< 1 Timoseo 4 >
1 Mbumu jwa Akunnungu akusala pangasisa kuti moŵa ga mbesi ŵandu ŵane chaleche chikulupi chao ni kusipilikachisya mbumu syasikulambusya ni majiganyo ga masoka.
Now the Spirit says expressly, that, in the last times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and teachings suggested by demons,
2 Majiganyo ganti yele gakujenechekwa ni ŵandu ŵa unami, ŵaati mitima jakukumbuchila kupanganya yambone jiwile mpela ila jijochekwe ni chisyano cha mooto.
through the hypocrisy of liars, who are seared in their conscience,
3 Ŵele ŵandu wo akwiganyanga kuti ili sambi kulombela ni sooni kulya yakulya impepe. Nambo Akunnungu ŵaigumbile yele yakulya lyo kuti, ŵandu ŵakwakulupilila ŵele ni kuumanyilila usyene alyanje kwa kwatogolela Akunnungu.
who forbid to marry, and command to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe, and know the truth.
4 Pakuŵa chili chose chachipanganyikwe ni Akunnungu chili chambone ni nganichipagwa chakukanilwa, nambo ipochelwe kwa kwatogolela Akunnungu.
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving;
5 Pakuŵa kwa litala lya Liloŵe lya Akunnungu ni kwa kupopelela, kukuchitenda chindu cho chikundikwe ni Akunnungu.
for it is sanctified by the word of God, and by prayer.
6 Iŵaga chimwasalile achalongo achinjetu wose malajisyo ga, chimme jwakutumichila jwambone jwa Kilisito Yesu, chinkule mu chikulupi kwa maloŵe ga chikulupi ni majiganyo ga usyene gankugakuya.
By recommending these things to the attention of the brethren, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, being nourished with the words of the faith, and of good teaching, which you have fully known.
7 Nambo nnekangane ni ngano syakalakala sya unami syanganisiŵa sya Akunnungu ni syangalumbana. Nchalile nkole mbili ja kwanonyelesya Akunnungu.
But reject those profane and old-womanish fables, and exercise yourself for godliness.
8 Pakuŵa kulijongola kukuchikamusya chiilu nambo kupanganya aila yakuisaka Akunnungu kwana ukamuchisyo mu indu yose, pakuŵa ikutulanjila umi mu utame wa sambano ni waukwika wo.
For the exercise of the body is profitable for little; but godliness is profitable for all things, and has the promise of the life that now is, and also of that which is to come.
9 Ali liloŵe li lili lyakukulupilichika, sooni lyalikuŵajilwa kukundikwa ni kukulupilichika.
This is a true saying, and worthy of all acceptation:
10 Uwe tukusauka ni kupanganya masengo kwa kuchalila pakuŵa tukwete chilolelo chetu kwa Akunnungu ŵaali ŵajumi, ni ŵaali Nkulupusyo jwa ŵandu wose nnopennope jwa ŵele ŵakukulupilila.
for to this end we both labor, and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
11 Gele ni maloŵe gagakuŵajilwa kugalajisya ni kugajiganya.
These things command and teach.
12 Nkajitichisya kuti mundu jwalijose anyosye pakuŵa ndi jwanchanda, nambo mme chisyasyo cha ŵandu ŵakukulupilila, mu uŵechete wenu ni mu lwendo lwenu ni mu unonyelo wenu ni mu chikulupi chenu ni mu utame waukwanonyelesya Akunnungu.
Let no one despise your youth; but be an example to the believers, in word, in behavior, in love, in spirit, in faithfulness, in purity.
13 Moŵa gose nlimbile kwaŵalanjila ŵandu Malembelo ga Akunnungu pangalisisa, ni kulalichila Ngani Jambone ni kwiganya mpaka patiiche.
Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.
Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you according to prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
15 Nganichisye nkati gelego ni kulityosya mwasyene nkupanganya indu yose.
Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them, that your advancement may be manifest in all things.
16 Nlilolechesye inkuti pakutama ni inkuti pakwiganya. Njendelechele kutenda yeleyo kuti nkombole kulikulupusya mwasyene ni ŵelewo ŵakumpilikana wo.
Take heed to yourself, and to your teaching; continue in them; for by doing this, you will save both yourself, and those who hear you.
