Yohana 18
1 Che Yesu paŵamasile kupopela, ŵajombweche kasulo ka Keduloni pamo ni ŵakulijiganya ŵao. Pelepo paliji ni ngunda wa mwana, nombe Che Yesu ŵajinjile mwelemo pamo ni ŵakulijiganya ŵao.
Whanne Jhesus hadde seid these thingis, he wente out with hise disciplis ouer the strond of Cedron, where was a yerd, in to which he entride, and hise disciplis.
2 Che Yuda, ajula juŵangalawiche Che Yesu, ŵapamanyilile pelepo ligongo kaŵili kaŵili Che Yesu ŵasimene ni ŵakulijiganya ŵao kweleko.
And Judas, that bitrayede hym, knew the place, for ofte Jhesus cam thidur with hise disciplis.
3 Nipele che Yuda ŵajawile ku wele ngunda wo, ŵajawile pamo ni mpingo wa ŵangondo ŵa Chiloma ni ŵakulindilila Nyuumba ja Akunnungu ŵaŵalajiswe ni achakulu ŵambopesi ni Mafalisayo, ali ajigele ibatali ni mimuli ni yakumenyanila.
Therfor whanne Judas hadde takun a cumpany of knyytis, and mynystris of the bischopis and of the Fariseis, he cam thidur with lanternys, and brondis, and armeris.
4 Che Yesu, akuno achimanyililaga ichiyasimane yose, ŵajaulile ni ŵausisye, “Ana nkwasosa ŵaani?”
And so Jhesus witynge alle thingis that weren to come on hym, wente forth, and seide to hem, Whom seken ye?
5 Nombewo ŵajanjile, “Che Yesu jwa ku Nasaleti!” Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Ndili une.” Che Yuda juŵangalawiche jula ŵajimi pelepo pamo ni ŵanyawo.
Thei answeriden to hym, Jhesu of Nazareth. Jhesus seith to hem, Y am. And Judas that bitraiede hym, stood with hem.
6 Nipele Che Yesu paŵaasalile, “Ndili une,” ŵanyawo ŵaujile panyuma ni kugwa.
And whanne he seide to hem, Y am, thei wenten abak, and fellen doun on the erthe.
7 Che Yesu ŵausisye sooni, “Ana nkwasosa ŵaani?” Ni ŵajanjile, “Che Yesu jwa ku Nasaleti!”
And eft he axide hem, Whom seken ye? And thei seiden, Jhesu of Nazareth.
8 Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Nansalile kuti ndili une. Iŵaga nkuusosa une, mwaleche ŵanyaŵa ajaule.”
He answeride to hem, Y seide to you, that Y am; therfor if ye seken me, suffre ye these to go awei.
9 Ŵaŵechete yeleyo kuti gamalile maloŵe gagatite, “Atati, nganinanjasa mundu jwalijose mwa ŵeŵala umwambele.”
That the word which he seide schulde be fulfillid, For Y loste not ony of hem, whiche thou `hast youun to me.
10 Che Simoni Petulo ŵakwete lipanga, nipele, ŵalisolomwele ni kwakata liwiwi lyao lya kundyo kapolo jwa Jwambopesi Jwankulu. Kapolo jo liina lyakwe che Maliko.
Therfor Symount Petre hadde a swerd, and drow it out, and smoot the seruaunt of the bischop, and kittide of his riyt eer. And the name of the seruaunt was Malcus.

Therfor Jhesus seide to Petre, Putte thou thi swerd in to thi schethe; wolt thou not, that Y drynke the cuppe, that my fadir yaf to me?
12 Wele mpingo wa ŵangondo ŵa Chiloma ni jwankulu jwao pamo ni ŵakulindilila ŵa Chiyahudi ŵankamwile Che Yesu ni kuntaŵa.
Therfor the cumpenye of knyytis, and the tribune, and the mynystris of the Jewis, token Jhesu, and bounden hym,
13 Ŵanjigele ni kunjausya kaje ku che Anasi. Che Anasi ŵaliji akwegwao che Kayafa juŵaliji Jwambopesi Jwankulu chele chaka cho.
and ledden hym first to Annas; for he was fadir of Caifas wijf, that was bischop of that yeer.
14 Che Kayafa ju ni jwejula juŵaasalile achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi kuti, ikuŵajilwa mundu jumo aweje kwaligongo lya ŵandu wose.
And it was Caifas, that yaf counsel to the Jewis, that it spedith, that o man die for the puple.
15 Che Simoni Petulo pamo ni jwakulijiganya jwine ŵakuiye Che Yesu. Jwakulijiganya jwine jo ŵamanyiche ku Jwambopesi Jwankulu, nipele ŵajinjile pamo ni Che Yesu pansana pao Jwambopesi Jwankulu.
But Symount Petre suede Jhesu, and another disciple; and thilke disciple was knowun to the bischop. And he entride with Jhesu, in to the halle of the bischop;
16 Nambo che Petulo ŵajimi paasa, kuŵandikana ni nnango. Nipele, jwakulijiganya jwine juŵamanyiche kwa Jwambopesi Jwankulu jula ŵakopweche ni kuŵecheta nawo mwali jwakulindilila pannango, ni ŵansalile che Petulo ajinjile nkati.
but Petre stood at the dore with outforth. Therfor `the tother disciple, that was knowun to the bischop, wente out, and seide to the womman that kepte the dore, and brouyte in Petre.
17 Mwali jwakulindilila pannango jula ŵambusisye che Petulo, “Ana mmwejo nganimma jumo jwa ŵakulijiganya ŵa mundu jo?” Che Petulo ŵajanjile, “Ngaŵa une!”
And the damysel, kepere of the dore, seide to Petre, Whether thou art also of this mannys disciplis? He seide, Y am not.
18 Pakuŵa kaliji katema ka mbepo, achikapolo ni ŵakulindilila ŵakolesisye mooto ni ŵaliji nkuotanga. Che Petulo nombejo ŵajimi pamo nawo achijotelaga mooto.
And the seruantis and mynystris stooden at the coolis, for it was coold, and thei warmyden hem; and Petre was with hem, stondynge and warmynge hym.
19 Nipele Jwambopesi Jwankulu ŵambusisye Che Yesu nkati ŵakulijiganya ŵao ni sooni nkati majiganyo gao.
And the bischop axide Jhesu of hise disciplis, and of his techyng.
20 Che Yesu ŵajanjile, “Mechete yose pelanga ni ŵandu wose. Moŵa gose najiganisye mmajumba ga kupopelela ni pa Nyuumba ja Akunnungu, mwakusimanilana Ŵayahudi wose, ni nganimecheta chachili chose kwakulisisa.
Jhesus answerde to hym, Y haue spokun opynli to the world; Y tauyte euermore in the synagoge, and in the temple, whider alle the Jewis camen togidere, and in hiddlis Y spak no thing.
21 Ligongo chi nkumusya une? Mwausye ŵandu ŵaŵapilikene indu inaasalile. Ŵelewo akwimanyilila inaŵechete.”
What axist thou me? axe hem that herden, what Y haue spokun to hem; lo! thei witen, what thingis Y haue seid.
22 Paŵamasile kuŵecheta yeleyo jumo jwao ŵakulindilila juŵajimi pelepo ŵamputile Che Yesu lijanda achitiji, “Uli, ana yelei ni inkuti pakunjanga Jwambopesi Jwankulu?”
Whanne he hadde seid these thingis, oon of the mynystris stondynge niy, yaf a buffat to Jhesu, and seide, Answerist thou so to the bischop?
23 Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Iŵaga mechete yangalumbana, nlosye changalumbana cho nambo iŵaga mechete yambone ana nkuumbutila ichichi?”
Jhesus answeride to hym, If Y haue spokun yuel, bere thou witnessyng of yuel; but if Y seide wel, whi smytist thou me?
24 Nipele che Anasi ŵanjigele Che Yesu ali ataŵikwe ni kunjausya ku che Kayafa Jwambopesi Jwankulu.
And Annas sente hym boundun to Caifas, the bischop.
25 Nambo che Simoni Petulo ŵaliji pelepo alinkujotela mooto. Nipele ŵambusisye, “Ana mmwejo nombe nganimma jumo jwa ŵakulijiganya ŵao?” Che Petulo ŵakanile ni kuti, “Ngaŵa une!”
And Symount Petre stood, and warmyde him; and thei seiden to hym, Whether also thou art his disciple? He denyede, and seide, Y am not.
26 Jumo jwao achikapolo ŵa Jwambopesi Jwankulu ŵaliji pelepo. Jweleju ni nlongo njakwe mundu jula juŵankatile liwiwi ni che Petulo, ŵambusisye, “Ana uneji nganinammona mmwejo mungunda wa mwana pamo ni Che Yesu?”
Oon of the bischops seruantis, cosyn of hym, whos eere Petre kitte of, seide, Say Y thee not in the yerd with hym?
27 Nambo che Petulo ŵakanile sooni, ni papopo tambala jatongwele.
And Petre eftsoone denyede, and anoon the cok crew.
28 Kundaŵi pe ŵakulindilila ŵanjigele Che Yesu kopoka mu nyuumba ji Che Kayafa, ni kunjausya mu nyuumba ja mwenye jwa Chiloma. Nambo achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi nganajinjila nkati mwa nyuumba ja mwenye jwa Chiloma kuti aŵe ŵaswejele paujo pa Akunnungu kuti akombole kulya chakulya cha Pasaka.
Thanne thei ledden Jhesu to Cayfas, in to the moot halle; and it was eerli, and thei entriden not in to the moot halle, that thei schulden not be defoulid, but that thei schulden ete pask.
29 Che Pilato ŵakopweche paasa ni kwausya, “Ana kwana magambo chi kwa mundu ju?”
Therfor Pilat wente out with outforth to hem, and seide, What accusyng brynge ye ayens this man?
30 Nombewo ŵajanjile, “Mundu ju ngakaŵe ni magambo ngatukannyichenawo kukwenu.”
Thei answeriden, and seiden to hym, If this were not a mysdoere, we hadden not bitakun hym to thee.
31 Che Pilato ŵaasalile, “Ayaga, munjigale mwachinsyene, nkanlamule ni malajisyo genu.” Ŵayahudi ŵajanjile, “Uweji ngatukuŵajilwa kunlamula mundu jwalijose chiwa.”
Thanne Pilat seith to hem, Take ye hym, and deme ye him, after youre lawe. And the Jewis seiden to hym, It is not leueful to vs to sle ony man;
32 Yatendekwe yeleyo kuti gamalile maloŵe ga Che Yesu gaŵasasile achilosyaga chachiwa chiwa chanti uli.
that the word of Jhesu schulde be fulfillid, whiche he seide, signifiynge bi what deth he schulde die.
33 Che Pilato ŵajinjile sooni mu nyuumba jakwe, ŵammilasile Che Yesu ni kwausya, “Ana mmwejo ni Mwenye jwa Ŵayahudi?”
Therfor eftsoone Pilat entride in to the moot halle, and clepide Jhesu, and seide to hym, Art thou kyng of Jewis?
34 Che Yesu ŵajanjile, “Ana gele maloŵe go genu, pane ŵandu ŵane ansalile ngani jangu?”
Jhesus answerde, and seide to hym, Seist thou this thing of thi silf, ether othere han seid to thee of me?
35 Che Pilato ŵajanjile, “Ana nkuganisya uneji ndili Myahudi? Ŵandu ŵenu ni achakulu ŵambopesi annyichisye mmwejo kukwangu. Ana ntesile ichichi?”
Pilat answeride, Whether Y am a Jewe? Thi folc and bischops bitoken thee to me; what hast thou don?
36 Che Yesu ŵajanjile, “Umwenye wangu nganiuŵa wa pachilambo pano. Ikaŵe umwenye wangu uli wa pachilambo pano, ŵakunguya akatesile ngondo kuti achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi anaangamule. Nambo sambano umwenye wangu nganiuŵa wa pachilambo pa.”
Jhesus answeride, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my mynystris schulden stryue, that Y schulde not be takun to the Jewis; but now my kingdom is not here.
37 Pelepo che Pilato ŵammusisye, “Ana mmwejo ndi Mwenye?” Che Yesu ŵajanjile, “Mmwe nkuti uneji ndili Mwenye. Kwa ligongo lyo uneji mbagwile ni kwika pachilambo kukwasalila ŵandu usyene. Mundu jwalijose jwakuunonyela usyene akumbilikana.”
And so Pilat seide to hym, Thanne `thou art a king. Jhesus answeride, Thou seist, that Y am a king. To this thing Y am borun, and to this Y `am comun in to the world, to bere witnessing to treuthe. Eche that is of treuthe, herith my vois.
38 Che Pilato ŵambusisye, “Usyene ni chichi?” Nipele che Pilato ŵakopweche paasa ni kwasalila Ŵayahudi, “Ngangugawona magambo gagaligose ga kunlamula mundu ju.
Pilat seith to hym, What is treuthe? And whanne he hadde seid this thing, eft he wente out to the Jewis, and seide to hem, Y fynde no cause in hym.
39 Nambo nkwete chisyoŵelo chakuti uneji ngungopolela jwantawe jumo katema ka Pasaka. Nipele ana nkusaka nangopolele Mwenye jwa Ŵayahudi?”
But it is a custom to you, that Y delyuere oon to you in pask; therfor wole ye that Y delyuere to you the kyng of Jewis?
40 Pelepo ŵanyanyisye, “Ngaŵa, ngaŵa ajuju! Tukwasaka che Balaba!” Nombe che Balaba ŵaliji jwachiswamba.
Alle crieden eftsoone, and seiden, Not this, but Baraban. And Barabas was a theef.
