1 Pawamasile utinda ku Efeso, che Paolo ŵaaŵilasile ŵakwakuya ŵala pamo, ni kwalimbisya ntima. Ni ŵaalanjile ni kutanda ulendo wa ku Makedonia.
But, after the tumult had ceased, Paul, sending for the disciples and exhorting them, took leave, and went forth to be journeying unto Macedonia.
2 Ni ŵapite mu ilambo ila ni kwalimbisya ntima kwa maloŵe gamajinji ŵakukulupilila ŵa misi jo. Nipele ŵaiche ku Ugiliki,
Passing through those parts, however, and exhorting them with much discourse, he came into Greece;
3 kweleko ŵatemi miesi jitatu. Paŵaliji nkuliŵika chile kwa ulendo wa ku Silia kwa litala lya mmeesi, ŵaimanyi kuti Ŵayahudi ŵatamilile ntemela wangalimate, nipele ŵaamwiwe kuuja achipitilaga ku Makedonia.
and, spending three months, when a plot was laid against him by the Jews, as he was about to sail to Syria, he determined to turn back through Macedonia.
4 Che Sopatula mwana ju che Piho mundu jwa ku Belea ŵalongene ni che Paolo pamo ni che Alisitako ni che Sekundo jwa ku Sesalonike, che Gayo jwa ku Debe ni che Timoseo, che Tukiko ni che Tilofimo jwa ku Asia.
Now there were accompanying him, Sopater, son of Pyrrhus a Beroean; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe and Timothy; and, of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
5 Ŵandu wo ŵatulongolele ni ŵaliji nkutulolela ku Tuloa kula.
And, these, came and were waiting for us at Troas.
6 Pagapite moŵa ga mikate jangatajikwa amila, uweji twakwesile ngalaŵa kutyochela ku Filipi ni pagamasile moŵa nsano, twaiche ku Tuloa kula. Ni kweleko twatemi chijuma chimo.
And, we, sailed forth, after the days of unleavened bread, from Philippi, and came unto them in Troas in five days, where we tarried seven days.
7 Lyuŵa lyaandanda lya chijuma twachingangene kuti tulye pamo. Ni che Paolo pakuŵa ŵasachile kuti atyoche malaŵi jakwe, ŵakungulwiche ni ŵandu, ni sooni ŵajendelechele kukunguluka ni ŵandu wo mpaka chilo nnope.
And, on the first of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul went on to discourse with them, being about to depart on the morrow; and he prolonged his discourse until midnight.
8 Mu chuumba cha mwinani kutwasongangene ko kwaliji ni ibatali yejinji ichikolelaga.
Now there were a good many torches in the upper room, where we were gathered together.
9 Ni jwapali nchanda liina lyakwe che Eutiko juŵatemi pedilisha. Che Paolo paŵajendelechelaga kukunguluka, che Eutiko ŵatandite kugwesela kanandikanandi. Kumbesi ŵagonile ni ŵagwile paasi kutyochela chuumba chaatatu cha mwinani. Ni paŵannyakwile ŵaliji ŵamale kuwa.
And there sat, a certain young man by name Eutychus, in the window, who was getting overpowered by a deep sleep; and, while Paul was discoursing yet further, being overpowered by his sleep, he fell, from the third story, down, and was taken up dead.
10 Nambo che Paolo ŵatulwiche paasi ni ŵatindiŵele ni kwakumbata ni kuti, “Kasinlilanga pakuŵa ali jwanjumi.”
Going down, however, Paul fell upon him, and, embracing him, said—Be not making confusion; for, his soul, is, in him.
11 Ni ŵakwesile sooni ku chuumba cha mwinani kula ŵagaŵenye nkate ni ŵalile. Ŵajendelechele kulalichila mpaka kundaŵi pe nipele ŵatyosile.
And, going up, and breaking the loaf, and tasting, —for a good while also conversing, until dawn, thus, he departed.
12 Ŵandu ŵala ŵanjigele nchanda jula kumangwao ali jwanjumi, nipele mitima jao jatulele.
And they brought the boy alive, and were comforted beyond measure.
13 Uweji twalongolele ku Aso ni ngalaŵa jekulungwa, kweleko twatiji twajigale che Paolo. Yeleyo ni yatite pakulajisya nnigwa wao kuti aiche kweleko wapasi.
And, we, going forward unto the ship, set sail for Assos, from thence being about to take up Paul; for, so, had he arranged, being about, himself, to go on foot.
14 Nipele che Paolo ŵatusimene ku Aso kula, ni twakwesile mu ngalaŵa ni twajawile ku Mitulene.
And, when he fell in with us in Assos, we took him on board, and came into Mitylene;
15 Kutyochela kweleko twajendelechele ni ulendo ni malaŵi jakwe twaiche ku Kio. Pa lyuŵa lyaaŵili twapelengenye ku Samo ni malaŵi jakwe twaiche ku Mileto.
and, from thence sailing away on the morrow, we came over against Chios, and, on the next day, we thrust aside into Samos, and, on the succeeding day, we came into Miletus.
16 Pakuŵa che Paolo ŵasachile kwendelechela ni ulendo wao ni ngalaŵa pangasepuchila ku Efeso kuti akasakaŵa nnope ku Asia ko. Ŵachelengaga nningwa wao kuti yakombolekaga aiche ku Yelusalemu kwaligongo lya lyuŵa lya Pentekosite.
For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, lest he should happen to lose time in Asia; for he hastened, if it were possible for him, against the day of Pentecost, to arrive, in Jerusalem.
17 Che Paolo paŵaliji ku Mileto ŵalajisye utenga wa kwaŵilanga achachekulu ŵa mipingo ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito ja ku Efeso kuti achingangane.
But, from Miletus, he sent unto Ephesus, and called for the elders of the assembly.
18 Achachekulu ŵala paŵaiche, che Paolo ŵaasalile, “Mwachinsyene nkumanyililanga indite pakutama ni ŵanyamwe moŵa gose chitandile lyuŵa lyaandanda lila panaiche pachilambo cha ku Asia.
And, when they were come to him, he said unto them—Ye yourselves, well know, from the first day when I set foot in Asia, in what manner came to be with you all the time,
19 Nkumanyililanga indite pakwatumichila Ambuje nkulitulusya kose ni misosi ni masausyo gagambatile kwaligongo lya malindi ga Ŵayahudi ŵampepe.
doing service unto the Lord, with all humility and tears, and temptations which befell me through the plots of the Jews:
20 Nkumanyililanga kuti uneji nganinyogopa namose kanandi kunlalichila pelanga ni mmajumba genu ni kunjiganya chakunkamuchisya chachili chose.
in what manner I in nowise shrank from announcing unto you anything that was profitable and teaching you publicly and in your homes;
21 Naajamwiche kwakalipa nnope Ŵayahudi ni Ŵagiliki aleche sambi syao ni kwaujilila Akunnungu ni kunkulupilila Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu.
bearing full witness, both to Jews and to Greeks, as to the repentance due unto God, and as to belief on our Lord Jesus.
22 Sano, uneji ngumpilikanichisya Mbumu jwa Akunnungu, ngwaula ku Yelusalemu pangaimanyilila chachili chose chachichiisimane kweleko.
And, now, lo! I, bound in my spirit, am journeying unto Jerusalem; the things which therein shall befall me, not knowing, —
23 Nguchimanyilila chindu chimo kuti mmusi wauliwose Mbumu jwa Akunnungu akusalila kuti kutaŵikwa ni masausyo gakunindilila.
save that, the Holy Spirit, from city to city, doth bear me full witness, saying that, bonds and tribulations, await me.
24 Nambo nganguuŵalanjila umi wangu kuti wana chindu nnope kwa uneji nningwa wangu malichisye unduna wangu ni masengo gaŵambele Ambuje Che Yesu nagapanganye, yaani naalalichile ŵandu Ngani Jambone ja upile wa Akunnungu.
But, for no cause whatever, am I making my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to bear full witness as to the good news of the favour of God.
25 “Mbiite mwa ŵanyamwe wose njilalichilaga Umwenye wa Akunnungu. Nambo sambano ngumanyilila kuti ngapagwa jwalijose mwa ŵanyamwe juchachimona une sooni.
And, now, lo! I, know that, no more, shall ye see my face, —ye all, among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom.
26 Nipele lelo jino ngunsalila kuti yakopochelaga jumo jwenu kujonasika, uneji nganingola magambo.
Wherefore I take you to witness, on this very day, that, pure am I from the blood of all;
27 Pakuŵa nganileka kunlalichila yanayose yakusaka kuipanganya Akunnungu.
for I have not shrunk from announcing all the counsel of God unto you.
28 Nlilolechesye mwachinsyene, mwagose ŵandu wose ŵampele Mbumu jwa Akunnungu kuti mwalele ŵanyawo. Nkaachunje ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵaŵapatile kwa miasi ja Mwanagwe.
Be taking heed unto yourselves, and unto all the little flock in which the Holy Spirit hath set, you, as overseers, —to be shepherding the assembly of God which he hath acquired through means of the blood of his own.
29 Nguimanyilila uchenene kuti pingutyoka masogo gakalipa chiganjimuchile ni ngagakola chanasa kwa mpingo wo.
I, know, that there will enter, after my departure, grievous wolves into your midst, not sparing the little flock;
30 Ni sooni mwa mwachinsyene chakopochele ŵandu ŵachaŵechete ya unami kwasoyasya ŵakulijiganya ni kwatenda ŵaakuye ŵanyawo.
and, from among your own selves, will arise men speaking distorted things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
31 Nipele, nlilolechesye nchikumbuchilaga kuti kwa moŵa ga yaka itatu chilo ni muusi, nganileka kunjamuka kila jumo mwa ŵanyamwe kwa misosi.
Wherefore, be on the watch, remembering that, for three years, night and day, I gave myself no rest, with tears, admonishing each one.
32 “Nipele sambano, ŵanyamwe ngummikanga mmakono ga Akunnungu ni pa utenga wa upile wao, waukukombola kunkolosya ni kumpa ntuuka pamo ni ŵandu ŵao ŵaŵaswejeswe.
Now, therefore, I commend you unto the Lord, and unto his word of favour, —which is able to build up and give the inheritance among all the hallowed ones.
33 Uneji nganisaka madini ga feza pane sahabu pane iwalo ya mundu jwalijose.
The silver or gold or apparel of no one, did I covet:
34 Mwachinsyene nkumanyililanga kuti napanganisye masengo ni makono gangu nansyene kuti mbate yaikunsoŵa ni yaikwasoŵa achinjangu nombewo.
yourselves, acknowledge that, for my necessities and for those who were with me, hard wrought these hands!
35 Moŵa gose mbanganyisye masengo nti itagu kukwenu, kunnosya kuti tukusachilwa kwakamuchisya ŵakulaga, tuchikumbuchilaga maloŵe ga Ambuje Che Yesu nsyene gagakuti, ‘Mbaya kutyosya kupunda kupochela.’”
In all things, I gave you to understand, that, thus toiling, it behoves to be helping the weak, also to be keeping in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, that, he himself, said—Happy is it, rather to give than to receive!
36 Che Paolo paŵamasile kuŵecheta yeleyo ŵatindiŵele pamo ni ŵanyawo wose ni kwapopela Akunnungu.
And, these things saying, kneeling down with them all, he prayed.
37 Wose ŵaliji nkulilanga ni ŵaalanjile che Paolo kwakwakumbata ni kwalosya unonyelo wekulungwa.
And they all wept much, and, falling upon Paul’s neck, they were tenderly kissing him;
38 Chindu chichatesile asupuche nnope chaliji liloŵe liŵaŵechete che Paolo paŵatite, “Ngamuuwona sooni.” Nipele ŵaapechesye mpaka mu ngalaŵa jekulungwa.
being most distressed for the word which he had said, —That, no more, should they, his face, behold. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
