1 Une che Paolo nduna jwa Che Yesu Kilisito kwa kulajiswa ni Akunnungu Nkulupusyo jwetu pamo ni Che Yesu Kilisito chilolelo chetu.
PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, by the commandment of Aloha our Saviour, and of Jeshu Meshiha our hope;
2 Ngunnembela che Timoseo mwanangu jwa usyenesyene mu chikulupi. Ngummendela umbone ni chanasa ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu Atati ŵetu ni kwa Che Yesu Kilisito Ambuje ŵetu.
to Timotheos, my true son in the faith: grace and mercy and peace from Aloha our Father and Jeshu Meshiha our Lord.
3 Ngusaka nnonjele ku Efeso mpela ila inatite pakunchondelela katema panaliji nkwaula ku Makedonia. Kweleko kwana ŵandu ŵakujiganya majiganyo ga unami nkaakanye.
I requested of thee, when I would go into Makedunia, to remain at Ephesos, and instruct certain men that they teach not various doctrines,
4 Mwasalile alekangane ngano sya unami ni moŵa gose kugatanga meena ga achambuje ŵao pangali mbesi. Yele yose ikutandisya makani. Ngaikwalimbisya ŵandu mmasengo ga Akunnungu gagakutendeka kwa litala lya chikulupi.
nor throw themselves (away) upon stories and tales of generations which have no end, (but) which rather subserve contentions, and not edification in the faith of Aloha.
5 Nningwa wa lyele lilajisyo uli unonyelo waukutyochela mu ntima weswela ni nkuimanyilila kuitenda yaili yambone ni chikulupi cha usyene.
But the end of the commandment is love, from a pure heart, and from a good conscience, and from genuine faith.
6 Nambo ŵandu ŵane gasoŵile gelego ni kugalauchila kuusyanausyana indu yangalimate.
And from them that have erred, and have declined to vain words,
7 Ŵelewo akusaka aŵeje ŵakwiganya Malajisyo nambo achinsyene ngaakugamanyilila maloŵe gaakugaŵecheta atamuno indu yaakulimbila kuisala.
seeking to become teachers of the law, while they understand not what they speak, nor that concerning which they contend.
8 Tukumanyilila kuti Malajisyo ga Akunnungu gali gambone, iŵaga mundu chagawone kwa litala lyalikusachilwa kugawona.
But we know that the law is good, if a man according to the law converse in it;
9 Tukumanyilila kuti Malajisyo nganigaŵichikwa kwa ligongo lya ŵandu ŵambone, nambo gaŵichikwe kwa ligongo lya ŵandu ŵangalumbana ni ŵangakugajitichisya Malajisyo, ni ŵandu ŵangakwapopela Akunnungu ni ŵaali ni sambi, ni ŵandu ŵangakwamanyilila Akunnungu ni ŵakutukana ni ŵandu ŵakwaulaga atati ni achikulu ŵao ni kwaulaga ŵandu ŵane.
knowing that against the righteous the law is not set, but against the evil, and rebels, and the wicked, and sinners, and the dishonest, and those who are not pure, and those who strike their fathers, and those who strike their mothers, and murderers,
10 Malajisyo gaŵichikwe kwa ligongo lya ŵachigwagwa ni kwa achalume ŵakugonana achinsyene pe ni kwa ŵakwasumisya ŵandu kuŵa achikapolo ni kwa ŵaunami ni kwa ŵakulumbilila unami ni kwa ŵakupanganya ipanganyo yangaikulandana ni majiganyo gausyene.
and fornicators, and liers with men, and stealers of the free, and liars, and doers against an oath
11 Majiganyo ga gakutyochela mu Ngani Jambone jambele Akunnungu jwangulupilile lalichile Ngani Jambone jajikutyochela kwa Akunnungu ŵaali ni ukulu ni ŵakulapikwa moŵa gose.
and whatever (else) is opposed to the healthful doctrine of the gospel of the glory of the blessed Aloha, with which I have been intrusted.
12 Ngwatogolela Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito ŵandasile machili pa masengo gangu, pakuŵa amweni ndili jwakukulupilichika nipele ŵasagwile kuti natumichile.
And I thank him who hath empowered me, our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who accounted me faithful, and constituted me his minister; me,
13 Namuno kalakala naliji ngwatukana Akunnungu ni kwalagasya ŵandu ni naliji mundu jwaumenyani, Akunnungu ŵaangolele chanasa, ligongo natesile yeleyo nkuloŵela kwangu ni kwa ungamanyilila wangu ni pakuŵa nganingola chikulupi.
who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious; but I received mercy, because while ignorant I did it, without faith.
14 Ambuje ŵetu ŵambele umbone wao wejinji ni chikulupi ni unonyelo watulinawo nkulumbikana ni Che Yesu Kilisito.
But in me hath abounded the grace of our Lord, and faith and love which are in Jeshu Meshiha.
15 Liloŵe li lili lyakukulupilichika ni kukundikwa, yakuti Che Yesu Kilisito ŵaiche pachilambo kukwakulupusya ŵaali ni sambi. None ndili jwa sambi kwapunda wose,
Faithful is the word, and worthy of reception that Jeshu the Meshiha came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.
16 nambo kwa lye ligongo lyo Akunnungu ŵangolele chanasa. Ŵatesile yele kuti kwa litala lyangune jwa sambi kwapunda ŵandu wose, Che Yesu Kilisito akombole kulosya upililiu wao. None mme chisyasyo kwa wose uchakulupilile ni kupochela umi wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi. (aiōnios g166)
But for this he had compassion upon me, that in me first Jeshu Meshiha might show all long-suffering, as an exhibition for them who should believe in him unto everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Sambano kwa Mwenye ŵa moŵa gose pangali mbesi, nombe ŵangakuwa namose ŵangakuwoneka, ni ŵaali Akunnungu ŵajika, ŵandu wose ŵaape luchimbichimbi ni ukulu mmoŵa gose pangali mbesi! Eloo. (aiōn g165)
But to the King who is eternal, incorruptible, and unseen, who is one Aloha, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 Mwanangu che Timoseo, ngumpa ali lilajisyo li malinga ni maloŵe gakulondola gagaŵechetekwe kalakala gankati mwe. Maloŵe go ni gachigantende nkombole kumenyana ngondo jambone,
This commandment I commit to thee, my son Timotheos, according to the early prophecies which were concerning thee, that thou mayest war through them this good warfare with faith and with a good conscience.
19 mpunde kukamulisya chikulupi chenu ni majiganyo ga usyene ga chikulupi ni kuitenda yaili yambone pe. Ŵandu ŵane akanile kugajitichisya majiganyo ga usyene, kwayele achijonasile chikulupi chao.
For those who this have put away from them of faith have been emptied;
20 Mwa ŵelewo apali che Himeneyo ni che Alekisanda unajamwiche kwa kwalechela mmakono mwa Shetani kuti ajiganyikwe anaatukane Akunnungu.
as Hymeneos and Alexandros, whom I have delivered to Satana, that they may not blaspheme.
