring also the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and be merry;
24 Pakuŵa mwanangu ju kwangu une ŵaliji mpela jwamwe, nambo ali jwanjumi, ŵaliji asoŵile nambo sambano awoneche.’ Ni ŵatandite kusangalala pamo.
for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. So they began to be merry.
25 “Kele katemako mwanagwao jwankulungwa jula ŵaliji ku ngunda. Paŵaujaga ni kuŵandichila kumangwao, ŵakupikene kwimba ni kutyala.
Now his elder son was in the field, walking home. And as he drew near the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 Ŵambilasile jwakutumichila jumo ni ŵambusisye kuti, ‘Ana kwana chichi?’
He, therefore, called one of the servants, and asked the reason of this.
27 Ni kapolo jula ŵanjanjile, ‘Apwenu ausile pamusi ni atati ŵenu asikite ng'ombe jamwana jakunakana ligongo lya ŵelewo pakuŵa ampochele ali jwanjumi.’
He answered, Your brother is returned, and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him in health.
28 “Nambo nchanda jwankulungwa jo ŵatumbile ni ŵakanile kwinjila nkati. Nipele atatigwe ŵakopweche ni kunchondelela kuti ajinjile.
And he was angry, and would not go in; therefore, his father came out, and entreated him.
29 Nambo ŵelewo ŵanjanjile atatigwe kuti, ‘Nnole! Yaka yejinji i nantumichile mpela kapolo ni nganingane kunjitichisya makanyo genu. Mumbele chichi? Nganimumba atamuno kambusi kuti sangalale pamo ni achambusanga ŵangu!
He answering, said to his father, These many years I have served you, without disobeying your command in anything; yet you never gave me a kid, that I might entertain my friends;
30 Nambo paŵaiche aju mwanagwenu jwajonasile chipanje chenu kwa kulaŵalaŵa, munsikitile jwelejo ng'ombe jamwana jakunakana jila.’
but no sooner did this, your son, return, who had squandered your living on prostitutes, than you killed for him the fatted calf.
31 Atatigwe ŵanjanjile kuti, ‘Mwanangu, mmwe nndi pamo none moŵa gose ni yose ingwete ili yenu.
Son, replied the father, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours:
32 Kwa yele yatuŵajile kutenda chindimba ni kusangalala, ligongo mpwenuju, kwanguune ŵaliji mpela jwamwe nambo sambano ali jwanjumi ni ŵaliji asoŵile nambo sambano awoneche.’”
it was but reasonable that we should rejoice and be merry; because this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.
