1 Ngusaka mmanyilile inguti pakupanganya masengo kwa kuchalila kwa ligongo lyenu ni kwa ligongo lya ŵandu ŵa ku Laodikia ni kwa ligongo lya wose ŵanganamone une.
I want you to know how great is my concern for you and those in Laodicea, even all who have not met me personally,
2 Ngupanganya yelei kuti atulaswe mitima ni kulumbikana pamo mu unonyelo ni pakupunda yeleyo akombole kugumbalichiswa upile kwa winji ni kumanyilila kwa kusyene. Pele chakombole kuchimanyilila chantemela cha Akunnungu, malumbo gakwe kwamanyilila Kilisito asyene.
that their hearts may be encouraged, being united in love and into a great wealth of confident understanding, into a real knowledge of the mystery of the God and Father and of the Christ,
3 Ŵelewo pe ni ŵakukombola kwatenda ŵandu alumanyilile lunda lose ni umanyilisi wose wa Akunnungu.
in whom all the treasures of the wisdom and the knowledge are hidden.
4 Ngunsalila ŵanyamwe maloŵe ga kuti mundu akanlambusya kwa maloŵe gakunnyenga namuno gakuwoneka gambone.
Now I say this so that no one may deceive you with specious arguments.
5 Pakuŵa atamuno ndalichile kwa chiilu, nambo ndili pamo ni ŵanyamwe mu mbumu, none ngusengwa kwiwona ipanganyo yenu ikwendelechela kwa ukotopasyo ni inkuti pakwima chimile nkwakulupilila Kilisito.
For although in fact I am physically absent, yet my spirit is with you, rejoicing as I observe your orderliness and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
6 Nipele pakuŵa mwapochele Kilisito Yesu kuŵa Ambuje ŵenu, iyoyo njendeje nkulumbikana ni ŵelewo.
So then, keep on walking in the Christ, Jesus the Sovereign, just as you received Him,
7 Njendelechele kukamulangana nawo mpela ila nkuŵika michiga nkati mwakwe ni umi wenu utaŵikwe pachanya pakwe ni kwima nkulimbangana mu chikulupi mpela imwatite kujiganyikwa. Pakupunda yeleyo mmeje ŵakutogolela nnope.
having been rooted and being built up in Him and being established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 Nlilolechesye akaika mundu kukunnambusya kwa maloŵe ga majiganyo gaunami, ndande jakwe jili mapochelo ga ŵandu ni ga masoka gagakulamula pachilambo nambo ngagakutyochela kwa Kilisito asyene.
Be careful that no one captures you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.
9 Pakuŵa chinungu chose cha Akunnungu chili mu nkati mwa chiilu cha Kilisito.
Because all the Fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him in bodily form,
10 Ni nkulumbikana nawo, ŵanyamwe nkwete umi wautindimisyo. Ŵelewo akwete ulamusi pa masoka gagakutawala ni achakulu wose.
and you are complete in Him who is the head over all rule and authority.
11 Nkulumbikana ni Kilisito ŵanyamwe mwaumbele ni kusileka tama syangalumbana simpagwile nasyo nambo kuumbala kwangatendekwa kwa makono ga ŵandu nambo mmumbeswe ni Kilisito nsyene.
In Him you were also ‘circumcised’ by the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, not with a circumcision done by hands but with the circumcision of the Christ,
12 Pakuŵa pamwabatisilwe mwasichikwe pamo ni Kilisito, ni mu ubatiso wo iyoyo ŵanyamwe mwasyuchile pamo nawo ligongo mwakulupilile machili ga Akunnungu, juŵansyusisye Che Yesu.
having been buried with Him in the baptism. In Him you were also raised together through your faith in the productive power of the God who raised Him from among the dead.
13 Kalakala mwaliji ŵawe ligongo lya sambi syenu ni tama sya chiilu syangalumbana simpagwile nasyo syasikusaka kupanganya sambi syaliji syangatyochekwa. Nambo sambano Akunnungu ampele umi pamo ni Kilisito. Nombe Akunnungu atulechelesye sambi syetu syose,
Yes you, though being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh—He has made you alive together with Him; having forgiven us all our trespasses;
14 paŵachipukwite chikalata chachilembekwe magambo getu pamo ni malajisyo gakwe chati Akunnungu akatulamulile uwe, ŵachipukwite kusyene kwa kuchiŵamba pa nsalaba.
having wiped out the written record about us that was against us (based on the ordinances), indeed He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross;
15 Pa nsalaba po Kilisito ŵagasumwile machili masoka gagakutawala ni achakulu ŵakutawala. Ŵatasile soni paujo pa ŵandu kwa kwakwekwelemya nti ŵandu ŵataŵikwe mu ulendo kwalosya kuti ŵapundile.
having stripped the principalities and the authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, having triumphed over them by it [the cross].
16 Nkakunda mundu jwalijose kummichila lilajisyo nkati chakulya ni yakung'wa atamuno yankati lyuŵa lya chindimba pane Lyuŵa lyakuwoneka lwesi pane Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila.
So do not let anyone judge you about food or drink, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or Sabbaths,
17 Ayiyi yose ili chiwilili cha indu yaikwika yo, nambo usyene wa yele yose uli Kilisito nsyene.
which things are but a shadow of those to come, while the body is Christ's.
18 Nkajitichisya kulamulikwa ni mundu jwalijose jwakulilola kwa paasa kuti ali jwakulitulusya ni jwakwapopelela achikatumetume ŵa kwinani. Mundu jwanti yele akulifuna kwa indu yaiweni ni kwa ligongo lya lunda lwakwe.
Nor let anyone disqualify you, taking pleasure in a subservience and devotion to the angels, ‘taking possession’ of things that he has not seen, being puffed up by his carnal mind to no useful purpose,
19 Mundu jo alesile kukamulangana ni Kilisito ŵaali ntwe wa chiilu. Kwa litala lya ŵelewo chiilu chose chikutagwa machili ni kulumbikanywa pamo kwa iŵalo ni mitasi jakwe, nombecho chikukula kwa unonyelo wa Akunnungu.
and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, supported and held together by its joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
20 Ŵanyamwe mwawile pamo ni Kilisito ni kuwombolwa kutyochela mu machili ga masoka gagakulamula pa chilambo. Ana ligongo chi nkutama mpela ŵandu ŵa pa chilambo? Kwa chichi nkugajitichisya malajisyo gati yeleyo,
Now then, since you died with Christ away from the basic principles of the world, why, as though still living in it, are you subjecting yourselves to regulations
21 “Nkakamula chelechi, nkapasya chelechi, nkakwaya achila”?
—Don't handle! Don't taste! Don't touch!—
22 Yeleyo yose chiŵe yangalimate yamalaga kutumika. Yeleyo yose ili malajisyo ni majiganyo ga ŵandu pe.
(all of which result in corruption through overuse) according to the commands and teachings of men?
23 Isyene malajisyo ga gakuwoneka kuŵa ga lunda, nkupopela kwaliŵichile achinsyene ni nkulitulusya kwao ni nkuchilongosya chiilu kwakuchisausya. Nambo yele yose nganikola machili ga kusilekasya tama sya chiilu.
Such things do indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and subservience and asceticism, but are not of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
