1 Achalongo achinjangu, iŵaga nkwakulupilila Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito, Ambuje ŵa ukulu, nkakola lusagu kwa ŵandu kwa kwalola ku meeso.
Brethren have not the fayth of oure lorde Iesus Christ the lorde of glory in respecte of persons.
2 Tujileje, mundu jumo awete pete jajikolochekwe kwa sahabu ni iwalo yakusalala, akwinjila mu nyuumba jenu ja kupopelela, nombe akwinjila mundu jwa usauchi jwana iwalo yakuwisala.
Yf ther come into youre company a man with a golden rynge and in goodly aparell and ther come in also a poore man in vyle rayment
3 Iŵaga ŵanyamwe nkunchimbichisya jwelejo jwawete iwalo yakusalala ni kunsalila “Ntameje apano pa chitengu chambone,” nambo ajula jwa usauchi nkunsalila, “Mwe, njimeje pelepo, pane ntameje paasi,”
and ye have a respecte to him that weareth the gaye clothynge and saye vnto him. Sit thou here in a good place: and saye vnto the poore stonde thou there or sit here vnder my fotestole:
4 ana lwele ngaŵa lusagu ni kulamula ko ngakukuika ni nganisyo syangalumbana?
are ye not parciall in youre selves and have iudged after evyll thoughtes?
5 Mpilikanile achalongo achinjangu ŵakunonyelwa! Ana Akunnungu nganiŵasagula ŵakulaga ŵa pachilambo kuti aŵe ŵachipanje mu chikulupi ni kupochela umwenye uŵalanjile aŵala ŵakwanonyela?
Harken my deare beloved brethren. Hath not God chosen the poore of this worlde which are ryche in fayth and heyres of the kyngdom which he promysed to them that love him?
6 Nambo ŵanyamwe nkunnyosya jwausauchi. Ana ngaŵa ŵachipanje ŵakunliŵatilanga ni kunjausyanga pa nkungulu?
But ye have despised the poore. Are not the rych they which opresse you: and they which drawe you before iudges?
7 Ana ngaŵa ŵanyawo ni ŵakulitukana alila liina lyambone lya Ambuje, jwati ŵanyamwe nli ŵandu ŵakwe?
Do not they speake evyll of that good name after which ye be named.
8 Naga isyene nkugajitichisya malajisyo gamakulu mu umwenye wa Akunnungu, gagali mu Malembelo ga Akunnungu gagakuti, “Munnonyele njenu jwammandichile mpela inkuti pakulinonyela mwasyene,” nkutendekanya yambone.
Yf ye fulfill the royall lawe accordynge to the scripture which sayth. Thou shallt love thyne neghbour as thy silfe ye do well.
9 Nambo iŵaga nkutenda lusagu kwa ŵandu kwa kwalola ku meeso nkutenda sambi ni malajisyo ga Akunnungu gakulosya kuti nganingajitichisya.
But yf ye regarde one person more then another ye commit synne and are rebuked of the lawe as transgressours.
10 Pakuŵa mundu jwangakujitichisya likanyo limo mmalajisyo gose ga Akunnungu, chaaŵe ngakugajitichisya malajisyo gose.
Whosoever shall kepe the whole lawe and yet fayle in one poynt he is gyltie in all.
11 Pakuŵa jwelejo juŵatite, “Nkatenda chikululu,” ni jujojo juŵatite, “Nkaulaga.” Iŵaga ngankutenda chigwagwa nambo nkuulaga, nkutema malajisyo.
For he that sayd. Thou shallt not commit adulterie sayed also: thou shallt not kyll. Though thou do none adulterie yet yf thou kill thou arte a transgresser of the lawe.
12 Nipele mmecheteje ni kupanganya mpela ŵandu ŵachalamulikwe malinga ni malajisyo gagakutuŵika ŵalechelelwe.
So speake ye and so do as they that shalbe iudged by the lawe of libertie.
13 Pakuŵa Akunnungu ngaalosya chanasa pachiŵalamule ŵandu ŵangalosya chanasa. Nambo ŵaali ni chanasa ngasajogopa kulamulikwa ko.
For ther shalbe iudgement merciles to him that sheweth no mercy and mercy reioyseth agaynst iudgement:
14 Achalongo achinjangu, ana mundu akukola chichi asalaga kuti ngwete chikulupi nambo ngakuchilosya kwa ipanganyo yambone? Ana chikulupi cho chichikombole kwakulupusya?
What a vayleth it my brethren though a man saye he hath sayth when he hath no dedes? Can fayth save him?
15 Tujileje, jwakukulupilila njetu jwannume pane jwankongwe nganakola chakuwala pane yakulya.
If a brother or a sister be naked or destitute of dayly fode
16 Mundu jumo jwenu ŵaasalilaga, “Njaulanje kwa chitendewele nkajotele mooto ni kwikuta,” pangaapa iyasoŵile mu kutama ana chakole chichi?
and one of you saye vnto them: Departe in peace God sende you warmnes and fode: not withstondinge ye geve the not tho thynges which are nedfull to the body: what helpeth it the?
17 Iyoyo peyo chikulupi pe iŵaga changali ipanganyo chiwile.
Eve so fayth yf it have no dedes is deed in it selfe.
18 Nambo mundu akombolaga kusala, “Mmwe nkwete chikulupi noneji ngwete ipanganyo.” Uneji chinyanje, “Munosye chikulupi chenu pangali ipanganyo noneji chinannosye chikulupi changu kwa ipanganyo yangu.”
Ye and a man myght saye: Thou hast fayth and I have dedes: Shewe me thy fayth by thy dedes: and I will shewe the my fayth by my dedes.
19 Mmwejo nkukulupilila kuti Akunnungu ali ŵamo, yambone. Nambo masoka nombego gakukulupilila iyoyo, nombego gakutetemela.
Belevest thou yt ther is one God? Thou doest well. The devyls also beleve and tremble.
20 Mmwe jwakuloŵela! Ana nkusaka kuloswa kuti chikulupi changali chipanganyo chiwile?
Wilt thou vnderstonde o thou vayne man that fayth with out dedes is deed?
21 Ana Atati ŵetu che Iblahimu ŵakundikwe uli ali ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu? Ŵakundikwe kwa chipanganyo paŵantyosisye a Isaka mwanagwao pa chilisa.
Was not Abraha oure father iustified thorow workes when he offered Isaac his sonne vpo the aultre?
22 Nkulola yakuti chikulupi chatesile masengo pamo ni chipanganyo chakwe ni chikulupi chatindimiswe kwa litala lya chipanganyo yakwe.
Thou seist how that fayth wrought with his dedes and through the dedes was the fayth made parfect:
23 Malembelo ga Akunnungu gala gamalile gagatite, “Che Iblahimu ŵankulupilile Akunnungu ni kwayele ŵakundikwe kuŵa ŵambone paujo pao.” Nombejo ŵaŵilanjikwe ambusanga jwa Akunnungu.
and ye scripture was fulfilled which sayth: Abraham beleved God and it was reputed vnto him for rightewesnes: and he was called the frede of God.
24 Nkulola kuti mundu akukundikwa kuŵa jwambone paujo pa Akunnungu kwa ipanganyo nambo ngaŵa kwa chikulupi pe.
Ye se then how that of dedes a man is iustified and not of fayth only.
25 Iyoyo peyo che Lahabu jwakulaŵalaŵa jula, ŵakundikwe jwambone paujo pa Akunnungu kwa ipanganyo yakwe paŵapochele ŵakusosasosa ni kwakoposya paasa kwa litala line.
Lyke wyse also was not Raab the harlot iustifyed thorow workes when she receaved the messengers and sent the out another waye?
26 Mpela ila chiilu pangali mbumu cheewe, iyoyo peyo chikulupi pangali ipanganyo chiwile.
For as the body with oute the sprete is deed eve so fayth with out dedes is deed
