2 Ŵakolinto 8
1 Achalongo achinjetu tukusaka kummanyisya yatite Akunnungu kwapa ntuuka mipingo ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito ja chilambo cha ku Makedonia.
And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace of God that has been bestowed upon the congregations of Macedonia,
2 Ŵakukulupilila ŵa kweleko ŵalinjikwe nnope kwa kulagaswa nambo kusangalala kwao kwaliji kwakukulungwa mpaka ŵapundile kupeleganya mwakupunda kwa ntima wa unonyelo namuno ŵaliji ŵakulaga nnope.
that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their extreme poverty produced their extravagant, sincere generosity.
3 Isyene ngunsalila umboni, ŵapelegenye kwa ukombole wao ni ŵapundile kupeleganya kupunda ukombole wao ni nganapagwa mundu juŵaakanganyichisye nambo kwa kusaka kwao achinsyene.
Because according to their ability, I bear witness, even beyond that ability, of their own accord,
4 Ŵatuchondelele kwannope tukamulangane nawo kwatumichila ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵaali ku Yudea.
they begged us with much entreaty to receive the gift, the sharing in the ministry to the saints
5 Nganapanganya mpela itutite kulolela, nambo ŵalityosisye achinsyene kaje kwa Ambuje ni kwetuwe, malinga ni yaikuti pakwanonyela Akunnungu.
—and more than we had hoped, they first gave themselves to the Lord (and due to God's will, to us).
6 Ni twanchondelele che Tito juŵagatandite masengo go ankamusye ŵanyamwe mmalichisye masengo go gakupeleganya kwa ntima wa unonyelo.
So we urged Titus that as he had made a beginning so he should also bring to completion in you this grace as well;
7 Ŵanyamwe nkupanganya yambone mu yaili yose, mchikulupi ni ukombole wa kuŵecheta ni umanyilisi ni kuchalila kose ni unonyelo wenu kukwetu. Kwayele tukunchondelela nkole unonyelo wakupunda mmasengo gakupeleganya ga.
that as you excel in everything—in faith, in word, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—that you excel in this grace too.
8 Nganguŵecheta kwa kunkanganyichisya nambo ngusaka kuulola unonyelo wenu iŵaga uli wausyene kwa kuulandanya ni unonyelo wa ŵandu ŵane.
I am not giving a command, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others.
9 Pakuŵa ŵanyamwe muumanyi ntuuka wa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito, namuno ŵaliji ŵakusichila nambo ŵalitesile ŵakulaga kwa liwamba lyenu kuti kwa kulaga kwao ŵanyamwe ntendekwe ŵakusichila.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
10 None pa liloŵe li ngunshauli yelei, ili yambone kukwenu kumalichisya aila imwaitandisye mwacheso. Ŵanyamwe mwaliji ŵandanda kupeleganya ni mwaliji ŵandanda kuŵa ni lung'wanu lwakutenda yeleyo.
So here is my advice in this (since already a year ago you began to give and to plan, this is to your advantage):
11 Sambano mmalichisye masengo gakupeleganya go mpela ila imwatite pakuŵa ni lung'wanu lwa kukamusya. Ni kwa lung'wanu lulalula lumwakwete lwakukamusya, iyoyo peyo mmalichisye masengo go kwa kupeleganya malinga ni ukombole wenu.
now you must really finish the doing—not only of the enthusiastic planning but also of the completing—out of what you have
12 Iŵaga mundu akwete ntima wa kupeleganya, Akunnungu akupochela chindu chakutyosya cho kwakuchilola achila chakwete, ngaŵa kwakuchilola achila changanakola.
(because when the intention is presented, it is acceptable according to what one may have, not what he does not have).
13 Nningwa wangu ngaŵa kuti ŵanyamwe nlajeje kuti ŵane apocheje ngwamba nambo iŵeje imo.
Now this is not to distress you so as to relieve others,
14 Aka katemaka ŵanyamwe nkwete indu yaijinji nnope, nipele mwakamuchisye aŵala ŵaikwasoŵa. Ni ŵanyawo patachipata indu yejinji akombole kunkamuchisya ŵanyamwe yaikunsoŵa. Ni pelepo chiiŵe imo.
but by way of balance—at this juncture your surplus alleviates their lack, so that later their surplus may alleviate your lack—yes, that there be balance;
15 Mpela Malembelo ga Akunnungu igakuti pakusala, “Juŵakumbikenye yejinji nganakola yakupunda, ni ajula juŵakumbikenye kanondi nganakola litika.”
as it is written: “He who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little.”
16 Ngwatogolela Akunnungu ŵaŵapele che Tito ntima wa kunkamusya ŵanyamwe mpela indite kunkamusya une.
Now thanks be to God who puts the same earnest care for you in the heart of Titus;
17 Ngaŵa kuti ajiitichisye itwaŵendile pe nambo ŵaliji ni lung'wanu lwalukulungwa lwa kunkamusya mpaka ŵasachile nsyene kwika kukwenu.
because he not only welcomed my appeal but being very diligent he went to you of his own accord.
18 Pamo nawo tukunlajisya njetu, jwakulapikwa ni mipingo jose ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito kwa kulalichila Ngani Jambone.
But we have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Gospel is throughout all the congregations;
19 Kupunda gelego asagulikwe ni mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito kuti alongane ni uweji patukuijausya indu yetyosekwe, masengo gatukugapanganya kwa ligongo lya ukulu wa Ambuje ni kulosya kuti tukusaka kwakamusya ŵandu.
and not only that—he was actually chosen by the congregations as our traveling companion with this gift, that is being administered by us with a view to the glory of the Lord Himself, and to our own goodwill,
20 Tuchilisepusyaga ni liloŵe li kuti mundu jwalijose ngasakola ni chachili chose chakutulalatila yankati itukuti kuutumichila ntuuka wu.
avoiding any criticism about how we are handling this abundance;
21 Tukusaka kupanganya yambone ngaŵa kwa Ambuje pe nambo ni kwa ŵandu nombe.
giving thought to blamelessness, not only before the Lord but also before men.
22 Kwayele tukunnajisya nlongo njetu jwine pamo ni ŵanyawo jwatunlinjile ni kunkulupilila, nombejo akusaka kwannope kunkamusya, ni sambano akulajila kwannope pakuŵa akwete chikulupi chachikulungwa ni ŵanyamwe.
Further, we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved to be diligent in many things, but now much more so, because of our great confidence in you.
23 Che Tito jwele ali njangu, jwatukutumichila pamo kwaligongo lyenu. Nambo kwagamba achalongo achinjetu ŵane ŵaŵili ŵakulongana nawo wo ŵelewo ali ŵantenga kutyochela mu mpingo wa ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito nombewo akunchimbichisya Kilisito.
As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker toward you; as for our brothers, they are envoys of the congregations, a glory of Christ.
24 Sambano mwalosye ŵandu wo unonyelo wenu kuti mipingo jao ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito jiŵatumile amanyilile kuti patukulilapa kwaligongo lyenu kuli kwakusyene.
Therefore show the proof of your love (and of our boasting about you) to them as representatives of the congregations.
