1 Achalongo achinjangu ŵakunonyelwa, aji jili ngani ja kwika kwa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito ni kusongangana kwetu pamo paujo pao. Kwayele tukunchondelela nnope,
Now we ask you, brothers, on behalf of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him,
2 kasimpweleswa chitema namuno unantojimye utenga, namose ni liloŵe, namose ni chikalata chachikuganichikwa kuti chityochele kukwetu, chachikusala kuti lyuŵa lya kuuja kwa Ambuje limasile kwika.
for ye not to be quickly shaken from your mind, nor to be alarmed, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by a letter as by us, as that the day of the Christ has come.
3 Nkakunda kulambuchikwa ni mundu jwalijose kwa litala lyalili lyose. Pakuŵa lyuŵa lyo ngaliika mpaka uiche kaje utindiganyo wekulungwa ni Jwachigongomalo awoneche, mundu jo mbesi jakwe jili kujonangwa tikitiki pa mooto wangali mbesi.
Let not any man deceive you in any way, because if not, the defection may come first, and he may be revealed-the man of sin, the son of destruction,

5 Ana ngankukumbuchila kuti panaliji pamo ni ŵanyamwe nansalile indu yose yi?
Do ye not remember that when I was yet with you I told you these things?
6 Nambo kwana chindu chachikulekasya kopochela yeleyo sambano, ni ŵanyamwe nkuchimanyilila chelecho. Kwayele lyuŵa pachiliiche Jwachigongomalo chawoneche pa katema kambone.
And now ye know that which restrains, for him to be revealed in his own time.
7 Pakuŵa machili gagasisiche ga chigongomalo cho gakupanganya masengo, nambo Jwachigongomalo jula yaani Shetani ngawoneka kose mpaka jwele jwakunlekasya jo pachatyosyekwe.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he who restrains it until now will develop from the midst.
8 Pelepo ni pachakopochele Mundu Jwachigongomalo, nambo Ambuje Che Yesu pachaiche chambulaje kwa mbumu ja pakang'wa pao ni kunjonanga kwa ung'alime wa ukulu pachaiche.
And then the lawless will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the spirit of his mouth, and will neutralize at the appearance of his coming.
9 Mundu Jwachigongomalo chachiika ni machili ga Shetani ni kutendekanya imanyisyo yaili yose ni yakusimonjeka ya unami,
Whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and marvels of deceit,
10 ni kutumia chigongomalo chachili chose kwalambusya wose ŵakusochela. Ŵanyawo chasochele ligongo nganaunonyela usyene kuti akulupuswe.
and in all deception of unrighteousness in those who are perishing, in return for which, they did not accept the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.
11 Kwa ligongo lyo Akunnungu ŵapelechele machili ga kusoyasya kuti aukulupilile unami.
And because of this God will send them the force of a delusion, for them to believe a lie,
12 Kwayele ŵandu wose uŵakanile kuukulupilila usyene nambo akusisangalalila sambi, chalamulikwe.
so that they might be condemned-all those who did not believe the truth, but who delighted in unrighteousness.
13 Nambo ikutuŵajila kwatogolela Akunnungu moŵa gose kwa ligongo lyenu, achalongo ŵankunonyelwa ni Ambuje, pakuŵa Akunnungu ansagwile ŵanyamwe chitandile kundanda kuti nkulupuswe kwa machili ga Mbumu jwa Akunnungu kuti ntendekwe ŵandu ŵao ŵaswela kwa chikulupi chenu mu usyene.
But we are indebted to express thanks to God always about you, brothers, beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation, in sanctification of spirit and belief of truth,
14 Akunnungu annaliche mwanya kwa litala lya Ngani Jambone jitwalalichile uwe kuti mpochele liuto lya ukulu wa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
for which he called you, through our good news, for an acquired possession of glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Nipele, achalongo achinjetu, njimeje chilimbile ni kukamulisya majiganyo gamwalijiganyisye kukwetu kwa ulalichile wetu pane chikalata chitwannembele.
So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that ye were taught, whether by word or by letter from us.
16 Tukwaŵenda asyene Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito ni Akunnungu Atati ŵetu juŵatunonyele ni kwa umbone wao, ŵatupele utulasyo wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi ni chilolelo chambone, (aiōnios g166)
And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father who loved us and gave eternal encouragement and good hope through grace, (aiōnios g166)
17 ajitusye mitima jenu ni kunlimbisya mmasengo ni kuŵecheta gambone.
encourage your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
