1 Mmanyilile kuti moŵa ga mbesi chikuŵe ni ndaŵi sya malagasyo gamakulungwa.
But of this be assured: in the last days grievous times will set in.
2 Pakuŵa ŵandu chachiŵa ŵakulinonyelesya achinsyene ni ŵakusinonyela mbiya ni ŵakulilapa ni ŵachibuli ni ŵakwatukana Akunnungu ni ŵangakwapilikanichisya achaŵelesi ni ŵangali ni kutogolela ni ŵandu ŵachigongomalo.
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, profane. They will be disobedient to parents, thankless, irreligious,
3 Chapagwe ŵandu ŵangali ni unonyelo muntima ni ŵangakusaka kwilana ni ŵakulambusya ni ŵakutolwa ni ŵachikali ni ŵangakuinonyela indu yambone.
destitute of natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers. They will have no self-control, but will be brutal, opposed to goodness,
4 Chachiŵa ŵakugalaukana jwine ni jwine ni ŵandu ŵangakukosya ni ŵa chibuli ni ŵakusaka kulinonyelesya kwa indu kupunda kwanonyela Akunnungu.
treacherous, headstrong, self-important. They will love pleasure instead of loving God,
5 Kwa paasa chaoneche mpela ŵandu ŵakwapopelela Akunnungu nambo akugakana machili gakwe. Nliŵambasye ni ŵandu wo.
and will keep up a make-believe of piety and yet live in defiance of its power. Turn away from people of this sort.
6 Mwa ŵelewo akwaula mmajumba ga ŵandu ni kwalambusya achakongwe ŵakuloŵela ni kwatenda ŵapikanile ŵanyawo pe. Achakongwe wo aguumbele sambi ni kulongoswa ni tama ja kupisyangana.
Among them are included the men who make their way into private houses and carry off weak women as their prisoners--women who, weighed down by the burden of their sins, are led by ever-changing caprice,
7 Achakongwe wo akusaka kulijiganya moŵa gose nambo ngakukombola kwika mwa kuumanyilila usyene.
and are always learning something new, and yet are never able to arrive at real knowledge of the truth.
8 Ŵakwiganya wo akuukanila usyene mpela ila che Yane ni che Yambule iŵatite kwakanila che Musa. Nganisyo sya ŵele ŵandu syejonasiche ni chikulupi chao chili chaunami.
And just as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also these false teachers withstand the truth--being, as they are, men of debased intellects, and of no real worth so far as faith is concerned.
9 Nambo ŵelewo ngasajendechela kose pakuŵa kuloŵela kwao chikuwoneche pakulanguka kwa ŵandu wose. Yele ni iyatite kwa che Yane ni che Yambule.

11 masausyo gangu ni kulaga kwangu. Nkumanyilila indu yose iyangopochele une ku Antiokia ni ku ikonio ni ku Lisita. Nagapililile masausyo gamakulungwa nnope! Nambo Ambuje ŵangulupwisye mu yose.
and the persecutions and sufferings which I have endured; the things which happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra. You know the persecutions I endured, and how the Lord delivered me out of them all.
12 Elo, ni wose ŵakusaka kutama ni kwapopelela Akunnungu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito Yesu alindilile kulagaswa.
And indeed every one who is determined to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
13 Nambo ŵandu ŵangalumbana ni ŵakulambusya chapunde kuŵa ŵangalumbana, chiŵalambusye ŵandu ŵane ni welewo chachilambuswa ni ŵandu ŵane.
But bad men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.
14 Nambo mmwejo nlimbile kutama mu usyene umwajiganyikwe ni kuukunda. Pakuŵa nkwamanyilila ŵaani ŵanjigenye ni ŵankwakulupilila.
But you must cling to the things which you have learnt and have been taught to believe, knowing who your teachers were,
15 Nkumbuchile kuti chitandile uwanache wenu mkugamanyilila Malembelo ga Akunnungu yagakuti kumpa lunda lwalukuikanawo ukulupusyo kwa litala lya kwakulupilila Kilisito.
and that from infancy you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to obtain salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 Malembelo ga Akunnungu gose galembekwe kwa kulongoswa ni Akunnungu nombe gana masengo gakwiganya usyene ni gakwamuka ni gakulinganya ileŵo ni kwajiganya ŵandu atame mu utame wambone paujo pa Akunnungu,
Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing;
17 kuti mundu jwakuntumichila Akunnungu aŵe jwakomboleswe mu indu yose kuti aŵe chile kupanganya masengo gagali gambone.
so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work.
