1 Nsyuchile pamo ni Kilisito, kwayele muiganisye indu yaili kwinani kwali Kilisito atemi upande wauli ni ulamusi wa Akunnungu.
If then ye have risen with the Messiah, seek the things on high, where the Messiah sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Nganisyeje indu yaili kwinani ni ngaŵa yaili pa chilambo pano.
Think of things on high; not of the things on earth:
3 Pakuŵa ŵanyamwe mwaliji ŵawe ni umi wenu usisiche pamo ni Kilisito munkati mwa Akunnungu.
for ye are dead; and your life is hidden with the Messiah, in God.
4 Kilisito ali umi wenu wa usyene, nombewo pachawoneche sooni nipele ŵanyamwe chimmoneche pamo nawo mu ukulu wao.
And when the Messiah, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also be manifested with him in glory.
5 Nipele, nsiulaje kila tama syangalumbana simpagwile nasyo sya pachilambo yaani chikululu ni usakwa ni tama ni nganisyo syangalumbana ni lipamo yaili nti kupopela inyago.
Mortify therefore your members that are on the earth; whoredom, impurity, and the passions, and evil concupiscence, and avarice which is idolatry.
6 Kwa ligongo lya sambi si, lutumbilo lwa Akunnungu lukwaichilila ŵelewo ŵakukana kupilikanichisya.
For on account of these things, the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.
7 Kalakala, ŵanyamwe mwatamaga nkusikuya tama syangalumbana simpagwile nasyo.
And in these things ye also formerly walked, when ye lived in them.
8 Nambo sambano nneche yeleyi, lutumbilo ni tama ni chigongomalo ni kwatukana Akunnungu. Maloŵe gangalimate ganakopoche nkang'wa mwenu.
But now, put away from you all these, wrath, anger, malice, reviling, filthy talking:
9 Kasinnambusyana, pakuŵa ntyosisye tama syangalumbana simpagwile nasyo pamo ni isambo yakwe yose,
and lie not one to another; but put off the old man, with all his practices;
10 ni kuuwala umi wa sambano, aula umi waukwendelechela kutendekwa wa sambano ni Akunnungu ŵakugumba. Ni kwa kwamanyilila uchenene chikuntende mme mpela ŵelewo.
and put ye on the new man, that is renewed in knowledge, after the likeness of his Creator;
11 Kwa ligongo lyo, ngapagwa sooni utinda pasikati ja Ŵayahudi ni Ŵagiliki, ŵaumbele ni ŵangaumbala, jwasyomile ni jwangasyoma, kapolo ni jwalechelelwe. Nambo Kilisito ali yose nombe ali mu yose.
where there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision, neither Greek nor barbarian, neither bond nor free; but the Messiah is all, and in all.
12 Ŵanyamwe ndi ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu, jwelejo ŵannonyele ni kunsagula kuti mme ŵandu ŵakwe. Kwa yele mmanje ni ntima wa chanasa ni ntima wambone ni wa kulitulusya ni kulitimilika ni upililiu.
Therefore, holy and beloved, as the elect of God, put ye on compassions, and tenderness, and suavity, and humbleness of mind, and gentleness, and long suffering.
13 Mpilililane jwine ni jwine ni kulechelesyana katema kakalikose mundu akolaga ni maloŵe gakummechetela jwine. Nnechelesyane mpela Ambuje yatite pakunnechelesya ŵanyamwe.
And be ye indulgent towards one another, and forgiving to one another: and if any one has a complaint against his neighbor, as the Messiah forgave you, so also do ye forgive.
14 Pakupunda indu yose, njonjechesye unonyelo pakuŵa unonyelo ukutaŵikanya indu yose mu umo uuli utindimisyo.
And with all these, join love, which is the girdle of perfection.
15 Chitendewele cha Kilisito chitawale mmitima jenu, pakuŵa Akunnungu ammilasile ŵanyamwe kuti chipagwe chele chitendewele mu chiilu chimo, ni mme ŵakutogolela.
And let the peace of the Messiah direct your hearts; for to that ye have been called, in one body; and be ye thankful to the Messiah.
16 Utenga wa Kilisito ugumbale nkati mwenu. Njiganyane ni kujamukana kwa lunda lose. Njiimbe sabuli ni nyimbo syakwalapa Akunnungu ni nyimbo sya kwapopela akuno nchajimbilaga Akunnungu kwa kutogolela mmitima jenu.
And let his word dwell in you richly, in all wisdom. And teach and admonish yourselves, by psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, and with grace in your hearts sing ye unto God.
17 Chichintende chose pane kuŵecheta, mpanganye yose kwa liina lya Ambuje Che Yesu ni kwatogolela Akunnungu Atati kwa litala lyao Che Yesu.
And whatever ye do in word or act, do it in the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, and give thanksgiving through him to God the Father.
18 Ŵanyamwe achakongwe, mwapilikanichisye achiŵankwenu, yeleyi ni yakuti pakwanonyelesya Ambuje.
Wives, be ye subject to your husbands, as is right in the Messiah.
19 Ni ŵanyamwe achalume, mwanonyele achiŵankwenu, ni kasimma ŵakalipa kukwao.
Husbands, love ye your wives, and be not bitter towards them.
20 Ni ŵanyamwe ŵanache mwapilikanichisye achaŵelesi ŵenu mu yose, pakuŵa chelechi chikwanonyelesya Ambuje.
Children, obey your parents in every thing; for this is pleasing before our Lord.
21 Ni ŵanyamwe achaŵelesi kasimwalipula ŵanache ŵenu, kuti akapwa ntima.
Parents, anger not your children, lest they be discouraged.
22 Ni ŵanyamwe achikapolo mwapilikanichisye aŵala ŵaali achakulu ŵenu kwa chiilu mu indu yose, nkapilikanichisya pe katema pakummona kuti mmoneche ŵambone kukwao nambo ntendeje yeleyo ni ntima wenu wose ligongo lya kwachimbichisya Ambuje Che Yesu.
Servants, obey in all things your bodily masters; not in the sight of the eye only, as those who please men, but with a simple heart, and in the fear of the Lord.
23 Chinkutenda chachilichose, ntende ni ntima wenu wose, mpela nkwatendela Ambuje ni ngaŵa nkwatendela ŵandu.
And whatever ye do, do it with your whole soul, as unto our Lord, and not as to men:
24 Nkumbuchile kuti Ambuje chachimpa ŵanyamwe mbote jakwagosela ŵandu ŵao. Pakuŵa Kilisito ali Ambuje ŵa usyene unkwatumichila.
and know ye, that from our Lord ye will receive a recompense as the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord the Messiah.
25 Pakuŵa jwalijose jwakupanganya yangalumbana, chapochele malipilo ga yangalumbana yapangenye, ligongo Akunnungu nganakola lusagu kose.
But the delinquent will receive a recompense, according to the delinquency; and there is no respect of persons.
