提多書 2
1 但你所講的總要合乎那純正的道理。
But as for yoʋ, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
2 勸老年人要有節制、端莊、自守，在信心、愛心、忍耐上都要純全無疵。
Elderly men are to be sober-minded, dignified, sensible, and sound in faith, love, and endurance.
3 又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，
Elderly women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderous or enslaved to much wine, but teaching what is good,
4 好指教少年婦人，愛丈夫，愛兒女，
so that they can admonish the young women to be loving to their husbands, loving to their children,
5 謹守，貞潔，料理家務，待人有恩，順服自己的丈夫，免得上帝的道理被毀謗。
sensible, pure, homemakers, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited.
6 又勸少年人要謹守。
In the same way, urge the younger men to be of sound mind.
7 你自己凡事要顯出善行的榜樣；在教訓上要正直、端莊，
Show yoʋrself to be a model of good works in every way, and in yoʋr teaching show integrity, dignity, incorruptibility,
8 言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。
and sound speech that is above reproach, so that any opponent may be put to shame because he has nothing bad to say about us.
9 勸僕人要順服自己的主人，凡事討他的喜歡，不可頂撞他，
Slaves are to be submissive to their own masters and well-pleasing in everything, not talking back,
10 不可私拿東西，要顯為忠誠，以致凡事尊榮我們救主－上帝的道。
not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in every way they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior.
11 因為上帝救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來，
For the saving grace of God has appeared to all people,
instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly manner in the present age, (aiōn g165)
13 等候所盼望的福，並等候至大的上帝和我們救主耶穌基督的榮耀顯現。
as we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
14 他為我們捨了自己，要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們，特作自己的子民，熱心為善。
He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.
15 這些事你要講明，勸戒人，用各等權柄責備人；不可叫人輕看你。
Declare these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise yoʋ.
