1 Nipele, tukuŵajilwa kuukamulichisya nnope usyene utwaupilikene kuti tukaupelela.
Because of this we ought to give more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest we might slip away.
2 Pakuŵa aula utenga uwatangeswe ni achikatumetume ŵa kwinani kalakala waliji wa usyene, ni mundu jwalijose jwanganajitichisya ŵalamulikwe yaikuti pakusachilwa.
For if the word spoken through agents became certain, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,
3 Nipele, ana uwe chitulame chinauli natukuunyosya ukulupusyo wekulu wati nyi? Kundanda waŵechetekwe ni Ambuje nsyene, ni aŵala ŵaŵapilikene ŵala ŵatusalile kuti uli usyene.
how will we escape, having neglected so great a salvation? Which first, having taken to be spoken by the Lord, was verified for us by those who heard;
4 Iyoyo Akunnungu akulosya kuti ili isyene, kwa kutenda imanyisyo ni yakusimonjeka, ni kwapa ŵandu mituuka ja Mbumu jwa Akunnungu malinga ni iŵasachile nsyene.
God also testifying simultaneously by signs and wonders, and by various powers and distributions of the Holy Spirit according to his will.
5 Akunnungu nganiŵapa achikatumetume ŵa kwinani ulamusi wa kuchilongosya chilambo chachikwika, achila chitukuchisala.
For he did not subject the coming world to agents, about which we speak.
6 Nambo kwana liuto line Mmalembo ga Akunnungu likusala, “Ana mundu ali chindu chachi, chati mwakumbuchile, atamuno Mwana jwa mundu ali chindu chachi, chati mwagose?
But a certain man has somewhere testified, saying, What is man, that thou remember him? Or a son of man, that thou help him?
7 Nganimumpa mundu ukombole nti aula wa achikatumetume ŵa kwinani. Munchimbichisye kwannope mpela mwenye yakuti pakuchimbichikwa kwa kuwasikwa chindu mpela singwa.
Thou made him a little something less than the agents. Thou crowned him with glory and honor.
8 Mwaiŵisile yose paasi pa sajo syakwe.” Paikusalikwa kuti Akunnungu ŵambisile mundu jwakulongosya indu yose pangasigasya namuno chimo. Namose yeleyo mpaka sambano ngatukuwona achilongosyaga indu yose.
Thou subordinated all things under his feet. For in subordinating all things to him, he left nothing not subordinate to him. But now we do not yet see all things subordinated to him.
9 Nambo chitwawone Che Yesu ŵati kwa katema kakajipi nganapegwa ukombole nti wa achikatumetume ŵa kwinani kuti kwa umbone wa Akunnungu awe kwa liwamba lya ŵandu wose. Ni kwa ligongo lya masauko mpaka chiwa chao, sambano tukwawona ŵawasisye chindu mpela singwa ja ukulu ni luchimbichimbi.
But we see Jesus who has been made a little something less than the agents, who, because of the suffering of death, has been crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God he would taste of death for every man.
10 Yawoneche yambone kuti Akunnungu ŵaigumbile indu yose ni kuiŵika mpela yaitite kuwa. Ŵantesile Che Yesu aŵe jwamalilwe kwa litala lya masauko, kuti ŵaichisye ŵandu ŵajinji mu ukulu wakwe, pakuŵa Che Yesu ni jwakwalongosya ŵandu mu ukulupusyo.
For it was fitting for him, through whom are all things, and because of whom are all things, having brought many sons to glory, to make the pathfinder of their salvation fully perfect through sufferings.
11 Ŵelewo akwaswejesya ŵandu sambi syao, ni ŵelewo pamo ni aŵala ŵaŵaswejekwe, wose Atati ŵao ŵamope. Kwa ligongo lyo ngasikwatenda soni kwaŵilanga ŵandu wo achalongo achinjakwe.
For both he who sanctifies and those being sanctified are all of one, because of which reason he is not ashamed to call them brothers,
12 Ŵaasalile Akunnungu, “Chingaasalile ŵandu ŵangu aila intesile, chinanlape pakusongangana kunlamba.”
saying, I will declare thy name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to thee.
13 Sooni akuti, “Chinaaŵichile Akunnungu chilolelo changu.” Ni sooni akuti, “Une ndili apano pamo ni ŵanache ŵambele Akunnungu kuti aŵe achiŵanangu.”
And again, I will be a man who has trusted in him. And again, Behold, I and the children that God has given me.
14 Nipele, pakuŵa ŵanache ŵa mpela ila inkuti pakwaŵilanga ali ŵandu ŵaali ni chiilu ni miasi, Che Yesu asyene ŵaiche ni ŵaliji mpela ŵanyawo ni kulumbikana nawo mu undu wao. Ŵatesile yeleyo kuti kwa litala lya chiwa chao, ampunde Jwaulamba jwaali ni machili nkati chiwa,
Since therefore the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death he might make him who has the power of death impotent, that is, the devil.
15 kuti ŵakulupusye aŵala ŵaŵaliji mpela achikapolo mu utame wao wose kwa kuchijogopa chiwa.
And he might liberate these, as many as throughout all their lifetime were deserving of bondage, with a specter of death.
16 Pakuŵa isyene nganaika kukwakamuchisya achikatumetume ŵa kwinani, nambo ŵaiche kukwakamuchisya uŵelesi u che Iblahimu.
For he certainly did not embrace agents, but he embraced the seed of Abraham.
17 Ligongo lyo, ŵaliji mpela ŵandu yaali mu indu yose, kuti aŵe Jwambopesi jwao Jwankulu jwakukulupilichika ni jwali ni chanasa mu kwatumichila Akunnungu, kuti sambi sya ŵandu silecheleswe.
Therefore he was obligated to be made like his brothers in accordance with all things, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things toward God, in order to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 Ni pakuŵa asyene wo ŵalageswe paŵalinjikwe, akukombola kwakamuchisya aŵala ŵakulinjikwa.
For in that he himself has suffered, having been tempted, he is able to help those being tempted.
