Yohana 20
1 Kundaŵi pe kukanaŵe kucha, lyuŵa lyaandanda lya chijuma pakumala Lyuŵa lya kupumulila, che Maliamu jwa ku Magidala ŵajawile ku lilembe, ni ŵaliŵeni liganga lila lili lyegalambule pambali kutyochela pakwinjilila mwilembe.
Now on the first [day] of the week Mary Magdalene comes early when dark still it being to the tomb and she sees the stone removed from the tomb.
2 Nipele, ŵautuchile ku che Simoni Petulo ni ajula jwakulijiganya jwine juŵanonyelwe nnope ni Che Yesu ni kwasalila, “Achikopwesye chiilu cha Ambuje mwilembe mula, ni sooni ngatukukumanyilila kwapi ambisile.”
She runs therefore and she comes to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom was loving Jesus and she says to them; They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and not we know where they have laid Him.
3 Che Petulo pamo ni jwakulijiganya jwine jula ŵajawile ku lilembe.
Went forth therefore Peter and the other disciple and were coming to the tomb;
4 Wose ŵanaŵaŵili ŵautwiche nambo jwakulijiganya jwine jula jwampundile che Petulo, jwaliji jwaandanda kwika ku lilembe.
Were running now the two together; and the other disciple ran ahead quicker than Peter and came first to the tomb,
5 Paŵakoteme ni kulingulila, ŵasiweni nguo syeswela pe, nambo nganajinjila.
And having stooped down he sees lying [there] the linen cloths, not however he entered.
6 Nipele, che Simoni Petulo nombejo ŵaiche achakuyaga, ŵajinjile mwilembe ni ŵasiweni nguo syeswela sisyaŵijilile chiilu chi Che Yesu,
Comes then (also *no*) Simon Peter following after him and he entered into the tomb and sees the linen cloths lying [there]
7 ni chiguo chiŵammijilile Che Yesu mu ntwe. Chiguo chila nganichiŵa pamo ni nguo syeswela sila, nambo chaliji chepinde ni chaliji pajika.
and the soudarion which was upon the head of Him not with the linen cloths lying but by itself folded up in a place.
8 Pelepo jwakulijiganya jwine juŵalongolele kwika ku lilembe jula, nombejo ŵajinjile nkati, ni ŵaiweni ni kukulupilila.
Then therefore entered also the other disciple having come first to the tomb and he saw and believed;
9 Ŵaliji nganaŵe kugamanya Malembelo ga Akunnungu gagakuti Che Yesu akusachilwa asyuche.
not yet for they knew the Scripture that it is necessary for Him out from [the] dead to rise.
10 Nipele ŵakulijiganya wo ŵausile kumangwao.
Went away therefore again to (their [homes] *N(k)O*) the disciples.
11 Che Maliamu ŵajimi paasa lilembe, achililaga. Paŵalilaga, ŵakoteme achilingulilaga mwilembe mula,
Mary however had stood at (the tomb *N(k)O*) outside weeping. As therefore she was weeping, she stooped down into the tomb,
12 ni ŵaweni achikatumetume ŵa kwinani ŵaŵili ŵaŵawasile iwalo yeswela, atemi paŵachigoneche chiilu chi Che Yesu pala jumo kuntwe ni jwine ku makongolo.
and she sees two angels in white sitting one at the head and one at the feet, where was laying the body of Jesus.
13 Ni achikatumetume ŵa kwinani wo ŵambusisye, “Amao, nkulila ichichi?” Ni ŵajanjile, “Achikopwesye chiilu cha Ambuje ŵangu, ni sooni ngangukumanyilila kwapi achiŵisile!”
And say to her they; Woman, why weep you? She says to them; Because they have taken away the Lord of mine, and not I know where they have laid Him.
14 Nipele che Maliamu paŵamasile kuŵecheta yeleyo, ŵagalawiche panyuma ni kwaona Che Yesu ali ajimi pelepo, nambo nganaimanyilila kuti jwelejo ali Che Yesu.
(and *k*) These things having said she turned to the back and she sees Jesus already standing [there] and not knew that (*k*) Jesus it is.
15 Che Yesu ŵambusisye, “Amao, ana nkulilila ichichi? Ana nkwasosa ŵaani?” Che Maliamu akuno achiganisyaga kuti akukunguluka ni jwakuugosa ngunda wa mwana, ŵajanjile, “Achimwene, iŵaga mmwejo nchijigele chiilu chi Che Yesu, musalile kunchiŵisile ni uneji chingachijigale.”
Says to her (*k*) Jesus; Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? She thinking that the gardener He is she says to Him; Sir, if you yourself carried off him, do tell me where you have laid Him, and I myself and I myself him will take away.
16 Che Yesu ŵansalile, “Che Maliamu!” Ni che Maliamu ŵagalawiche panyuma, ni kwasalila Mchiebulania, “Laboni!” Malumbo gakwe “Jwakwiganya.”
Says to her (*k*) Jesus; (Mary. *N(k)O*) Having turned around she says to Him (in Hebrew; *NO*) Rabboni, that is to say, Teacher.
17 Che Yesu ŵansalile, “Nkangamula, pakuŵa ngunaŵe kwaula kwa Atati. Nambo njaule kwa achalongo achinjangu nkaasalile kuti, ngwaula kwa Atati ŵangu ŵaali Atati ŵenu, Akunnungu ŵangu ŵaali Akunnungu ŵenu.”
Says to her (*k*) Jesus: Not Me do yourself touch; not yet for have I ascended to the Father (of mine. *ko*) do go however to the brothers of Mine and do say to them; I am ascending to the Father of Mine and Father of you and [to] God of Mine and God of you.
18 Nipele che Maliamu jwa ku Magidala ŵajawile kukwasalila ŵakulijiganya kuti, ŵaweni Ambuje ni ŵaasalile achila chiŵasalilwe ni Che Yesu.
Comes Mary Magdalene (reporting *N(k)O*) to the disciples that (I have seen *N(K)O*) the Lord, and [that] these things He had said to her.
19 Lyaliji ligulo lya lyuŵa lyaandanda lya chijuma pakumala Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila. Ŵakulijiganya ŵao ŵasongangene pamo mu nyuumba ni minango jaliji jeugale ligongo lya kwajogopa achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi. Pelepo ŵaiche Che Yesu ni kwima pasikati jao ni kwasalila, “Chitendewele kukwenu!”
When is being therefore evening of the day same the first (*k*) of [the] week and the doors shut where were the disciples (assembled *K*) through the fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst and He says to them; Peace to you.
20 Paŵamasile kuŵecheta yeleyo, Che Yesu ŵalosisye makono gao ni luŵalati lwao. Nipele ŵakulijiganya wo ŵasengwile nnope kwawona Ambuje.
And this having said He showed (also *O*) the hands and the side (of him *k*) to them. Rejoiced then the disciples having seen the Lord.
21 Che Yesu ŵaasalile sooni, “Chitendewele kukwenu! Mpela ila Atati iŵandumile une, ni uneji nguntuma ŵanyamwe.”
Said therefore to them Jesus again; Peace to you; even as has has sent forth me the Father I myself also I myself also send you.
22 Paŵamasile kuŵecheta yeleyo ŵapepelele ni kwasalila, “Mumpochele Mbumu jwa Akunnungu.
And this having said He breathed on [them] and He says to them; do receive [the] Spirit Holy.
23 Mwalechelesyaga ŵandu sambi syao, ŵele ŵandu chalecheleswe, ni aŵala ŵangankwalechelesya, ŵele ŵandu ngalecheleswa.”
If of any you may forgive the sins, (they have been forgiven *N(k)O*) to them; If any you may retain, they have been retained.
24 Che Tomasi jumo jwa ŵakulijiganya likumi ni ŵaŵili ŵala, jwakuŵilanjikwa maŵila, nganaŵa pamo ni achinjakwe paŵaiche Che Yesu.
Thomas however one of the Twelve who is being named Didymus not was with them when came (*k*) Jesus.
25 Nipele ŵakulijiganya ŵane ŵala ŵansalile, “Twaweni Ambuje.” Che Tomasi ŵaasalile, “Chingulupilile pachinagawone maŵasi ga misumali ni kuchiŵika chala changu pa maŵasi go ni kuuŵika nkono wangu pa luŵalati lwao.”
Were saying therefore to him the other disciples; We have seen the Lord. But he said to them; Only unless I shall see in the hands of Him the mark of the nails and shall put the finger of mine into the mark of the nails and shall put my hand into the side of Him, certainly not shall I believe.
26 Nipele pagapite moŵa nsano ni gatatu ŵakulijiganya wo ŵasongangene sooni nkati mula ni che Tomasi ŵaliji pamo nawo. Minango jaliji jeugale, ni Che Yesu ŵaiche ni kwima pasikati jao ni kuti, “Chitendewele kukwenu!”
And after days eight again were inside the disciples of Him and Thomas with them. Comes Jesus when the doors shut And He stood in the midst and said; Peace to you.
27 Nipele Che Yesu ŵansalile che Tomasi, “Mbiche chala chenu pelepa nnole magasa gangu ni njisenawo nkono wenu mbiche pa luŵalati lwangu. Nkakola lipamba nambo nkulupilile!”
Then He says to Thomas; do bring the finger of you here and do see the hands of Me, and do bring the hand of you and do put [it] into the side of Me, and not do be unbelieving but believing.
28 Che Tomasi ŵajanjile, “Mmwe ndi Ambuje ŵangu ni mmwe ndi Akunnungu ŵangu!”
(and *k*) Answered (*k*) Thomas and said to Him; O Lord of Mine and O God of mine!
29 Che Yesu ŵansalile, “Ana nkukulupilila ligongo muuweni? Akwete upile ŵelewo ŵakukulupilila pangamona.”
Says to him Jesus; Because you have seen Me (Thomas *k*) you have believed; blessed [are] those not having seen yet having believed.
30 Che Yesu ŵapanganyisye imanyisyo ine yejinji paŵaliji ni ŵakulijiganya ŵao yanganiilembekwe mchitabu chi.
Many indeed therefore also other signs did Jesus in the presence of the disciples of Him which not are written in book this.
31 Nambo ayiyi ilembekwe nkole kukulupilila kuti Che Yesu ali Kilisito Jwakuwombola, Mwana jwa Akunnungu ni kwa kunkulupilila nkole umi wausyene kwa machili ga liina lyao.
these however have been written that (you may believe *NK(o)*) that (*k*) Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that believing life you may have in the name of Him.
