1 Une che Paolo, Nduna jwa Kilisito Yesu kwa unonyelo wa Akunnungu ndili ni mpwanga jwetu che Timoseo,
PAUL, a legate of Jesus the Messiah by the pleasure of God, and Timothy a brother,
2 tukunnembela ŵanyamwe ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵankutama ku Kolosai, achinjetu ŵakukulupilichika mu kulumbikana ni Kilisito. Tukumpopelela umbone ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu Atati ŵetu.
to them who are at Colosse, the brethren, holy and believing in Jesus the Messiah: peace be with you, and grace from God our Father.
3 Moŵa gose patukumpopelela ŵanyamwe, tukwatogolela Akunnungu, Atati ŵa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, at all times, and pray for you;
4 Pakuŵa tupilikene inkuti pakwakulupilila Kilisito Yesu ni inkuti pakwanonyela ŵandu wose ŵa Akunnungu.
lo, ever since we heard of your faith in Jesus the Messiah, and of your love to all the saints;
5 Chikulupi chenu ni unonyelo wenu ikukulupilila chilolelo chammichile chile kwinani. Mwapilikene kaandanda nkati chilolelo cho, katema pamwalalichilwe Ngani Jambone ja usyene.
because of the hope that is laid up for you in heaven, of which ye heard before in the word of truth of the gospel;
6 Ngani Jambone jo jannyichilile ŵanyamwe ni kwenela mu chilambo chose ni kumpelechela umbone, ni kukula mpela ijitite kula pasikati jenu chitandile lyele lyuŵa pamwapilikene ni kuumanyilila umbone wa Akunnungu wautite kuŵa.
which is announced to you, as also to all the world; and which groweth and yieldeth fruits, as it doth also among you from the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in reality:
7 Che Epafula kapolo njetu jwakunonyelwa, jwelejo ni juŵanjigenye ŵanyamwe jele ngani jo. Jwelejo ali jwakutumichila jwakukulupilichika jwa Kilisito pamalo petu kwa ligongo lyenu.
as ye learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful minister of the Messiah;
8 Jwelejo ni jwatusalile ngani ja unonyelo wenu umpegwilwe ni Mbumu jwa Akunnungu.
and who hath made known to us your love in the Spirit.
9 Kwa ligongo li nowe ŵakwe chitandilile lyuŵa litwapilikene nkati ŵanyamwe, ngatukuleka kumpopelela. Tukwachondelela Akunnungu antende mmanyilile aila yakwisaka mpanganye mu lunda lose ni umanyilisi wose umpegwilwe ni Mbumu jwa Akunnungu.
Therefore we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray for you; and to ask that ye may be filled with a knowledge of the good pleasure of God, in all wisdom, and in all spiritual understanding;
10 Tukupopelela yeleyi kuti nkombole kutama mpela yakuti pakusaka Ambuje, njendelechele kupanganya yaikwanonyela ŵelewo moŵa gose. Kwa litala lyo chinkombole kupanganya masengo gagali gose gambone ni kupunda kwamanyilila Akunnungu.
that ye may walk as is right, and may please God with all good works, and may yield fruits, and grow in the knowledge of God;
11 Akunnungu amlimbisye kwa litala lya ukombole wose ni ukulu wao, kuti nkombole kupililila indu yose pangapela,
and may be strengthened with all strength, according to the greatness of his glory, in all patience and long suffering;
12 ni kwakusengwa mwatogolele Atati, ŵantesile ŵakuŵajilwa kupochela indu yose iŵagosele ŵandu ŵakwe mu umwenye wa lilanguka.
and may, with joy, give thanks to God the Father, who hath fitted us for a portion of the inheritance of the saints in light;
13 Pakuŵa ŵelewo atukulupwisye kutyochela mmachili ga chipi ni kutujinjisya mu umwenye wa Mwanagwe jwakunnonyela.
and hath rescued us from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son;
14 Kwa litala lya jwelejo tuwombolechekwe ni kulecheleswa sambi syetu.
by whom we have redemption and remission of sins:
15 Kilisito akulandana kwa usyene ni Akunnungu ŵangakuwoneka. Jwelejo ŵapali ikanaŵe yepanganyikwe yose kugumbikwa.
who is the likeness of the invisible God, and the first-born of all creatures:
16 Pakuŵa kwa litala lya jwelejo, Akunnungu ŵaigumbile indu yose ya kwinani ni indu yose ya pachilambo ni yaikuwoneka ni yangaikuwoneka pamo ni ŵaali ni machili pane achakulu pane ilongola pane ŵaali ni ulamusi. Akunnungu ŵaigumbile indu yose kwa litala lyakwe ni kwa liwamba lyakwe.
and by him was created every thing that is in heaven and on earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or sovereignties; every thing was through him, and was created by him:
17 Kilisito ŵapali ikanaŵe indu yose kugumbikwa ni kwakulumbikana ni ŵelewo indu yose ilumbikene pamo.
and he was prior to all, and by him every thing exists.
18 Kilisito ali ntwe wa chiilu chakwe ni chiilu cho chili mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito, nombejo ali ndande ja umi wa chiilu cho nombe ali ndande. Jwelejo ali jwaandanda kusyuka kuti aŵe jwaandanda mu indu yose.
And he is the head of the body the church; as he is the head and first-born from among the dead, that he might be the first in all things.
19 Pakuŵa yanonyelesye Akunnungu asyene kuti utindimisyo wakwe wose uŵe mu nkati mwa Kilisito.
For it pleased the Father, that in him all fullness should dwell;
20 Akunnungu ŵaijilenye indu yose kwa litala lya Kilisito, ni kwa miasi jakwe jijamwasiche pa nsalaba jatesile chitendewele ni indu yose yaili pachilambo ni kwinani.
and by him, to reconcile all things to himself; and through him, he hath pacified, with the blood of his cross, both those on earth and those in heaven.
21 Ni ŵanyamwe kalakala mwaliji ntalikangene ni Akunnungu, nombe mwaliji ŵammagongo ŵao pakuŵa mwaganisisye yachigongomalo ni mwatesile yachigongomalo.
And also to you, who were before alienated and enemies in your minds, because of your evil deeds,
22 Nambo sambano, Akunnungu ŵantesile mwanya mme achambusangagwe kwa litala lya chiwa cha chiilu cha Kilisito kuti anjausye paujo pao akuno ndi ŵaswela, ŵangali sambi namose chileŵo.
to you, he hath now given peace, by the body of his flesh, and by his death; that he might establish you in his presence, holy, without blemish, and without offence;
23 Nambo ŵanyamwe nkusachilwa kwendelechela kutama mu chikulupi, namose nkakunda kutinganyikwa ni kusaama mu chilolelo chila chimwachipatile katema pamwapilikene Ngani Jambone. Une che Paolo natendekwe kuŵa jwakutumichila jwa Ngani Jambone jila jijalalichile kwa ŵandu wose pachilambo pose.
provided ye continue in your faith, your foundation being firm, and ye be not removed from the hope of the gospel; of which ye have heard, that it is proclaimed in all the creation beneath heaven; of which gospel I Paul am a minister.
24 Sambano ngusengwa kwa masausyo gangupata kwa ligongo lyenu. Kwa litala lya kulaga kwangu kwa chiilu, ngugumbalichisya aila yaipungwiche mu kulaga kwa chiilu cha Kilisito, yaani mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito.
And I rejoice in the sufferings which are for your sakes; and, in my flesh, I fill up the deficiency in the afflictions of the Messiah, in behalf of his body, which is the church;
25 Ni une natendekwe ni Akunnungu kuŵa katumetume jwa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito. Masengo gasyene gali, kulalichila Liloŵe lyao kwa utindimisyo,
of which I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me among you, that I should fulfill the word of God,
26 ni liloŵe lyo lili chantemela chichasisiche kwa ŵandu wose chitandile kalakala, nambo sambano chimanyichikwe kwa ŵandu ŵakwe. (aiōn g165)
namely, that mystery, which was hidden for ages and generations, but is now revealed to his saints; (aiōn g165)
27 Pakuŵa Akunnungu asachile kwamanyisya ŵandu chantemela cho yachitite pakuŵa chachikulungwa ni cha ukulu chichajenele kwa ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi wose. Chantemela cho chili achi, Kilisito ali nkati mwenu, ni ŵanyamwe wakwe chinkole liunjili lya ukulu wa Akunnungu.
to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which mystery is the Messiah; who in you is the hope of our glory;
28 Kwa ligongo lyo, tukunlalichila Kilisito kwa ŵandu wose. Tukunjamuka ni kunjiganya kila mundu kwa lunda lose, kuti tukombole kunnyikanawo kila mundu paujo pa Akunnungu ali jwautindimisyo mu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito.
whom we proclaim, and teach and make known to every man, in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Jesus the Messiah.
29 Kuti ndende yeleyo ngupanganya masengo ni kuchalila kwa machili gamakulungwa ga Kilisito gagakupanganya masengo nkati mwangu.
And for this also, I toil and strive, with the aid of the strength that is imparted to me.
