1 Ŵasesalonike 2
1 Achalongo achinjetu, mwanya mwachinsyene nkumanyilila kuti kunjimajimila kwetu nganikuŵa kwa iyiyi peyi.
For ye yourselves know, brothers, our entrance with you, that it has not become empty.
2 Mpela inkuti kumanyilila, tukanaŵe kwika kukwenu twalageswe kaje ni kutukanwa ku Filipi ko. Namose kwaliji ni kutukanila kwannope, Akunnungu ŵetu ŵatukamuchisye kunlalichila Ngani Jambone jakwe pangajogopa.
But having suffered before and been mistreated in Philippi, as ye know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the good news of God within much conflict.
3 Utenga watukuulalichila kukwenu ngaukukulupilila unami atamuno nningwa wangalumbana atamuno ngatukusaka kunlambusya mundu jwalijose.
For our exhortation is not from error, nor from uncleanness, nor in deception,
4 Nambo moŵa gose tukusala mpela yakuti kutukulupilila Akunnungu pakuŵa ŵelewo paŵatukundile kuti tukuŵajilwa, ŵatupele masengo ga kulalichila Ngani Jambone ji kwa ŵandu. Nningwa wetu ngaŵa kwanonyelesya ŵandu nambo tukusaka kwanonyelesya Akunnungu, ŵakusimanyilila nganisyo sya mitima jetu.
but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the good news, thus we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who proves our hearts.
5 Akunnungu ali jwaumboni jwetu, ni ŵanyamwe mwachinsyene nkumanyilila kuti namose lyuŵa limo nganituŵa ni maloŵe ga kulikombakomba kwa ŵandu atamuno maloŵe ga kunyenga, namose kukola ipanje yenu kwa kalamuka.
For we came neither in word of flattery (at any time as ye know) nor a pretense of greed (God is witness)
6 Nganitusaka kulapikwa ni ŵandu atamuno ni ŵanyamwe atamuno ni ŵandu ŵane,
nor seeking glory from men, neither from you nor from others. While able to bear down as apostles of Christ,
7 namuno uweji tuli achinduna ŵa Kilisito, tukakombwele kunkanganichisya kuti ntujitichisye uwe. Nambo uweji twalitimaliche pasikati jenu mpela achikulu yakuti kwalela achiŵanagwe.
nevertheless we became gentle in the midst of you, as a nurse cherishes her own children.
8 Uweji twannonyele nnope mwanya namose kuŵa chile ngaŵa kwa kunnalichila Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu pe, nambo ni kukoposya umi wetu iyoyo kwa ligongo lyenu, pakuŵa kusyene mwanya ndi ŵakunonyelwa ŵetu.
Thus being desirous of you, we were pleased to impart to you, not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because ye have become beloved to us.
9 Achalongo achinjangu, nkukumbuchila itwatite kulaga ni kugapanganya masengo ga kulimba. Patwalalichilaga Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu, twapanganyisye masengo muusi ni chilo kuti tukantopela atamuno jumo jwa ŵanyamwe.
For ye remember, brothers, our labor and the hardship. For, laboring night and day in order not to burden any of you, we preached to you the good news of God.
10 Ŵanyamwe ndi ŵaumboni ŵetu, ni Akunnungu nombe ali jwaumboni jwetu itwatite pakutama pasikati jenu mwanya ŵankukulupilila, twatemi yaikuti pakuŵajilwa kwa uswela ni pangali kulalatilwa.
Ye are witnesses, and God, how piously and justly and blamelessly we became to you who believe,
11 Nkumanyilila kuti twanjamwiche jwalijose nti atati yakuti kwapanganyichisya achiŵanagwe.
just as ye know, as each one of you as a father of his own children, imploring you, and comforting,
12 Twanlimbisye ni kwatusya mitima ni kwajamuka kuti nkombole kutama kwa kwaŵajila Akunnungu ŵakummilanga kwinjila mu Umwenye ni ukulu wao.
and solemnly declaring for you to walk worthily of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
13 Sooni tukwete ligongo liine lya kwatogolela Akunnungu pangaleka pakuŵa patwannyichisye Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu, mwajipilikene ni kujipochela. Mwajipochele ngaŵa nti liloŵe lya ŵandu nambo nti liloŵe lya Akunnungu, ni isyene ni ilitite pakuŵa. Pakuŵa Akunnungu ni ŵakupanganya masengo mmitima jenu mwanya ŵankukulupilila.
And because of this we thank God without ceasing, because, having received the word of God heard from us, ye received not the word of men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.
14 Achalongo achinjangu, indu iyaakopochele mipingo ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito ŵaali ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵa ku Yudea, ni ŵanyamwe ŵakwe inkopochele iyoyo peyo. Pakuŵa mwanya mwalageswe ni ŵandu ŵa mu chilambo chenu ilaila mpela iŵalageswe ŵanyawo ni Ŵayahudi achinjao.
For ye, brothers, became imitators of the congregations of God, which are in Judea in Christ Jesus, because ye also suffered the same things by your own countrymen, just as also they by the Jews.
15 Aŵala Ŵayahudi ŵangakukulupilila ni uŵammuleje Ambuje Che Yesu ni ŵakulondola ŵa Akunnungu ni kutulagasya nowe ŵakwe. Ŵandu ŵa ngakwanonyelesya Akunnungu, sooni ali ŵammagongo ŵa ŵandu wose!
The men who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and who persecuted us, and are not pleasing to God, and are contrary to all men.
16 Namose ŵalinjile kutukanya kulalichila Ngani Jambone kwa ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi kuti akakombola kukulupuswa. Kwa kutenda yeleyo ŵajonjechesye sambi ni kugumbalichisya ngoo pachanya sambi syatesile moŵa gose. Nambo mbesi jakwe lutumbilo lwa Akunnungu lwaichilile.
Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles so that they might be saved, in order to fill up their sins always. But wrath came upon them finally.
17 Achalongo achinjetu, uwe twalekangene nomwe kwa moŵa pe, sooni kwaliji kwa ungawonegana nambo ngaŵa kwa nganisyo syetu. Kanyuma kanandi twasachile kummona sooni.
But we, brothers, who were orphaned from you for the time of an hour, in presence not in heart, hastened more earnestly to see your face, with much desire.
18 Kwa yele twasachile kunjimajimila sooni, uneji che Paolo, nalinjile kaŵilikaŵili kuti iche kukwenu, nambo Shetani ŵatulekasisye.
Therefore we wanted to come to you, indeed I, Paul, even once and again, and Satan hindered us.
19 Uli, patutujime paujo pa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu pataiche tutulilapile chichi nkati kupunda kwetu? Chitulilapilile ŵanyamwe mwachinsyene. Ŵanyamwe ni ŵandi chilolelo chetu, ni lukondwa lwetu ni ŵandi chindu mpela singwa.
For what is our hope or joy or crown of boast? Or is it not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?
20 Kusyene kwaligongo lyenu, uwe tukulilapa ni kusengwa.
For ye are our glory and joy.
