1 Sambano mpilikane ŵanyamwe ŵaipanje! Nlile ni kulila kwa malumbo kwa ligongo lya kulaga kwakukunnyichilila.
Goo to now ye ryche men. Wepe and howle on youre wretchednes that shall come apon you.
2 Ipanje yenu iwosile ni minjilo jenu jililikwe ni chimbulukuku.
Youre ryches is corrupte youre garmentes are motheaten.
3 Sahabu jenu ni mbiya syenu sikamwile ukutu ni ukutu wakwe chiuŵe umboni pasikati jenu pakuŵa chiijonanje iilu yenu mpela mooto yaukuti kutinisya. Ŵanyamwe nliunjichile ipanje kwa moŵa ga mbesi.
Youre golde and youre silver are cankred and the rust of them shalbe a witnes vnto you and shall eate youre flesshe as it were fyre. Ye have heaped treasure togedder in youre last dayes:
4 Nganimwalipa aŵala ŵaŵapangenye masengo mmigunda mwenu. Mpilikanile yakuti kulalatila, kulila kwa ŵandu ŵakugowola mmigunda jenu kuiche mmapikanilo ga Ambuje ŵaali ni ukombole.
Beholde the hyre of ye labourers which have reped doune youre feldes (which hyer is of you kept backe by fraude) cryeth: and ye cryes of them which have reped are entred into the eares of the lorde Sabaoth.
5 Ntemi mchilambo kwa utame wakulisengwasya kwannope. Nlijimbesye mwachinsyene mpela ng'ombe jajili chile kwa lyuŵa lya kusingwa.
Ye have lived in pleasure on the erth and in wantannes. Ye have norysshed youre hertes as in a daye of slaughter.
6 Mwalamwile ni kwaulaga ŵandu ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu, ŵanganankanila ŵanyamwe.
Ye have condempned and have killed the iust and he hath not resisted you.
7 Kwayele achalongo achinjangu, mpililileje mpaka pataiche Ambuje. Nlole jwakulima yakuti pakulindilila kwa kupililila aila yaipandile, isogosye magungulo gambone ni yakuti pakujilindilila ula jandanda ni jambesi.
Be pacient therfore brethren vnto the commynge of the lorde. Beholde the husbande man wayteth for the precious frute of the erth and hath longe pacience ther vppon vntill he receave (the erly and the latter rayne.)
8 Iyoyo peyo ni ŵanyamwe ŵakwe mpililile, nkole mitima jakulimba ligongo kwika kwa Ambuje kuŵandichile.
Be ye also pacient therfore and settle youre hertes for ye commynge of the lorde draweth nye.
9 Achalongo achinjangu, nkanyinyitilana mwachinsyene pe ntakulamulikwa ni Akunnungu. Jwakulamula aŵandichile kwika.
Grodge not one agaynst another brethre lest ye be dapned. Beholde the iudge stondeth before the dore.
10 Achalongo achinjangu, mwasakaga kulola chisyasyo cha kulindilila ni kupililila mmasausyo, mwakumbuchile ŵakulondola ŵaŵasalaga utenga wa kutyochela kwa Ambuje ni ŵanyamwe nsyasye chitagu chao.
Take (my brethren) the prophettes for an ensample of sufferynge adversitie and of longe pacience which spake in the name of the lorde.
11 Tukwaŵilanga ŵelewo akwete upile pakuŵa ŵapililile. Mpilikene ngani sya kupililila ku che Ayubu, ni nkwimanyilila Ambuje iŵantendele kumbesi. Pakuŵa Ambuje aguumbele chanasa ni umbone.
Beholde we counte them happy which endure. Ye have hearde of the pacience of Iob and have knowen what ende the lorde made. For the lorde is very pitifull and mercifull.
12 Kupunda yeleyo yose achinjangu nkalumbila kwa kwinani atamuno kwa chilambo atamuno kwa chindu chachili chose. Njileje, “Elo” iŵaga nkusaka kuti elo ni “Ngwamba” iŵaga nkusaka kuti ngwamba, pelepo nganlamulikwa ni Akunnungu.
But above all thynges my brethre sweare not nether by heven nether by erth nether by eny other othe. Let youre ye be ye and youre maye naye: lest ye faule into ypocrecy.
13 Ana apali mundu jwalijose mu mpingo wenu jwakusauka? Apopeleje. Jwakusangalala ajimbe nyimbo sya kulapa.
Yf eny of you be evyll vexed let him praye. Yf eny of you be mery let him singe Psalmes.
14 Ana apali mundu mu mpingo wenu jwakulwala? Ŵaŵilanje achakulu ilongola ŵa mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito ŵapopelele ni kwapakasya mauta mu liina lya Ambuje.
Yf eny be defeated amonge you let him call for the elders of the congregacion and let the praye over him and anoynte him with oyle in the name of the lorde:
15 Ni akula kupopelela kwa chikulupi chikunnamisye jwakulwala jo, nombe Ambuje chanlamye. Naga ŵatesile sambi, chalecheleswe.
and the prayer of fayth shall save the sicke and the lorde shall rayse him vp: and yf he have committed synnes they shalbe forgeuen him.
16 Nsalilane sambi syenu kwa jwine ni jwine ni kupopelelana kuti nlamiswe. Mapopelo gakwe mundu jwambone paujo pa Akunnungu gana machili gakupanganya gamajinji.
knowledge youre fautes one to another: and praye one for another that ye maye be healed. The prayer of a ryghteous ma avayleth moche yf it be fervet.
17 Che Elia ŵaliji mundu mpela uwe, ŵapopelele kwa kuchalila kuti jikanya ula ni nganijinya ula pachilambo yaka itatu ni miesi sita.
Helias was a man mortall even as we are and he prayed in his prayer that it myght not rayne: and it rayned not on the erth by the space of thre yeares and sixe monethes.
18 Nipele ŵapopelele sooni ni ula janyele kutyochela kumaunde ni chilambo chasogwesye magungulo.
And he prayed agayne and the heve gave rayne and the erth brought forth her frute.
19 Achalongo achinjangu, iŵaga mundu jwalijose mwa ŵanyamwe asochelaga ni kuuleka usyene, ni mundu jwine ammusyaga,
Brethren yf eny of you erre from the trueth and an other convert him
20 nipele mmanyilile kuti mundu jwalijose jwakummusya jwa sambi kutyochela nkusoya kwakwe, jwelejo chankulupusye mundu jo kutyochela mchiwa ni kwatenda Akunnungu ŵatyochesye sambi syao syejinji.
let the same knowe that he which converted the synner fro goynge a straye out of his waye shall save a soule fro deeth and shall hyde ye multitude of synnes.
