1 Nipele che Paolo ni che Sila ŵapelengenye ku Amfipoli ni ku Apolonia, ni ŵaiche ku Sesalonike kujaliji nyuumba ja kupopelela ja Ŵayahudi.
Having passed through then Amphipolis and (*no*) Apollonia they came to Thessalonica, where was (the *k*) a synagogue of the Jews.
2 Ni che Paolo malinga ni masyoŵelo gakwe ŵalumbikene nawo ni kuusyausyana nawo nkati Malembelo ga Akunnungu kwa moŵa gatatu ga Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila.
According to now the being customary with Paul he went in to them, and for Sabbaths three (he reasoned *N(k)O*) with them from the Scriptures,
3 Ŵaagopolele ni kwasalila pangasisika kuti yaŵajilwe Kilisito asauche ni kusyuka. Ŵaasalile, “Aŵa Che Yesu ŵangwajenesya kukwenu, ŵelewo ali Kilisito.”
opening and setting forth that the Christ it was being necessary to have suffered and to have risen out from [the] dead and that this is the Christ (*no*) Jesus whom I myself preach to you.
And some of them were obedient and they joined themselves to Paul and to Silas, along with worshipping Greeks a multitude great of women then leading not a few.
5 Nambo Ŵayahudi ŵagumbele wiu ni ŵaajigele ŵandu ŵangalumbana ŵa pakusumichisya malonda ni ŵalumbikene pamo ni kutanda kutindiganya pamusi pose. Ŵajijimuchile nyuumba ji che Yasoni achiganisyaga kuti chiŵasimane che Paolo ni che Sila mwelemo kuti ŵakoposye kwa ŵandu.
Having become jealous now (the *o*) ([being] disobedient *K*) Jews and having taken to [them] of the market-loungers men certain wicked and having collected a crowd they were setting in uproar the city, (and *N(k)O*) having assailed the house of Jason they were seeking them (to bring out *N(k)O*) to the people;
6 Nambo nganiŵasimana, nipele ŵaajigele che Yasoni pamo ni ŵandu ŵane ŵakunkulupilila Che Yesu ni kwakwekwelemya mpaka kwa achakulu ŵa musi achinyanyisyaga kuti, “Ŵandu ŵa akutindiganya chilambo chose ni sano alinji pamusi pano.
Not having found however them they were dragging (*k*) Jason and certain brothers before the city authorities crying out that The [ones] the world having upset these also here are come,
7 Che Yasoni ŵaapochele mu nyuumba jao. Wose akukananga kugakuya malajisyo ga Mwenye jwa ku Loma achitiji, eti, ‘Apali mwenye jwine jwakuŵilanjikwa Che Yesu.’”
whom has received Jason; And these all contrary to the decrees of Caesar do king another proclaiming to be Jesus.
8 Achakulu ŵa musi pamo ni mpingo wa ŵandu ula paŵagapilikene maloŵe go yatindigenye mu ntwe.
They stirred up then the crowd and the city authorities hearing these things;
9 Nipele ŵaatesile che Yasoni ni achinjakwe atyosye chikole ni ŵalesile ajaulangane.
And having taken security from Jason and the rest they let go them.
10 Chilo, ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Che Yesu ŵa ku Sesalonike ŵala ŵachisisye che Paolo ni njakwe che Sila ajaulangane ku Belea. Ni ŵanyawo paŵaiche kweleko ŵajinjile mu nyuumba ja kupopelela ja Ŵayahudi.
And the brothers immediately through (*k*) night sent away both Paul and Silas to Berea, who having arrived into the synagogue of the Jews were going.
11 Nambo, ŵandu ŵa ku Belea ŵaliji ŵakupilikanichisya nnope kupunda ŵa ku Sesalonike. Ŵalipochele Liloŵe lya Akunnungu kwa lung'wanu lwekulungwa ni moŵa gose ŵaliji nkugalolechesya lolechesya Malembelo ga Akunnungu kanga yaŵaiŵechetaga che Paolo yo yaliji isyenesyene.
These now were more noble than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all readiness (*ko*) every day examining the Scriptures if would be these things so.
12 Ŵayahudi ŵajinji ŵakulupilile pamo ni achakongwe ni achalume ŵa Chigiliki ŵakuchimbichikwa.
Many indeed therefore of them believed, and of the Grecian women prominent and men not a few.
13 Nambo Ŵayahudi ŵa ku Sesalonike paŵaimanyi kuti che Paolo ŵaliji nkulalichila Liloŵe lya Akunnungu ku Belea ko, ŵajawile kweleko nombe ni kutanda kutindiganya ni kujichisya mipingo ja ŵandu.
When however knew those from Thessalonica Jews that also in Berea was proclaimed by Paul the word of God, they came there also there also stirring up (and agitating *NO*) the crowds.
14 Papopo ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Che Yesu ŵapechesye che Paolo ku mbwani nambo che Sila ni che Timoseo ŵasigele ku Belea.
Immediately also then Paul sent away the brothers to go (until *N(k)O*) to the sea; (remained but *N(k)O*) both Silas and Timothy there.
15 Ŵandu ŵaŵampechesye che Paolo ŵala ŵampechesye mpaka ku Asene. Nombewo ŵausile ku Belea ali ni malajisyo kutyochela ku che Paolo gagakuti che Sila ni che Timoseo ŵakuye chitema pe.
Those now (escorting *N(k)O*) Paul brought (him *k*) unto Athens, and having received a command unto Silas and (*no*) Timothy that as quickly as possible they may come to him they were departing.
16 Che Paolo paŵaliji ku Asene nkwalindilila ŵanya che Sila ni che Timoseo, yachimile nnope muntima mwao pakuŵa ŵauweni musi wo ugumbele inyago ya achiminungu.
In now Athens is waiting for them Paul was provoked the spirit of him in him (seeing *N(k)O*) utterly idolatrous to be the city.
17 Nipele ŵausyeneusyene ni Ŵayahudi ni ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi ŵaŵaliji nkwalamba Akunnungu mu nyuumba ja kupopelela, lyuŵa ni lyuŵa ŵausyeneusyene ni ŵandu ŵaŵasimanaga nawo pakusumichisya malonda.
He was reasoning indeed therefore in the synagogue with the Jews and with those worshiping and in the marketplace on every day with those meeting [him];
18 Ŵandu ŵaŵalijigenye lunda lwa Chiepikulo ni Chisitoiki ŵatesile makani ni che Paolo. Ŵane ŵatite, “Ana ujinga chi wakuusala mundu ju?” Ŵane ŵatite, “Akuwoneka mpela akulalichila ngani ja achiminungu achalendo.” Ŵatite yeleyo pakuŵa che Paolo ŵaliji nkulalichila ngani ji Che Yesu ni yatite kusyuka,
Some then also of the Epicureans and (of the *k*) Stoics philosophers were encountering him; And some were saying; What maybe would intend babbler this to say? Others however; Of foreign gods he seems a proclaimer to be; because Jesus and the resurrection (to them *k*) he was evangelising.
19 Nipele ŵanjigele che Paolo ku Aleopago achitiji, “Tukusaka tukombole kugamanyilila gele majiganyo gasambano ginkusala ga.
Having taken hold (also *NK(o)*) of him to the Ares Hill they brought [him] saying; Are we able to know what [is] new this which by you is spoken teaching?
20 Indu ine itwipilikene mmawiwi getu ikuwoneka kuŵa ya chilendo kukwetu. Nipele tukusaka kugamanyilila malumbo ga yele indu yo.”
Strange things for some you are bringing to the ears of us; We resolve therefore to know (what [things] *N(k)O*) (maybe *k*) (intends *N(k)O*) these things to be.
21 Ŵandu ŵa ku Asene ni achalendo wose ŵakulonjela kweleko ŵajigele katema kakajinji kutagula ni kupilikanila ngani ja sambano.
[The] Athenians now all and the visiting strangers in no [thing] else were spending their time than to tell something (and *N(k)O*) to hear something new.
22 Nipele che Paolo ŵajimi paujo pa nkungulu wa Aleopago ni kuti, “Ŵanyamwe ŵandu ŵa ku Asene, nguwona kuti ŵanyamwe nli ŵandu ŵa dini nnope,
Having stood then Paul in [the] midst of the Ares Hill he was saying; Men Athenians, in all things as very religious you I behold;
23 pakuŵa panaliji nkwendajenda akuno ni akunokuno napaweni peuto pankutyochesya mbopesi, ni sooni nachisimene chilisa chimo chilembekwe, ‘Kwa Akunnungu ŵangamanyika.’ Nipele ngunlalichila ŵanyamwe chele chindu chinkuchipopelela pangachimanyilila.
Passing through for and beholding the objects of worship of you I found even an altar on which had been inscribed: To an unknown God. (whom *N(k)O*) therefore not knowing you worship, (Him *N(K)O*) I myself proclaim to you.
24 Akunnungu ŵaŵachigumbile chilambo ni yose yaili mwelemo, ŵelewo ni Ambuje ŵa kwinani ni chilambo chino, ŵelewo ngakutama mmajumba ga Akunnungu getaŵe ni ŵandu.
The God who having made the world and all things that [are] in it, He of heaven and earth being Lord not in hand-made temples dwells,
25 Sooni ngakutumichilwa ni makono ga ŵandu ni ngakuchisaka chachili chose, pakuŵa asyene akwapa ŵandu wose umi ni kwakombolechesya kupumula ni kwapa indu yose.
nor by hands (human *N(k)O*) is He served as needing anything, Himself giving to all life and breath (and *N(K)O*) (the *N(k)O*) all;
26 Kutyochela mwa mundu jumo ŵapanganyisye ŵandu wose ŵa pachilambo pano ni kwakombolechesya kutama palipose pachilambo pano. Ŵalamwile kutyochela kundanda katema chi ni papi pachatame ŵandu wo.
He made then of one (blood *K*) every nation of men to dwell upon (all [the] face *N(k)O*) of the earth, determining (ordered *N(k)O*) times and the boundaries of the habitation of them
27 Ŵatesile yeleyo kuti ŵandu ŵa ilambo yo ŵasoseje Akunnungu namuno kwakwapapasya ŵasimane. Natamuno yeleyo Akunnungu ngakutalikangana ni jwalijose.
to seek (God, *N(K)O*) if perhaps indeed they would touch Him and would find [Him], And (indeed *N(k)O*) not far from one each of us He is.
28 Mpela ila mundu jumo iŵatite pakusala, ‘Mwa ŵelewo uweji tukwete umi, tukwenda ni kutama!’ Mpela ila ŵakwimba ŵenu ŵane, ŵatite, ‘Uweji wose tuli ŵanache ŵao.’
In Him for we live and move and are,’ As also some of the among you poets have said; of [Him] For also offspring we are.’
29 Nipele pakuŵa tuli ŵanache ŵao Akunnungu, ngaikuŵajilwa kuganisya kuti Akunnungu akulandana ni sahabu ni madini ga mbiya atamuno liganga lyesepe uchenene kwa lunda lwa ŵandu.
Offspring therefore being of God not we ought to consider to gold or to silver or to stone, a graven thing of craft and imagination of man, the Divine Being to be like.
30 Ndema sya ungamanyilila wao, Akunnungu ŵalitesile nti ngakulola. Nambo sambano akulajisya kuti ŵandu wose ŵa palipose aleche sambi.
The indeed therefore times of ignorance having overlooked God now (He commands *NK(O)*) to men (all *N(k)O*) everywhere to repent;
31 Pakuŵa aŵisile lyuŵa lichiŵalamule ŵandu ŵa pachilambo kwa goloka, kwa litala lya mundu jumo jwansagwile. Nombe Akunnungu ŵaalosisye pangasisa ŵandu wose ngani ji, pakunsyusya mundu jo!”
(just as *N(k)O*) He set a day in which He is about to judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He appointed a guarantee having provided to all, having raised Him out from [the] dead.
32 Nipele paŵampilikene che Paolo achiŵechetaga yankati kusyuka kwa ŵawe, ŵane mwa ŵanyawo ŵatesile chanache, nambo ŵane ŵatite, “Tukusaka tumpikanile sooni nkati yeleyo.”
Having heard of now a resurrection of [the] dead some indeed were mocking [him], some however said; We will hear you concerning this (also *no*) again.
33 Che Paolo ŵatyosile pankungulu ni kwalekanga.
(and *k*) Thus Paul went out from [the] midst of them.
34 Nambo ŵandu ŵampepe ŵalongene nawo ni kwakulupilila Che Yesu. Mwa ŵandu wo ŵapali che Dionisio jumo jwa mpingo waukuŵilanjikwa Aleopago ni jwankongwe liina lyakwe che Damali ni ŵandu ŵane.
Some however men having joined themselves to him believed, among whom also [were] Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.
